We graduated from the Google Play Apps Accelerator 2026

We believe that technology and faith can walk hand in hand. This conviction has driven us since the very first day of the JFA Bible, and over the past few months it has led us to experience one of the most remarkable chapters in our history: we graduated with our new Bible AI app as part of the first global cohort of the Google Play Apps Accelerator 2026. We want to share with you not only the outcome, but also the behind-the-scenes journey of everything that happened. The invitation that changed our year At the end of 2025, Google launched the first edition of the Google Play Apps Accelerator, a pioneering global program that selected only 38 high-potential apps from around the world. Among them, only two were Brazilian, and Bible AI was one of them. We received the news with a mix of joy and gratitude. 12 weeks of the program During twelve intensive weeks, we immersed ourselves in masterclasses led by leaders in the global tech industry, one-on-one mentoring sessions covering everything from technical scalability to leadership, and exclusive conversations with experts from Google and some of the world’s largest technology companies. Every session helped us think bigger, […]

Prayer: Running from religious fear

In the previous text, we talked a little about religious OCD and how it takes our focus away from what Christ truly expects from us. Today, I want to invite you to pray with me about this subject, so that we may feel free in the Father’s presence, seeking Him with love, gratitude, and true peace. You do not need to pray exactly as I will write here. Open your heart genuinely to God. But it will be a pleasure to accompany you in this moment of prayer and seeking. Prayer Father, I know that many times my mind is filled with fear, guilt, and thoughts that steal the peace of my faith. I know that You do not want me to live imprisoned by spiritual anxiety, constantly trying to earn a love that was already given to me on the cross. Teach me to rest in You and to remember that Your love is not sustained by my performance, but by Your infinite grace. When intrusive thoughts come, when the fear of condemnation tries to dominate my heart, and when I feel spiritually overwhelmed, help me remember Your truth. Your Word says that I was not given a spirit […]

The Gospel is not a patch

The Gospel is not a patch

The coming of Jesus was a turning point in human history. His message was not merely an improvement of the existing religious system, nor simply an adjustment to human traditions. The Gospel brought something completely new: a new covenant, a new way, and a new life for those who believe. Many times we try to live this newness while keeping old structures within us. We want to experience the grace of God, but without letting go of patterns, thoughts, and habits that belong to the past. However, Jesus made it clear that the Gospel is not a patch on an old life, but a complete and true transformation, through a deep pursuit of Him. The mew patch and the old garment “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.” Matthew 9:16–17 The illustration used in Matthew 9 shows that the message of the Kingdom […]

Power to reveal

“Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals.“ Revelation 5:1 Untying the Seals “Then one of the elders said to me, ‘Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.” Revelation 5:5 The expression “breaking the seals” appears in the book of Revelation, chapters 5 and 6. John has a heavenly vision where he sees a scroll sealed with seven seals in the hands of God. This scroll represents God’s decrees, His purposes, and His final plan for humanity and the history of salvation. But no one in heaven, on earth, or under the earth was found worthy to open the scroll or break its seals. This scene creates a moment of tension, and John begins to weep as he realizes that no one was worthy to open the scroll. But then comes the great hope: the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, is revealed as the only one worthy to break these seals, holding power over these revelations. This shows us that only Jesus has authority over humanity’s destiny […]

Prayer: Incessant Search

Beloved Father, we begin this new year with hearts eager to seek You more deeply and consistently. We acknowledge that all we have and are comes from You. Therefore, we lay our lives before Your altar, asking You to guide each step and make our greatest desire to be in Your presence every day, living according to Your will. Help us to prioritize time with You and make Your Word the light that directs our paths. Lord, we recognize that the world offers many distractions, but we choose to seek You above all else. Grant us the strength and perseverance to open the Scriptures daily and allow them to transform our minds and hearts. May we find comfort, guidance, and courage through meditating on Your truth, equipping us to face the challenges this new year may bring. Renew within us a willing and committed spirit to follow You with faith. Teach us to live in dependence on You, trusting that Your plans are perfect. Throughout this year, may we grow in love, grace, and discernment, reflecting Your light to those around us. New year… the whole bible!

The Word is a Source of Life and Wisdom. Reading the Bible daily is essential for maintaining a healthy spiritual life. Jesus declared: “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4). Just as we need physical food for the body, the Word of God is the spiritual nourishment that sustains the soul, offering guidance, comfort, and renewal. Spiritual Growth “Your commands are always with me and make me wiser than my enemies. I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes.” Psalm 119:98-99 The Word provides wisdom to face daily challenges. By meditating on the Scriptures, we gain discernment and understanding to make decisions aligned with God’s will. Daily Bible reading also helps us grow spiritually. As the apostle Paul wrote: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). Consistency in reading shapes us into the image of Christ, correcting our paths and equipping us for good works. Not every situation we face is explicitly described in the Bible. But by delving into and truly understanding the Word, we become equipped for whatever […]

Say yes, because it is God who enables you!

