Prayer: Purify and restore

Father, today I stand before You, acknowledging my need for the presence of Your Holy Spirit. There are areas of my life that often resemble dry, weary, and barren land. There are times when my faith weakens, my heart becomes heavy, and my soul thirsts for the water that only You can offer. Therefore, I ask You: pour out Your showers of blessing upon me. May Your Spirit renew what is worn out, restore what is broken, and bring life where there is dryness. Just as You promised to pour water upon the thirsty land, I acknowledge my dependence on You. I do not want to seek satisfaction in the fleeting things of this world, but in the inexhaustible source of Your presence. Fill my heart with Your peace, strengthen my faith, and help me remain close to You at all times. May Your Spirit flow through my life like rivers of living water, bringing hope, direction, and renewal to every area that needs Your touch. Holy Spirit, fall upon me like a flood. Invade the places in my heart that I have not yet fully surrendered to the Lord. Wash away my worries, my fears, my insecurities, and everything […]

The crisis of life “with” God

We live in a generation that values what is visible, shareable, and recognized. In the midst of this, life with God faces a silent risk: losing the value of what is done in secret. What should be the foundation of our faith—intimacy with the Father—is often replaced by a spirituality that is visible, yet empty. Jesus taught us a completely different path—a path where what is done in secret is not optional, but essential. Where It all begins “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen…” Matthew 6:6 A true life with God is not born in public, but in secret. It is there, away from human eyes, that the relationship is built, the heart is aligned, and faith becomes real. Jesus was not only teaching about prayer, but about priorities. What we do in secret reveals where our heart truly is. When that place loses value, faith begins to grow shallow, and everything starts to feel difficult. Without secrecy, there is no depth. Without intimacy, there is no real transformation. Public expressions may impress, but it is the secret place that sustains. I know there are days when […]

New beginnings

Ruth’s story doesn’t belong only to the past; it resonates deeply today. In a world marked by loss, unexpected changes, and difficult new beginnings, her journey reveals that God continues to write stories of redemption amidst pain. Ruth didn’t have an easy life. She faced grief, uncertainty, and displacement. Yet, her faith, her choices, and her perseverance led her to experience something far greater than she could have imagined. And this also speaks directly to us today. In the midst of pain “But Ruth said, ‘Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.’” Ruth 1:16 Ruth loses everything that, humanly speaking, gave stability to her life. A widow, a foreigner, and without guarantees, she decides not to turn back. Ruth’s choice to stay with Naomi reveals a faith that doesn’t depend on comfort. Today, many people face similar losses—emotional, familial, professional. In the midst of all this, the decision to remain steadfast in God continues to be an act of faith. It’s not about having answers, but about choosing to trust even […]

A sound that only comes from us

All of creation reveals the glory of God. The sky, the sea, the mountains, and even the wind express, in their own way, who He is. There is a constant praise happening all around us, often imperceptible to our ears because it is so commonplace in our daily lives, yet fully known by God. Yet, there is something unique about human worship. There is a sound, a surrender, an awareness that only we, as His children, can offer. Nature praises for what it was created to be. We worship because we know who created us, and that changes everything. Creation glorifies “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” Psalm 19:1 Nature lives in constant witness to the greatness of the Creator. The sun rises and sets in perfect order, the seas obey their limits, and all creation responds to the voice of God without question. Psalm 148 invites the sun, the moon, the stars, and all the earth to praise the Lord. This praise does not depend on choice, feeling, or circumstance. Creation fulfills its purpose automatically, reflecting God’s majesty simply by existing. It doesn’t need to understand in order to obey; it simply responds […]

Prayer: Death that gives birth to life

God, I thank You because You do not merely allow me to dream about what is great, but You call me to live what is Eternal. I am taught every day that each new spiritual step requires the death of my own “self,” of my plans, desires, and will, so that Your will may flourish in me. Give me the courage to surrender completely, knowing that only in You do I find true life. Help me understand that the journey with You is not designed to be comfortable, but to be transformative. I do not want to measure my value by what I achieve or control; I want my surrender to be driven by the pursuit of a deeper and deeper relationship with You. May I not fear the “deaths” You allow—open my eyes to see them as doors leading to the purpose prepared for me by Your hands. When the world leads me to see the process of surrender as frustration or abandonment, remind my heart that You do not want to leave me empty-handed, but to create space in my hands to receive what is greater and Eternal, filling me continuously. Turn my struggles into faith, my surrender […]

