
Why “me”?
We often go through delicate situations in the most diverse areas of our life and then we ask ourselves: “Why me?”, And today I would like to reflect with you on this topic. We are experiencing many adversities because we are in a world fallen by sin and even certain diseases exist due to the misrepresentation of the human being, but I would also like to remind you that we have gone through some difficulties for the glory of God to manifest. The blind “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. John 9: 3 (NIV) In John 9, the story is told of when Jesus gives physical and spiritual light to a blind man, and in this passage his disciples ask if his parents or that man – who was blind from birth – would have sinned for him to be born with that disability, but Christ soon corrects them, stating that neither the parents nor the son had sinned, but that young man had that condition for the works of God to be manifested in him.
