God, I thank You because You do not merely allow me to dream about what is great, but You call me to live what is Eternal. I am taught every day that each new spiritual step requires the death of my own “self,” of my plans, desires, and will, so that Your will may flourish in me. Give me the courage to surrender completely, knowing that only in You do I find true life.
Help me understand that the journey with You is not designed to be comfortable, but to be transformative. I do not want to measure my value by what I achieve or control; I want my surrender to be driven by the pursuit of a deeper and deeper relationship with You. May I not fear the “deaths” You allow—open my eyes to see them as doors leading to the purpose prepared for me by Your hands.
When the world leads me to see the process of surrender as frustration or abandonment, remind my heart that You do not want to leave me empty-handed, but to create space in my hands to receive what is greater and Eternal, filling me continuously. Turn my struggles into faith, my surrender into grace, and my sacrifices into testimonies that glorify Your name.
Father, I recognize that the pain of the process is not the end; it is part of shaping a character conformed to the image of Christ. Help me understand that I am not called to fight for victory, but to live from it, for everything has already been accomplished on the cross. Give me spiritual eyes to see that what looks like death today will become abundant life in You tomorrow, like a seed that dies, sprouts, and grows.
Create in me a heart sensitive to Your voice. Instead of seeking human comfort or empty promises, may I seek Your presence and Your direction. Teach me to trust You in every stage of the journey, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You began in me and that nothing I surrender to You is in vain.
Lord, may my life reflect Your grace, mercy, and power. May I truly die to myself and live in Christ, and may every step of death bear the fruit of more life, faith, purpose, and love. In Jesus’ name, amen.
