Prayer: Unmatched power

Father, I know that many times I allow my anxiety, human expectations, or the weight of my own ideas to take the throne of my heart. Forgive me when I have trusted more in my own understanding than in Your perfection. Help me remember that nothing this world offers, no human power or earthly promise, can compare to Your greatness and sovereignty. Your power is unmatched! May I surrender my fears and expectations to You, knowing that trusting in Your love and Your plans is greater than trying to control everything by myself. May my faith not depend on what I can see or accomplish, but on Who You are: a God who sustains, guides, and acts on behalf of those who seek Him. Holy Spirit, come remind me that I have already overcome through the One who dwells in me. May this truth become the foundation so that I am not shaken by trials, comparisons, or moments of doubt, but instead that all of these transform and strengthen me. When the world seems stronger, may I fix my eyes on Your truth that never changes. Help me live by the dimension of Your Kingdom, where everything that is natural […]

Prayer: Christ in every step

Father, I know that many times I underestimate the power of the small choices in my life. Help me to understand that every gesture, no matter how small it seems, can be an act of holiness when done with the intention of honoring You and following in Your steps. May my life not be guided by automatic routine, but by a vigilant heart, ready to reflect Your presence in words, actions, and thoughts each day. Fill me with discernment to choose wisely in the simplest moments: in the way I treat, forgive, act, and speak with others. In how I use my time and in what I seek in my daily routine. Teach me to act like Jesus and to have authority to act in His name in everything I do—transforming the ordinary into an encounter with Him and making my life an expression of gratitude and praise to the Lord. You are my perfect example—may I live with Your love pulsing in my heart and Your light shining through my actions. Even in daily decisions, may I reflect Your character and contribute to building up Your Kingdom. May every choice reveal that I follow the Way, the Truth, and […]

The christian and the small choices

The Christian life is not built only on great moments, but on the small daily choices that reflect who we are in Christ. God calls us to live in holiness not only on Sundays, in church services, or on special occasions, but also in the simple things: in the way we speak, act, and decide. It is in the seemingly small choices that we reveal whether our life is being guided by ourselves or by the Holy Spirit. Holiness in everyday life “But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.’” 1 Peter 1:15-16 Holiness is not limited to moments of prayer or worship. It is manifested in how we treat people, how we manage our time, how we handle our words and thoughts. Every choice, no matter how small it seems, carries the responsibility of revealing who is guiding our life. Choosing to forgive, even when it is not easy; deciding to speak the truth instead of lying; choosing kindness when we could be indifferent. These gestures shape a holy heart and demonstrate that the Holy Spirit is in control of our […]

Prayer: Reorganizing the heart

Father, so often my heart is like a house of negotiation: filled with distractions, selfishness, and motivations that pull me away from You. Forgive me for allowing human priorities, fleeting desires, and personal comfort to take the place that rightfully belongs to You. I cry out for You to flip the tables within me, just as Jesus did in the temple, so that the true altar of worship may be restored in my heart. I know You discipline those You love, Your chosen and set-apart children. Thank You because Your work is an expression of love and care, not meaningless punishment. Your correction has a purpose: to purify us and align us with Your heart. May I understand that what seems like chaos is not always destruction, but rather purification for what is to come. Holy Spirit, may every area of my heart be poured out before You and reorganized according to Your will. May Your work completely change my motivations, aligning my life with Your presence and not with the noise of the world. Allow me to fully live out Your plans for me; fix my eyes only on You. May God’s work within me not be temporary but […]

Prayer: Chosen

Father, so many times I focus on the blessings I receive—gifts, achievements, moments when I become visible and evident, when miracles become visible and evident—and I forget that Your eyes are turned toward my surrendered heart. Forgive me for wanting to feel chosen only by what I have, instead of being fully open and available for You to have me completely. Teach me to offer my life as a living sacrifice, pleasing to You. May my life not be defined by what I receive, but by who I become in You. May I understand that grace is upon all creation, but the chosen are those who allow the Father to receive from their lives. Let love, faithfulness, and obedience remain constant in me. Cause my heart to surrender fully—not out of obligation or expectation, but out of love. Lord, help me to transform my understanding of being chosen—not as a privilege of status, but as a responsibility of commitment. May I learn to live each day not for myself, but for the One who called me out of darkness into His marvelous light. May my actions show that Your mercy and grace upon me are greater than my achievements. I […]

Do I belong to the “Chosen”?

