God is happy with your joy. Many times when we think of the Lord, we immediately think of the words of seriousness, fear and justice, in fact all this represents Him, but joy too!
Being in the presence of God means being happy. Think with me, have you ever been sad when praising the Lord and meditating on His word? We may even be saddened by the situations we are experiencing, but in that precious moment our heart finds comfort.
Where do you look for joy?
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4: 4-7
We live a decade where at all times we are bombarded, whether on television, on our smartphones or computers. Everywhere somebody is trying to sell us something: a product, an idea and even a lifestyle.
These things are presented to us as if they were the solution to our unhappiness, but in fact they can lead us to even a greater sadness. Fortunately, when we search for happiness in the right source – in God – we are completely satisfied, we find a stable and not a momentary joy.
The joy of the Lord is our strength
Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
Nehemiah 8:10
I understand this verse as follows: when we walk according to the will of God, we are strengthened by the joy of Him with our conduct and then we receive from Him a new strength to face whatever the adversity.
When we seek happiness in the things of the Lord, we feel a complete satisfaction, our hearts overflow with love, we speak words of blessing and joy shows on our faces, as it is written in Proverbs 15:13.
Joy comes in the morning
Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
Psalms 30:5
We go through adversity in our lives and it’s okay to cry, but we can’t forget that God has the solution and that He allows us to face some situations. Often we may not understand “why”, but the Lord knows “for what”.
Even Jesus was already saddened, in Matthew 26: 38-39 it is written: “Then he said to them, ‘My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me’.Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, ‘My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will’”.
It was not easy for Christ to face the cross, but he knew that pain would be necessary to fulfill the Father’s will. It may be that you are going through a difficult time in your life, but rest assured that God has not forgotten you, for He loves you and is taking care of every situation.
In conclusion …
God wants to do great things in your life, have no doubt about it, seek joy in Him and in everything that comes from Him, because however difficult the moment for every situation is, there is a purpose. Believe me, great things are to come!
God bless you!

Dear Nicole Leão,
Thank you so much for your blog. I have to be honest with you, but I have very difficulty with the thought that God would let us suffer because that’s what He wants. God is a God of love and goodness, why should God want let us suffer?
I understand that whit Jesus it had to be done to fulfill the profetie; but in our case, what does it mean? I am consciously that everybody suffer of something, but I think that illness and other inconveniences are often our responsibility and I think that such things also can comes from God’s enemy, Satan.
I’m sure that such evil thing are not God’s plan for us, but Satan wants us to believe it so.
I believe that this world are dominated by Satan and his demons; that explains all the misery and sorrow and other horrific things that happen in everyday life.
You know the Scriptures!!!! Thank you for telling the TRUTH.
You do not believe that God would let us suffer? That is part of being a child of God:
Blessed is the one whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.
Job 5:17
He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
Deuteronomy 8:3
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
1 Peter 2:21
For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.
2 Corinthians 1:5
I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.
Philippians 3:10
Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
Matthew 10:38
For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him.
Philippians 1:29
Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin.
1 Peter 4:1
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
Romans 8:35
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
2 Corinthians 4:17
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.
Psalm 34:19
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Romans 5:3-4
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
1 Peter 5:10
I liken the suffering to a parent/child relationship. To a child taking something away they really wanted could been seen as evil. To the parent taking that same thing away could be seen as a way for the child to have a different view of things. Things given also apply to this understanding.
When that child becomes a parent, themself, they have a better understanding of things their parents did to them and why, hopefully developing an appreciation for what their parents did.
This sort of relationship is what we have with God too. Sometimes things that happen to us we may interpret as evil but sometimes we are wrong. It is those times that God is the One who enacted it. God does not do evil but He does inflict pain in various ways for our growth and can use things that came from evil and turn them for our good.
For example, I lost my partner this year. We were together 16 years and had a son together; he is 15 now. Although the experience is very painful it is not evil in my eyes that we lost him when he was still younger or that my son is still a minor or that I am younger. It is God’s Will. He gives and He takes away…still blessed be the Name of the Lord.