Steps of death and life

The journey with God is not a ladder of personal achievements, but an altar of daily surrender. Every new spiritual level, every greater responsibility, and every deeper purpose require something from us: surrender. In the Kingdom of God, growth does not mean accumulating, but emptying. There is a truth we often avoid: every spiritual step carries a death. The death of pride, of personal plans, of human expectations, and often of what we insist on calling a “dream.” But it is precisely in this place—the death of our “self”—that we find true life. God never calls us to lose, but to exchange. He invites us to surrender what is limited in order to receive what is Eternal. The more we pour out at His feet, the more room we create for Him to live in us. Death that gives birth to life “Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” John 12:24 Jesus made it clear that the principle of the Kingdom is death that produces life. The seed must be buried and seemingly “lost” in order to bear […]

On your knees

We live in a generation that desires quick results, supernatural experiences, and remarkable stories to tell. We want miracles, open doors, and powerful testimonies. But often, we are not willing to go through the process that produces them. In the Kingdom of God, our knees take us farther than our feet. The spiritual life is not sustained by haste, but by dependence. It is not about chasing opportunities, but about pouring ourselves out in His presence. Before great public victories, there are secret encounters with God. And it is there, in the place of prayer, that everything begins to be transformed. The pressure that produces oil “Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him.” Psalm 126:5–6 “Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed” (James 5:16). The prayer of the righteous is powerful because it is born from surrender. We want oil, but we forget that oil is only produced when the olive is pressed. A testimony is not born from comfort, but from process. In 2 Kings 4, the […]

Return to the present

“By faith Abraham, when called, obeyed and went to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, even though he did not know where he was going.” Hebrews 11:8 We live in a generation that wants explanations before obedience. We want clarity, guarantees, and security before taking any step. But in the Kingdom of God, the path is often the opposite: first we obey, then we understand. The space between obeying today and God explaining later is called faith. Faith does not eliminate questions, but it teaches us to walk even while they remain. We will not always have all the answers before acting, but we will have enough direction for the next step. God allows certain uncertainties not to confuse us, but to form us. Obedience without immediate explanation builds trust. When we learn to trust God’s character, even without understanding His ways, our faith stops being circumstantial and becomes relational. Do not measure the future “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34 A common mistake, in moments when we do not have clear or specific answers, is trying to calculate future challenges […]

The call continues

The special dates on the Christian calendar invite us to reflection, fellowship, and reunion with God. End-of-year services and messages about new beginnings warm the heart and renew hope. However, when the calendar turns and January arrives with its routine, God’s call must not lose its voice in our lives. Faith is not seasonal, and the Kingdom does not operate according to commemorative dates. Following Christ is a daily commitment that goes beyond emotional moments and reaches into the ordinary flow of life. The same God who spoke during a special service continues to speak on an ordinary Monday. The call does not end when the celebrations end; it continues to be lived out with consistency. Expiration date “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus ends His earthly ministry with the clear command to “go.” There is no deadline, no specific season, and no requirement for a favorable emotional state. The Great Commission is not limited to spiritually intense […]

The silence of the birth

The silence of the birth

“Thus says the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel: ‘In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.’” Isaiah 30:15 Before the birth of Jesus, the world went through about four hundred years of prophetic silence. From the last announcement in Malachi until the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, there were no records of new direct revelations from God. For many, this silence could be interpreted as absence, but in truth, it was part of a plan carefully carried out by the Lord. God’s silence is not empty, nor does it mean abandonment. It carries intention, preparation, and alignment. While there was no prophetic voice, God was arranging times, people, cultures, and circumstances for the greatest event in history: the incarnation of the Son. The same happens with us. There are seasons when God seems silent, but that does not mean He has stopped working. Silence precedes spiritual births, maturity, and the fulfillment of promises. Not every silence is a “no”; often, it is simply a “not yet.” A guarded promise “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and dreadful day of the […]