Many times we are afraid of not feeling up to the positions and challenges given to us, we forget who is the God who enables us and thinking about this, today I want to bring in this text biblical truths about our identity and about the One we believe in! When the Lord called Moses he immediately thought of five reasons to say no and we also sometimes raise these same points as a reason to give up which are described in Exodus 3 through 4. 1. “Who am I?” Moses thought that God had chosen the wrong person, because he did not feel able to accomplish what was asked of him. It was too much responsibility! Have you ever felt this way? Have you ever thought about giving up something because you thought you couldn’t do it? Then here is God’s answer to that thought: “I will be with you” (Exodus 3.11). No matter who you are, He has chosen you and will be with you. 2. “Who are you?” Moses realized that he didn’t know God well enough to introduce him to the people, after all God is so great, tremendous and magnificent. How to describe Him? Thoughts […]

Is your heart a fertile soil?

In today’s reflection I want to remember the parable of the sower found in Matthew 13, in this passage Jesus speaks to a crowd in parables and then talks about the fertile soil which is an analogy to our heart: 3 Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Matthew 13:3-8 Explanation of the Parable of the Sower The Lord Jesus himself explained the meaning of the Parable of the Sower to his disciples. Jesus explained that when someone hears the message of the kingdom but doesn’t understand, the evil one comes and snatches away what […]

The importance of constancy in your life

The importance of constancy in your life

How important it is to stand firm, to be constant in what we do. We have been living in liquid times, where the word constancy has been losing its meaning, however, the word of God instructs us to be constant. In 1 Corinthians 15:58, it is written: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast and constant, always abundant in the work of the Lord, knowing that your work is not vain in the Lord. Unfortunately, what we have seen out there is exactly the opposite and as a result we have the increase of divorces, constant changes of employment, people giving up on their dreams, and furthermore, many giving up on preaching the gospel. But as we have seen, the words of the apostle Paul exhort us to take a counter-cultural attitude and be firm, just like our God. Without constancy we are not able to build anything, nor to get anywhere. Whoever has tried to learn an instrument knows very well how important daily study is for progress and with our faith, it is no different, we need constantly to be nourished by the word, to be in prayer and to talk about God’s love so that more people can […]

Prayer: Prepared for the return

Since I can remember, most people talk about the return of Christ in a frightening way, filled with fear. I have reverence for that day, but the fear has ceased to be a part of my heart when I truly understood that it’s just anticipation for His return. I long at every moment for the time when He will come, so I can meet Him and know Him face to face. The only thing that scares me about this is my lack of action on the matter. I’m afraid that my lack of attention will increase and I will become distracted, forgetting Jesus’ return. Now that can fill my head with thoughts I’m afraid of. Today I want to pray with you about this, about turning our attention and goals to His return. About preparing ourselves and having an open and transformed heart for this long-awaited arrival. We need to act at all times for the return of the Son. You don’t need to pray exactly as I’m going to say here. I know that everyone has their own way of talking to the Father and it is important that we individually seek intimacy with Him. Therefore, feel comfortable talking […]

Prayer: Decoding messages

In the previous text I brought you a phrase that appeared several times in some dreams I had. Today I want to use this space to pray for clarity. Just as I sought answers from God, I want to pray that He gives us an open heart to receive and understand the messages He has to give us. Furthermore, I would also like to ask for patience in the process, so that we respect the right time for each step along the way. You don’t need to pray exactly as I’m going to say here. I know that everyone has their own way of talking to the Father and it is important to have our intimacy with Him. Feel comfortable talking to the Lord in your own way. But if you want, I will be happy to accompany you in this prayer. Prayer “Father, thank you for always speaking to me, for guiding me and comforting me with Your sweet voice. Make my ears attentive to everything You want to tell me. Give me courage and boldness to follow everything You tell me and wisdom to understand and respect each process. I don’t want to skip steps, God. I don’t […]

How does the glory reveal itself?

Anyone who has never tried to take control out of God’s hands should throw the first stone… I often thought that my way was better and closed my ears to what He had to say to me. I closed my eyes to His ways and followed a direction that I invented and judged to be sensible. In some moments when I decided for myself and for myself, everything worked out right away. But then I saw everything falling apart, becoming almost impossible to hold. He’s not like us “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18 If miracles happened as we imagine and according to our dynamics of faith, those miracles we see in the Bible would be different and much less impactful. This is because often, in our prayers, we plead for deliverance, and not for more structure and strength to face a given situation. But the glory of God is revealed in the midst of trials. We would not recognize the Father’s grace if it were equal to our thoughts and actions. We would easily think that a certain event occurred due to our strength […]

There is life in pain!

