Purify my heart!

Purify my heart!

I would like to make this prayer with you, to ask the Lord to cleanse our being and our hearts. We need to repent and purify our soul and heart!

Remembering that you do not need to repeat this prayer exactly as I am going to leave it here, because each of us has a specific way of communicating with the Lord. So if you want to accompany me, it will be a pleasure, but feel free to make it as you wish.

“Father, today was a difficult day. Several times I got distracted from Your ways and I gave way to temptation. Even though I knew I was going the wrong way, I decided to go on.

I got dirty with the impurities of sin, polluted my mind and ignored Your Spirit, I am dirty and I have neither the strength to get up nor the water to wash myself.

Therefore, I ask You, once again, to pour out Your water on me and extend Your mighty hand to me. Free me from myself, purify my heart, my mind and my soul from the things that I put in me.

I ask you, God: please, have mercy on me again. I know that I deserve nothing that it comes from you, but like David, I have sinned against you and ask you to take not thy Spirit from me nor turn Your back on me. I have need of Thee, of Thy grace of Thy forgiveness and Thy goodness.

Cleanse me again, because I was ignorant and, even carrying the Living Water, the purest Water that exists, I decided to launch myself into a manhole, in the filth of sin. I give myself up once more, so that You take control of everything and ask You to purify me.

It is in Your Holy name that I pray, asking for forgiveness for my sins and thanking You for Your abundant grace. Amen! “

Prayer of a mere sinner.

” Have mercy on me, O God, according to your lovingkindness; erase my transgressions, according to the multitude of your mercies. Wash me completely from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. Because I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. I have sinned against you, against you only, and have done what is evil in your eyes, that you may be justified when you speak and pure when you judge. Behold, in iniquity I was formed, and in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, you love the truth within, and in the hidden you make me know wisdom.

Purify me with hyssop, and I will be pure; wash me, and I will be more white than snow. Make me hear joy and joy, so that the bones you have broken will enjoy. Hide your face from my sins and erase all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit in me. Do not cast me out of your presence and take your Holy Spirit from me. Give me the joy of your salvation again and support me with a willing spirit.

Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will be converted to you. Deliver me from blood crimes, O God, God of my salvation, and my tongue will highly praise your righteousness. Open my lips, Lord, and my mouth will sing your praise. For you are not pleased with sacrifices, otherwise I would give them; you do not delight in burnt offerings. Sacrifices for God are the broken spirit; You will not despise a broken and contrite heart, O God.

Bless Zion, according to your good will; build the walls of Jerusalem. Then you will be pleased with sacrifices of justice, burnt offerings and burnt offerings; then bulls will be offered on your altar. “

Psalm 51

Grace and Peace.

Prayer: Purify and restore

Prayer: Purify and restore

Father, today I stand before You, acknowledging my need for the presence of Your Holy Spirit. There are areas of my life that often resemble dry, weary, and barren land. There are times when my faith weakens, my heart becomes heavy, and my soul thirsts for the water that only You can offer. Therefore, I ask You: pour out Your showers of blessing upon me. May Your Spirit renew what is worn out, restore what is broken, and bring life where there is dryness. Just as You promised to pour water upon the thirsty land, I acknowledge my dependence on You. I do not want to seek satisfaction in the fleeting things of this world, but in the inexhaustible source of Your presence. Fill my heart with Your peace, strengthen my faith, and help me remain close to You at all times. May Your Spirit flow through my life like rivers of living water, bringing hope, direction, and renewal to every area that needs Your touch. Holy Spirit, fall upon me like a flood. Invade the places in my heart that I have not yet fully surrendered to the Lord. Wash away my worries, my fears, my insecurities, and everything […]

Rain and fire upon us

Rain and fire upon us

Throughout the Scriptures, God uses powerful images to reveal the work of the Holy Spirit. Among them, two appear repeatedly: rain and fire. They may seem like completely opposite images when we read them, but rain speaks of life, renewal, and abundance, while fire speaks of purification, holiness, and power. When we cry out, “Holy Spirit, fall like a flood” or “Holy Spirit, send Your fire,” we are echoing deeply biblical symbols that point to God’s work among His people. The Holy Spirit is not merely a force or a passing emotion. He is the living presence of God dwelling within us, transforming dry hearts into fertile ground and igniting cold lives with the fire of His presence. Rain upon dry ground “I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.” Ezekiel 34:26 Since the Old Testament, God has promised to pour out blessings upon His people like rain that falls at the proper time. The image of water is frequently used to describe spiritual renewal, restoration, and abundant life that come from the Lord. In a world marked by spiritual exhaustion, many hearts […]

Procrastinators

Procrastinators

We live in a tired generation. We constantly hear about procrastination, discouragement, and the difficulty of completing even simple daily tasks. Many times, our lives seem organized on the outside, but inside there is an overwhelmed mind with no strength to begin. Getting out of bed feels difficult. Small tasks become gigantic. Simple things remain unfinished and, without realizing it, we accumulate pending matters that increase our anxiety even more. Procrastination is not always born from laziness. Sometimes, it comes from mental exhaustion, emotional overload, and a mind that can no longer handle so many demands at the same time. And perhaps the answer is not in doing more, but in slowing down, breathing, and learning to walk one step at a time before God again. The body stops “For he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.” Psalm 103:14 Our minds were not created to carry everything at once. When we look at a huge list of responsibilities, pressures, and expectations, the brain tends to search for a place of comfort and escape. That is why, many times, we become paralyzed even before small tasks. Not because we do not want to do them, but […]