Purpose in the desert

Purpose in the desert

The desert is not a place of abandonment, but of revelation. It is in silence, in lack, and in uncertainty that God works most deeply within us. Every great man and woman in the Bible walked through deserts as preparation, not punishment. The desert is the stage where character is shaped and purpose is revealed through refined faith. The journey “Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands.“ Deuteronomy 8:2 The people of Israel believed the desert was a place of punishment, but God used it as a school. For forty years, the Lord taught His people to depend on Him daily (through the manna, the cloud, and the water flowing from the rock). The desert is the season when God removes our human supports and invites us to rely solely on His provision. It is difficult to understand purpose while still walking through the hot sand and silent sky. Our pain is never wasted; He turns every difficulty into a teaching tool. In the desert, He teaches us to hear His voice, […]

Prayer: Eternally healed

Father, thank You for being the God who heals—who transforms us in both visible and invisible ways. Even when physical healing doesn’t come, You are present, working in the unseen. Help me to recognize that Your work goes beyond the flesh—that healing is also divine and spiritual. Even in the face of death or loss, You are the true victory. Teach me to trust in the promise of eternal life with You. Even when we are not healed in this life, we receive eternal healing by Your side. When it is Your will, heal us here and extend our days on earth with health—but help my heart understand that even when we don’t see healing with human eyes, we have already gained eternal life in You. May I learn from Jesus and experience the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help me live in the hope of the healing that is already taking place, even when I cannot see it. May I not fix my eyes on things happening the way I desire, but on who You are—a Father who cares and pours out His grace. Let each day of my life on earth be marked by faith, not by doubt […]

Prayer: Empowered for the calling

Father, thank You for calling me from the womb and adopting me as Your beloved child. May I not be intimidated by the size of the mission You have placed in my hands, because I know I will not walk this path alone. Strengthen me to say “yes” with courage, knowing that the calling does not depend on my strength, but on Your presence within me. When I feel inadequate or afraid of not being enough, remind my heart that You choose me daily so that Your glory may be revealed through my weakness—and I choose to follow You. May I live in the faith that the purpose of the calling is to see Your power working where my strength cannot reach, so that I remain dependent on You and spread Your love to others, blooming for Your Kingdom. The grace that sustains me is greater than any challenge. God, may Your seal rest upon me, just as Your Spirit rested upon David even before he ascended the throne. Empower me to remain faithful in the deserts, to endure the battles, and to glorify You with all my heart, without seeking human recognition. Teach me to pursue anointing more than […]

My calling is too big!

My calling is too big!

There are moments when God’s calling seems too great for us to carry. We look at our limitations, insecurities, and weaknesses and think, “Lord, did You choose the wrong person?” But what we need to understand is that the calling never depends on our natural ability, but on God’s presence within us. He never makes mistakes and doesn’t choose us because we are strong, but to make us strong in Him. The courage in saying “yes” “Ah, Sovereign Lord! I do not know how to speak; I am too young.” Jeremiah 1:6 Jeremiah felt afraid when God called him—just like Moses before Pharaoh and Gideon in the middle of the battle. They all saw themselves as small before the greatness of the mission, but God always responded in the same way: “I will be with you.” The calling is not a burden for those who trust in God’s presence; it is an invitation to experience His power working through our weakness. The calling is perfectly sized for God to be glorified, and He places it in the hands of those He equips. The Lord never sends us to do something we can fulfill on our own, because the purpose is […]

Prayer: God works through “yes”

Father, thank You that Your strength does not depend on mine, but that through my “yes,” You strengthen me to keep going. Thank You for teaching me each day that obedience is not following only when everything seems right, but believing and acting even before seeing. May I have the courage to obey Your commandments, even when my understanding fails, trusting that in every obedient step lies the seed of a miracle. Jesus asked the servants to fill the jars with water—and they witnessed a miracle. He asked Peter to cast his nets again after catching nothing all night—and it became the greatest catch of his life! So often, the miracle stands beside the act of faith, the obedient step, even when the situation appears impossible. Lord, do not let my faith be made of mere words or comfortable beliefs. Awaken in me a burning desire to manifest Your Kingdom through obedience, even when it costs me everything. Help me see that the true miracle is not only about visible results, but about the inner transformation that happens when I choose to trust You. May my life be marked by gestures of faith—by steady, daily actions in the details—that reveal […]