In churches and in the Christian environment, one of the most discussed topics is the death of Christ, that is, His sacrifice. It’s been a while since I heard a preaching in which the pastor compared Jesus’ death to a woman’s labor. This sermon left a deep impression on me and I would like to share some insights with you. The gestation “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 When a woman is pregnant, there is the entire waiting period of pregnancy, the 9 months, which is a necessary preparation time. It’s no use wanting it to take less or more time, the body has a determined time to generate and be generated. From the birth of Jesus to the day of His death, there was a time of 33 years. During all these years, He knew the promise. He knew what must be done, that he would die for all of us. But even though He had the knowledge of what would happen, the time of waiting and preparation was essential and indispensable. He needed to walk among us, teach the word in a tangible way. Operate miracles and wonders. His […]

Where does forgiveness live

Where does forgiveness live

I want to talk to you today about the power of forgiveness and reconciliation. That’s how God demonstrated on the cross how he loves us. He calls us to act in this way towards one another as well. What have you valued? “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” Matthew 6:14 In this passage from Matthew 6 Jesus teaches us about the importance of releasing forgiveness. He underscores in that sentence how the forgiveness we offer others is linked to the forgiveness we receive from Him. Forgiveness shouldn’t be a choice for us, it should already be one of our foundations. When we offer forgiveness we can experience the fullness of the Father’s forgiveness. We are not perfect, we all make mistakes at some point. We are often inflexible. When we demand of the people around us that they be perfect, we seem to erase from our minds the fact that we fail too. To forgive is to say that we value the relationship and communion more than the pain and anguish that exist in pride. Beloved in failure “Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just […]

Prayer: Where will I go?

It’s been a while since we’ve had a prayer moment around here, hasn’t it? Prayer is an opportunity to show our feelings to God and for God. We can use these moments to surrender our worship to Him, to learn in practice to trust, rest and say with our mouths how we want Him in every detail of our lives. I don’t want to bring a specific topic to pray together today, but I want to use this space to pray for His work in our lives. Feel free to pray in your own words as you present your needs and requests before the Lord. Or if you prefer you can accompany me. It will be a pleasure to have this moment together. PRAYER Lord, at this moment we cry out for Your complete act in our lives. We are human and constantly have a need to grab control. The feeling that everything is going according to our wishes and that our lives are going as planned gives us the false feeling that everything is going well. But with our failing hands everything can fall apart at any moment. Remind us at all times how we need to let go […]

Action or reaction?

Action or reaction?

When we know God, He reveals to us our identity, His ways and His dreams. That way, it becomes much easier for us to surrender control into His hands. He is our origin “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them. Male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:27 When we want to know more about a fish, we need to dive into the sea and understand more about how the sea works. Just studying the fish won’t tell us much. It’s like that in our lives too. If we want to know more about ourselves, we need to delve into God first and in Him we will find answers. For if we dive within ourselves to find ourselves, we will lose ourselves more and more. We don’t have the answers inside us, they come from our Creator. Our paths and the steps we take should not be based on our own experiences, but on our origin. That origin is God. It was in Him that we were born even before we came into the world and it is in Him that we exist. Nothing stops Him “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in […]

The Cycles of Life

The Cycles of Life

It’s interesting to think about how our life is made of cycles. People come, people go, situations come and situations go. Hardly anything that comes stays forever. There are exceptions, but often that’s not how it works. If you say you’ve never gone through a cycle closure in your entire life, I’m sure I’ll find it very strange. Chapters I love to read and even more to write. I like to think of our lives as a book. At first, for us it is blank, but for God (the Author) it is filled with stories, situations, twists and much more, from our first little steps to the biggest decisions. God sees from the moment we arrive in this world, still in our mothers’ wombs. Closing cycles can often be a very tense chapter in life. Situations or other characters can leave the protagonist (me or you) confused and make him question: “why am I living this?” I was once talking to a friend, venting about a bunch of things that were going on. She looked deep into my eyes and said: “you are in despair because everything got out of your control, but that is normal, it is part of […]

