The crisis of life “with” God

We live in a generation that values what is visible, shareable, and recognized. In the midst of this, life with God faces a silent risk: losing the value of what is done in secret. What should be the foundation of our faith—intimacy with the Father—is often replaced by a spirituality that is visible, yet empty. Jesus taught us a completely different path—a path where what is done in secret is not optional, but essential. Where It all begins “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen…” Matthew 6:6 A true life with God is not born in public, but in secret. It is there, away from human eyes, that the relationship is built, the heart is aligned, and faith becomes real. Jesus was not only teaching about prayer, but about priorities. What we do in secret reveals where our heart truly is. When that place loses value, faith begins to grow shallow, and everything starts to feel difficult. Without secrecy, there is no depth. Prayer: I Surrender

Father, today I stand before You acknowledging that You are the God of new beginnings. Even when everything seems lost, when cycles end and paths break apart, You remain the One who restores, who lifts up, and who writes new stories. I thank You because Your mercy is never exhausted, and Your love is greater than any mistake, pain, or past that I carry. Many times I feel stuck to what has already passed — wrong decisions, missed opportunities, difficult seasons. But today I choose to trust that You do not define me by my past, but rather by Your purpose. Teach me to look ahead, to believe that new beginnings are possible in You. I want to walk in faith, even when I cannot yet see everything clearly. I ask You to strengthen me to live in this new season. May I not only desire to start over, but have the courage to take different steps. New beginnings

Ruth’s story doesn’t belong only to the past; it resonates deeply today. Prayer: Reveal Yourself

Father, I know that You are not guided by appearances, but that You search deeply into my heart, my intentions, and my motivations. I often worry about the outward, about what others think, but today I ask You: purify my inner self, because I know that it is there that You dwell and it is from there that You cause Your grace — true life — to flow. You are sovereign over all things. Just as Your power was revealed in Egypt, confronting everything that rose up as a god, I know that nothing can compare to You. Tear down within me every hidden “idol,” everything that takes Your place in my heart, and teach me to live surrendered to You alone, understanding that Your power and Your truth are above all things. Judgment, revelation, and redemption

When reading the narrative of the plagues in Egypt, in the book of Exodus, a question often arises: why didn’t God free His people with just one word? At first glance, it may seem like unnecessary suffering, even cruelty. But in reality, each plague carried a profound revelation about who God is. Egypt was a society filled with gods, where every area of life was attributed to a deity. What God does there is not only to free Israel — it is to reveal His absolute sovereignty over everything and everyone, showing that there is no other besides Him. False gods “…and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord.” Exodus 12:12 The plagues sent to Egypt were not random. They struck directly at what the Egyptians worshiped, confronting their gods and exposing their powerlessness. The Nile, considered sacred, turned to blood. Animals that were worshiped were struck. Plagues like locusts, flies, and darkness came upon the land, showing that none of the gods of Egyptian culture had the power to stop the work of the true God. Prayer: Seen by God

Father, today I stand before You acknowledging that You see beyond what our eyes can see. You are not impressed by appearance, by beautiful words, or by what others see in me, but You search the heart. Therefore, I ask You: align my inner self with You, because I know that it is from within that true life with God is born. Many times I worry more about what people think than about what You say about me. But Your Word teaches me that man looks at the outward appearance, while Your eyes are turned toward the heart. Remove from me every need for human approval and form in me a heart that is upright, sincere, and fully devoted to You. Separate me from the weeds, make me like You, and guide me fully toward Your purpose. May I live for Your Kingdom and no longer live for myself. What God really sees

We live in a world where appearance is often confused with essence. People may seem spiritual, righteous, and aligned with God, but only He knows what is truly in the heart. The parable of the weeds and the wheat confronts us with this truth: not everything that grows together belongs to the same purpose. More than seeming, God calls us to be. And in the end, that is what will make all the difference. Same field, different nature “Let both grow together until the harvest.” Matthew 13:30 Jesus explained that the weeds and the wheat grow together in the same field, sharing the same environment, the same soil, and even the same conditions. To human eyes, it is often difficult to tell them apart. This reality teaches us that being in the same place — in the church, in a Christian community, or in environments of faith — does not mean having the same essence. The weed may even resemble the wheat for a time, but its nature is different. Therefore, the calling is not merely to be present, but to be transformed. Prayer: Convicts