Miracle in obedience

Miracle in obedience

Obedience is a key that opens doors human strength could never move. Many times, we wait to see the miracle before obeying—but God calls us to obey before seeing. In John 2:5, at the wedding in Cana, Mary said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you”. That simple instruction preceded Jesus’ first miracle—the transformation of water into wine. The miracle didn’t begin when the wine appeared, but when someone decided to obey. A Step Directed “Simon answered, ‘Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because You say so, I will let down the nets.’” Luke 5:5 To obey is to acknowledge that God knows what He’s doing, even when we don’t understand the path. Peter experienced this when Jesus asked him to cast the nets again after a long, fruitless night. With a single act of faith, the impossible happened—the fish came, the boat overflowed, and Peter’s heart was transformed. Many times, the miracle we’ve been asking for is on the other side of simple obedience—a single step guided by God. The Kingdom of God moves by faith, and true faith is expressed through practice—through the daily “yes” we give to God without hesitation or […]

Did God not hear me?

Praying doesn’t always mean seeing circumstances change before our eyes. Being removed from certain situations is often not God’s plan. Sometimes the circumstances remain the same, yet something deep happens within us. If we look closely, with open and sensitive hearts, we’ll see that God, in His infinite wisdom, may not remove the problem—but instead shape us through it. Prayer is not only a key that moves heaven but also an instrument that aligns our heart with the Father’s. Transforming the inner self “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10 Many times, we approach prayer as a means for external change, hoping God will fix what troubles us. But just as David understood, the true power of prayer lies in transforming what’s inside. When we kneel, open our hearts, and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal what needs healing, what needs to die, and what needs to grow, real transformation begins. We must tell God our desires, dreams, and plans—not just to receive or make Him follow our steps, but to expose ourselves to His presence and allow Him to touch what’s hidden, reshaping our hearts so that we follow […]

Prayer: Eternal life with Christ

Father, thank You for sending us the resurrection and the life. Even in the face of death, You offer the promise of eternal life. In You there is a living hope, a new existence beyond this earthly life. Lift up my understanding so I may believe this truth with all my being. When Your Son rose again, You showed that sin and the grave have no power before You. Your victory is the foundation of my faith, and through Your resurrection I have the assurance that whoever believes in You, though they die, will live. May this certainty be firmly established in my heart, unshakable and strong. Holy Spirit, help me to live in the hope of eternity, even when days are dark. May I worship You through tears, in pain, in joy, and in achievement. Remind me always of the promise that this life is not the end. Teach me to place less value on fleeting moments and to fix my eyes more intently on eternity with Christ, knowing that my body, though fragile, will be transformed and perfected. Strengthen my faith so that I may also wait for You. May this hope move me, not into passive faith, […]

Prayer: Seeking God’s “No”

Father, I don’t always understand Your ways. But I am grateful because, even when I feel like I can’t go on, You continue to care for me. May I understand that Your true care sometimes includes setting “limits” in my life. Not to hurt me, but to protect me, shape me, and teach me about dependence. When I face difficulties that seem beyond my strength, when I ask You to remove afflictions and yet they remain, help me remember that Your grace is sufficient for me. May I not feel abandoned, but secure in the truth that You are strengthening me and perfecting my faith in the place of my weakness. May Your grace be my foundation, even in silence and trial. May I not see my limits as failures, but as spaces where I can experience more of You. Give me patience to wait, courage to remain faithful, and wisdom not to rush ahead, trusting in the right time You have prepared for me. I know You will never stop loving me or working in my life. I trust that You are orchestrating something greater. I want to depend completely on You and on Your care. I don’t want […]