Prayer: Cleanse me Lord

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:9 We are human beings, full of sins. The Word itself says that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23). We are in need of the Lord’s forgiveness. And for that we need to repent. Today, I invite you to pray with me, asking the Lord to purify our hearts from any and all sins. Remembering that you don’t need to pray exactly as I wrote here, because everyone has their own way of talking to the Father. But if you want, I’ll be happy to accompany you. Prayer “Lord, my God and Father, I thank you for this day, Thank you for the chance to pour myself out in Your presence and for Your Amazing Grace that tore the veil that used to separate us. Father, I ask forgiveness for my sins, all those that I have committed. Forgive me, for I am flawed and need correction. Cleanse my heart, purifying it of all the evil present in it and help me to become someone better. That every […]

Ecclesiastes and Vanity

During the month of March, some friends and I set out to read the book of Proverbs. We liked it so much that we decided to continue and started Ecclesiastes. In just one chapter, we all felt impacted. Everything is Vanity The “Preacher” begins in the first few verses by saying: “Absolute futility, says the Teacher. Absolute futility. Everything is futile. What does a person gain for all his efforts that he labors at under the sun?” – Ecclesiastes 1:2-3 He basically talks about how we get tired day after day for fleeting things. One day this world will end, Jesus will return and what will we take? Nothing. I’m not saying don’t go after a good and comfortable life, but that’s not all. So many people live their lives in pursuit of riches and goals that will have no value in Eternity. The Eternal Sameness The “Preacher” then continues and the title my Bible gives to the passage from verses 4 to 11 is “The Eternal Sameness”. “All things are wearisome, more than anyone can say. The eye is not satisfied by seeing or the ear filled with hearing. What has been is what will be, and what has […]

Friends that are like brothers

During 2022 and early 2023 I have experienced what in the Bible is called “friend who sticks closer than a brother” in Proverbs 18:24. And I had never understood exactly what that was like. I mean, are these friends really closer than my brother? How do I find a friend like that? There were always questions that hovered in my head. In the last two years I started to understand better. How is a friend closer than a sibling? Do you know that friend you can just count on for everything? That’s the kind of friend that is like a brother. A friend who is there to listen, advise, help in moments of anguish, but I believe that mainly, the one who takes you closer to Jesus. I found friends who truly pray for me, just as I pray for them. This is not just any friendship. It was in a service when we took each other’s hands, formed a circle and started to pray, that I began to see how healthy and wonderful it was to be with them. If you’ve already met a friend or a few friends of this type, maybe when it happened you weren’t even expecting […]

It’s not you

These times I heard a song that had the following phrase “And if my voice fails, You sing for me”. That single sentence, repeated only once, in a song lasting almost 7 minutes spoke to me a lot. Then I found out that the singer had gone through a surgery on her vocal cords and, even after the surgery, she would be unable to sing. During that time she wrote this song and added this line to the lyrics. Today she is fine and is singing again. It was a miracle from God in her life. Still, it wasn’t her story that spoke to me, but the snippet of the song. If you fail, do you continue? Think about what you do. Do you preach? Play? Sing? Teach? If something happens and you can’t do it anymore, what will it be like? What really motivates you to keep going? That’s exactly what God spoke to me. In my church I work in communication, recording, editing and writing, just like I do here on Bible Offline team. And the Lord asked me why I keep doing these things and that got me thinking. I write, record, edit, take pictures, but simply […]

A Faith according to the Bible

A Faith according to the Bible

In today’s text I would like to talk about FAITH. My heart’s desire is that my confidence in God’s increases more and more so that I reach a truly mature faith, according to the truth of the Word of God. I say according to the Word of God because there are many misconceptions about what Faith is. For some it consists of any form of spirituality. Recurrently we hear someone say “he is a person of faith” simply because that person has some religion. For others, having faith is directly linked to hoping that something good will always happen, as a kind of constant optimism in relation to health, wealth and happiness. Others regard faith as something completely dissociated from reason and intellect. But how does the Bible define faith? Chapter 11 of the book of Hebrews is one of the most cited when the subject is FAITH, as it lists people from the Bible who stood out for being great examples of conviction in the promises of God. This chapter is also known as the “gallery of the heroes of faith”. But before listing them, the first verses bring just a definition: Now faith is confidence in what we […]

Attracted by the Presence

I wasn’t born in a Christian home, quite the contrary. Whenever I tell our testimony, I like to say that we didn’t meet Jesus, He found us, or rather, He attracted us to Himself. So many times we have the feeling that we are going after Him, but the truth is that it is very difficult for you to look at a church, a bible or whatever it is and say “I found Jesus”. He finds us, he attracts us and when we realize it, we can say “I found what I needed”, not because we looked for it, but because He called us. Moses and the Burning Bush “Meanwhile, Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. Then the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire within a bush. As Moses looked, he saw that the bush was on fire but was not consumed.” – Exodus 3:1-2 What was going on in this situation? Well, the title my bible gives to this text is “God Speaks to Moses” which if […]