Father, I know the story of the resurrection, but I don’t always live with the conviction it should generate in me. Today I ask You: transform my knowledge into living faith, because I know that the resurrection is not just an event, but the foundation of my hope and my life in You. Just as the disciples who moved from fear to boldness, I also want to experience this transformation. Many times I let myself be carried away by doubt, insecurity, and the circumstances around me. But I know that Your truth is greater than what I feel. Strengthen my faith so that I do not live guided by what I see, but by the certainty of who You are. Between resurrection and conviction

The resurrection of Jesus was not merely an isolated event, but the beginning of a profound transformation in the lives of the disciples. The week following Easter Sunday reveals a process of understanding, faith, and restoration. In that interval, we see how God works in the human heart, even amid doubt, fear, and uncertainty. From confusion to revelation In the first days after the resurrection, the disciples were deeply shaken. Even with the empty tomb, they still did not fully understand what had happened. The pain of the crucifixion was still fresh, and hope seemed fragile. It was in this setting that Jesus began to reveal Himself in a personal and intentional way. In John 20:14–16, Mary Magdalene encounters Jesus, but initially does not recognize Him. It is only when He calls her by name that her eyes are opened. This shows us that the risen Christ continues to reveal Himself in an intimate and personal way. Written from the beginning

Easter is not just an isolated celebration on the Christian calendar that appeared out of nowhere. It is the fulfillment of a promise that runs throughout the entire Bible. From the very beginning, God had already established a plan of redemption, revealed little by little over the course of history. Christ came to save us and gave Himself for us, even though we did not deserve it. His coming was not by chance, and His death was not an accident, but the center of a carefully crafted divine narrative, where every detail pointed to the perfect sacrifice. Pointing to the Messiah Long before the cross, God was already revealing, through symbols and events, what would later be fulfilled in Jesus. One of the most striking examples is the sacrifice of Isaac. “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love…”(Genesis 22:2) Just as Isaac carried the wood for the sacrifice, Jesus would carry the cross. However, unlike Isaac, Christ was the Lamb who truly gave Himself. There, God had already shown that He would provide the perfect sacrifice. What if…

How many times does the “what if…” paralyze us? “What if I don’t know what to say?”“What if they reject my faith?”“What if I am not prepared?” These questions, although common, cannot become excuses to ignore what God has already called us to. The Great Commission is not a suggestion, just an option presented by God. It is a direct call for all who follow Christ. And this call does not depend on perfection, but on willingness. “Go” is a commandment “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” Matthew 28:19 Jesus left a clear order before ascending to heaven. Prayer: Surrender to the Source

Father, I know that many times I act as if I were the one who is always right. How often have I trusted more in my own understanding than in Your wisdom, forgetting that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7). Today I surrender, recognizing that true wisdom does not come from within me, but from You. I confess my pride. Many times I struggle to accept correction, to listen, and to acknowledge when I am wrong. My ego speaks louder than Your voice. Therefore, I ask You—break in me everything that prevents me from having a teachable heart that is sensitive to Your direction. Teach me to trust less in myself and more in You. May my heart not be grounded in my own opinions, but in Your truth. The Owner of reason

Chapter 27 of the Book of Numbers presents one of the most striking scenes in the Old Testament: a moment in which God Himself affirms the justice of women who dared to stand up for themselves. Amid the preparation of the people of Israel to enter the Promised Land, a story emerges that profoundly reveals the Lord’s care for each of His daughters. The daughters of Zelophehad (Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah) appear in a context where culture and law favored only men. Even so, they rise up—not in rebellion, but with faith and a sense of justice—showing that God has never been indifferent to female dignity. Father, I praise You because all creation reveals Your greatness, and yet You have chosen to hear the sound of my worship. A sound that only comes from us

All of creation reveals the glory of God. The sky, the sea, the mountains, and even the wind express, in their own way, who He is. There is a constant praise happening all around us, often imperceptible to our ears because it is so commonplace in our daily lives, yet fully known by God. Yet, there is something unique about human worship. There is a sound, a surrender, an awareness that only we, as His children, can offer. Nature praises for what it was created to be. We worship because we know who created us, and that changes everything. Creation glorifies “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” Psalm 19:1 Nature lives in constant witness to the greatness of the Creator. The sun rises and sets in perfect order, the seas obey their limits, and all creation responds to the voice of God without question. Psalm 148 invites the sun, the moon, the stars, and all the earth to praise the Lord. This praise does not depend on choice, feeling, or circumstance. Prayer: Transformed