The limit of God’s care

We don’t always understand God’s ways, especially when He doesn’t respond as we would like or allows certain situations to remain in our lives. But Scripture teaches us that God’s “enough” is not a sign of abandonment, but rather a demonstration of His care and the sufficiency of His grace. Grace That Sustains “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’” 2 Corinthians 12:9 The apostle Paul asked three times for God to remove the “thorn in the flesh,” but the answer he received was a loving “no.” That “no” was not rejection, but teaching. God’s grace did not remove the pain but empowered Paul to endure it and even to boast in his weakness, for it was there that the power of Christ was fully revealed. The same happens with us. Many times, we ask God to take away our difficulties, but He answers: “My grace is sufficient.” Not because He ignores our pain, but because He wants us to experience a strength that does not come from us, but from Him. It is in that place that we learn deep dependence and trust. God’s response teaches us […]

Prayer: Walking in the presence

Lord, I want to seek Your face more, not just Your hand. May my heart not be satisfied with visible blessings or miracles, but long for intimacy with You. May this pursuit be my priority and my greatest treasure.Forgive me for so many times murmuring or desiring only earthly provisions, failing to see Your presence—which is the only thing that truly matters. How often I complain, discontent, even while You care for me constantly! Teach me to trust in Your faithfulness in seasons without visible provision, remembering that Your presence sustains above all else. I want to rejoice fully in You, even when circumstances are not as I imagined. May my faith not depend on what I see, but on Who You are: Constant, Perfect, and Good, even in difficult times.Father, guide me to seek You always, continually. May I not settle for temporary moments, but live in daily worship, in authentic praise and sincere surrender, building a relationship with You that lasts for eternity. May my prayers, my moments of silence, and my devotion be the expression of this constant pursuit. When I seek Your face, I discover there is no greater gift than Your presence, and my heart […]

Seeking the face

Seeking the face

“My heart says of You, ‘Seek his face!’. Your face, Lord, I will seek.” Psalm 27:8 Seeking God is the most precious calling for the Christian. However, many times we run the risk of seeking only what He can give us, and not Who He is. We focus on His blessings rather than His presence. The hand or the face? “In the desert the whole community grumbled against Moses and Aaron. The Israelites said to them, ‘If only we had died by the Lord’s hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death!’” Exodus 16:2–3 The “hand of God” is often associated with His works, provisions, and miracles. The “face of God,” however, points to intimacy, presence, and communion. Seeking only the hand can turn us into utilitarian Christians, interested in what God does, rather than in Who He is. Israel experienced this danger in the desert. God parted the sea, sent manna, water, and protection, yet the people constantly complained and distanced themselves from His presence. This shows that miracles do not sustain faith, but intimacy […]

Prayer: Christ in every step

Father, I know that many times I underestimate the power of the small choices in my life. Help me to understand that every gesture, no matter how small it seems, can be an act of holiness when done with the intention of honoring You and following in Your steps. May my life not be guided by automatic routine, but by a vigilant heart, ready to reflect Your presence in words, actions, and thoughts each day. Fill me with discernment to choose wisely in the simplest moments: in the way I treat, forgive, act, and speak with others. In how I use my time and in what I seek in my daily routine. Teach me to act like Jesus and to have authority to act in His name in everything I do—transforming the ordinary into an encounter with Him and making my life an expression of gratitude and praise to the Lord. You are my perfect example—may I live with Your love pulsing in my heart and Your light shining through my actions. Even in daily decisions, may I reflect Your character and contribute to building up Your Kingdom. May every choice reveal that I follow the Way, the Truth, and […]

The christian and the small choices

The Christian life is not built only on great moments, but on the small daily choices that reflect who we are in Christ. God calls us to live in holiness not only on Sundays, in church services, or on special occasions, but also in the simple things: in the way we speak, act, and decide. It is in the seemingly small choices that we reveal whether our life is being guided by ourselves or by the Holy Spirit. Holiness in everyday life “But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.’” 1 Peter 1:15-16 Holiness is not limited to moments of prayer or worship. It is manifested in how we treat people, how we manage our time, how we handle our words and thoughts. Every choice, no matter how small it seems, carries the responsibility of revealing who is guiding our life. Choosing to forgive, even when it is not easy; deciding to speak the truth instead of lying; choosing kindness when we could be indifferent. These gestures shape a holy heart and demonstrate that the Holy Spirit is in control of our […]