He holds the keys to death and Hades (He defeated death when He died on the cross). God, alone, holds that power. He is perfect in His ways even if I do not understand them or see the path He has laid out for me.
These painful experiences are the most profound for learning. I have developed more compassion for others in their pain through these experiences I have had. I also understand comfort, peace and joy more profoundly by having experienced the opposites. Those who walk with God will say the same thing. Pain teaches love.
Great word & research may i add refining is a process & we can trust God, He is with us ALWAYS…Surrendering to our Father is culmination to His will in our life & refining has it’s PURPOSE … not to hurt but to strengthening! Preparation for His will in our lives & as a witness to others who are troubled in their journey but enables us to be empathetic & an encourager for them & in doing so helps us see healing with His will in it! He’s LISTENING and prospering in His BELOVED PURPOSE & will chastise those he loves for our benefit & His Glory, we are His creation, in His image… ALL this is evidence that GODS judgement is right,& as a result you will be counted worthy of the Kingdom of God,for which you are suffering. 2 Thessalonians 1:5 NIV WE ALL have room for bettering, learning/teaching & cultimating loving as Christ did🤗
Father doesn’t find happiness in the whiles of an idiot but allows us to seek Him for His directed path, joy & will… remember it’s a lack of knowledge that gives ignorance & exactly what causes wrong choices so until Christ teturns we will experience ignorance. But God works everything for our good, Thanks be to God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob & all believers! We are victorious, reach out & expose His LOVE OVERFLOWING👀🕆
Amen! God bless you. This is word in season. I really needed this. God bless you 🙏

Blessed be the name of our Hebrew Savior. People please beware that God has given you all BRAINS to figure things out
Don’t go along with traditions taught by men. Can anybody please help me find the book, that our Savior was reading from when He walked upon this Earth.
Can somebody help me find the book He was reading and teaching from.
And it’s not the King James Bible for sure because he didn’t teach out of the King James Bible. So,
One Million dollars to person who can locate and had it directly to me. I’m pretty sure nobody in this world will be able to find that exact book. Because our Savior did not read from a book, our Savior was taught by his father in Heaven.
And he spoke directly to us all stating (Lack of knowledge”: “of God” (Hosea 4:1), that is, lack of piety. Their ignorance was wilful, as the epithet, “My people,” implies; they ought to have known, having the opportunity, as the people of God).
So people let’s get it together check the history books.
You want to find out who the real Messiah is.
You will be in for a rude awakening.
(Luke then quotes our verse from Joel in Acts 17:17, In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people; your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams). I just want everybody to know that you can’t go along with everything that you read and hear and see. Check and see for yourselves please I beg you in the name of the most high God. And I wonder if you all even know them His real name. Guillermo Garcia
The book is a personal relationship with the Heavenly FATHER whom His BELOVED SON was seeking for answers & refers us to seek out in our daily walk…Only the Father can answer & is awaiting for our personal intervention as He submits to us freely in His BELOVED SONS EXAMPLES’🕆ASK & HE WILL
Well said. Shalom…
The book Jesus (Yeshua, Yehoshua…whatever you desire to call Him) read from was the Tanakh. In the New Testament you see this. The words from those scriptures were God-breathed. The peoples’ understanding of these words was another matter. Everything Jesus spoke can be seen in the Tanakh, with spiritual eyes.
The Father spoke to those from before Jesus came they just did not listen. Jesus listened and healed. Jesus bridged the gap we had with God. So, yes, Jesus did read a book that was, back then, a collection of scrolls from Genesis to Malachi. Now known as the Tanakh.
Bless your heart & ty for representing ✡🕆💓!!!
God Bless you my Love. May the Lord continue to bless you in all His way and in His knowledge and keep you straight in the right path Always. Love you so much my dear husband. 😘❤️🙏🏼😇