Father, I come before You with gratitude for the new life I have received in Christ. Thank You because the Gospel did not come merely to improve what we once were, but to transform us completely. You did not simply want to patch my failures, but to give me a new identity, a new hope, and a new path through Jesus. Many times I try to live this new life while still holding on to old habits, thoughts, and structures within me. I want to experience Your grace, yet I still carry parts of the old self. Forgive me when I try to place the “new cloth” of Your Word over the old garments of my pride, my sin, or empty traditions. Teach me to allow You to transform my heart completely. The Gospel is not a patch

The coming of Jesus was a turning point in human history. His message was not merely an improvement of the existing religious system, nor simply an adjustment to human traditions. The Gospel brought something completely new: a new covenant, a new way, and a new life for those who believe. Many times we try to live this newness while keeping old structures within us. We want to experience the grace of God, but without letting go of patterns, thoughts, and habits that belong to the past. Prayer: Fruit of Life

Father, today we place ourselves before You, recognizing that You know all things. You know what we were, what we are, and what we will still become. Even knowing our failures, wrong choices, and weaknesses, You continue to call us close. Just as in the beginning, when You placed before humanity the choice between obeying or disobeying, You continue to offer us the path of life. We were not created as robots or forced servants, but as children who are free to choose to walk with You in love. Many times we are like Adam and Eve. Eating the forbidden fruit

From the beginning, God knew everything. He knew what had been, what is, and what was yet to come. He knew the lies we have already told, the sins we have hidden, and even the mistakes we will still commit. So the inevitable question arises when we read Genesis: if He knew that Adam would fall, that Eve would be deceived, and that the serpent would be there, why did He place the tree in the garden? This is one of humanity’s oldest questions. Some even ask: Was God inconsistent? Selfish? Did He create an unfair test? But perhaps we are looking at the story through the wrong lens. The tree does not reveal a divine flaw; it reveals the depth of God’s love. Prayer: Death that gives birth to life

God, I thank You because You do not merely allow me to dream about what is great, but You call me to live what is Eternal. I am taught every day that each new spiritual step requires the death of my own “self,” of my plans, desires, and will, so that Your will may flourish in me. Give me the courage to surrender completely, knowing that only in You do I find true life. Help me understand that the journey with You is not designed to be comfortable, but to be transformative. I do not want to measure my value by what I achieve or control; I want my surrender to be driven by the pursuit of a deeper and deeper relationship with You. Steps of death and life

The journey with God is not a ladder of personal achievements, but an altar of daily surrender. Every new spiritual level, every greater responsibility, and every deeper purpose require something from us: surrender. In the Kingdom of God, growth does not mean accumulating, but emptying. There is a truth we often avoid: every spiritual step carries a death. The death of pride, of personal plans, of human expectations, and often of what we insist on calling a “dream.” But it is precisely in this place—the death of our “self”—that we find true life. God never calls us to lose, but to exchange. He invites us to surrender what is limited in order to receive what is Eternal. The more we pour out at His feet, the more room we create for Him to live in us. Strengthened by prayer

Father, I come before You, bowed down, recognizing that I do not have enough strength in myself to face life’s battles. Thank You for calling me close every day, not so that I would be ashamed of my limits and weaknesses, but so that I may find strength in You. May I seek You more and more, finding each day a deeper intimacy with You and the peace that only Your presence can give. I want to go deeper, God. Many times I want to move forward through my own efforts instead of through prayer that is born from a surrendered heart. Forgive me for trying to live the Christian life based on my own abilities and strategies rather than in constant dependence on You. On your knees

We live in a generation that desires quick results, supernatural experiences, and remarkable stories to tell. We want miracles, open doors, and powerful testimonies. But often, we are not willing to go through the process that produces them. In the Kingdom of God, our knees take us farther than our feet. The spiritual life is not sustained by haste, but by dependence. It is not about chasing opportunities, but about pouring ourselves out in His presence. Before great public victories, there are secret encounters with God. And it is there, in the place of prayer, that everything begins to be transformed. The pressure that produces oil “Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him.” Psalm 126:5–6 “Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed” (James 5:16).
