Prayer: I Surrender
Father, today I stand before You acknowledging that You are the God of new beginnings. Even when everything seems lost, when cycles end and paths break apart, You remain the One who restores, who lifts up, and who writes new stories. I thank You because Your mercy is never exhausted, and Your love is greater than any mistake, pain, or past that I carry.
Many times I feel stuck to what has already passed — wrong decisions, missed opportunities, difficult seasons. But today I choose to trust that You do not define me by my past, but rather by Your purpose. Teach me to look ahead, to believe that new beginnings are possible in You. I want to walk in faith, even when I cannot yet see everything clearly.
I ask You to strengthen me to live in this new season. May I not only desire to start over, but have the courage to take different steps. As Your Word says, I want to be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, knowing that I do not depend on my own strength, but on what You release over me every day.
Transform my mind and my heart. Remove from me every fear, guilt, or insecurity that keeps me from moving forward. Give me wisdom to make choices aligned with Your will, and sensitivity to recognize the opportunities You place before me. May I not return to what has already passed, but remain firm in the new thing You are doing.
Today I declare that I trust in Your plans. I surrender to You my past, my present, and my future. I choose to live the new beginning that comes from You, with faith, hope, and dependence. Because I know that with You, every ending can become a new beginning. In Jesus’ name, amen.