Many times, we think that being “chosen” by God is tied to how much we receive from Him: gifts, blessings, miracles, and accomplishments. But the Bible shows us that the true calling is not about how much we have of God, but how much He has of us. The Lord’s love and grace are available to all creation, but the chosen are those who decide to live surrendered, allowing the Father to receive from their lives sacrifices of obedience, love, and faithfulness. Surrender “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” Romans 12:1 God has already blessed us with life, with salvation in Christ, and with His Spirit. But being chosen is more than receiving—it is presenting our lives as an offering to Him. The true difference lies in choosing to live so that He has freedom over us. The Lord is not merely seeking outstretched hands to ask, but hearts willing to surrender in love, completely. Being chosen is not about privileges and benefits, but about responsibility. It is deciding each day to relinquish control and allow God’s […]

There is victory in forgiveness

There is victory in forgiveness

It’s easy to admire great public feats, like David’s victory over Goliath, which earned him applause and recognition. But there are silent battles that reveal a heart truly shaped by God. Forgiving someone who has hurt us, as David did with Saul, doesn’t generate fame—but it shows spiritual maturity and obedience to the Lord. While killing giants impresses people, forgiving enemies brings joy to the heart of God. Hidden Power “Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, ‘Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?’ Jesus answered, ‘I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.’” Matthew 18:21–22 Forgiving is not a sign of weakness but of spiritual strength. Jesus taught that forgiveness must be constant and necessary—not as a favor to others, but as healing for ourselves. When David had the chance to take Saul’s life and chose to spare him, he didn’t act out of fear but out of reverence for God. He knew vengeance wasn’t his responsibility and that it wasn’t God’s plan for him. Killing Goliath was a bold act seen by all, vital to David’s journey, and ordained by God. But forgiving Saul was […]

Prayer: Surrender to the Father

God, in the midst of the busyness of my days, I come before You in silence and humility. I acknowledge that so often I’ve become occupied with many things and neglected what is most important: Your presence. Forgive me for every time I’ve placed You second, allowing tasks, responsibilities, and distractions to dominate my heart. Today, I ask You: teach me to pause, to hear Your voice, and to prioritize seeking Your presence above all else. I want to seek You with a whole and available heart. I know it’s not You who moves away—it’s me who gets distracted by the noise of this world and changes my steps. I want to learn from Mary, who chose to sit at Your feet, rather than follow the path of Martha’s busyness. I know Martha longed to serve and welcome You well into her home, but give me the wisdom to reorganize my life and time around what truly matters: communion with You. Father, I no longer want to offer You what’s left over. I desire to give You my best—my first thoughts in the morning, my attention throughout the day, and my rest in the evening. May Your Word dwell richly […]

Too busy for God

Too busy for God

We live in a world that glorifies and encourages performance, control, and busyness. In the midst of rush and anxiety, we often forget something essential: God moves when we rest in Him. The areas where we are overly anxious become closed zones for the Lord’s move, because we insist on solving everything with our own strength. Rest is not the same as inactivity, but rather trust. Where God Works “Do not be anxious about anything…” Philippians 4:6 I like to talk about this here, to reach more and more people. This is a very present topic in our lives and it’s extremely important to be discussed. Anxiety reflects our desire to control what is beyond our reach. When we are restless, worried, and impatient, we close our ears to God’s voice and block our hearts from His work. Faith trusts in the Lord’s timing, while the anxious mind wants to anticipate the future and, as a result, skip important steps. When we understand that anxiety doesn’t solve anything, but rather gets in the way, we take the first step toward spiritual rest. God doesn’t move in hearts that do not listen to Him, and anxiety often speaks so loudly that […]

Self-sufficient

Self-sufficient

“This is what the Lord says: ‘Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord’.” Jeremiah 17:5 The Danger of Trusting in Yourself “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” Jeremiah 17:9 This verse is often interpreted as a warning not to trust those around us, but the original text goes further. It reveals the danger of relying solely on human strength—including, and especially, our own. When we make our flesh and natural abilities our main support, we risk turning our hearts away from the Lord. Total self-trust is a subtle form of pride and self-sufficiency that distances us from dependence on God. Trusting only in what we feel or think can lead us down paths of deception and disappointment. The wisdom that comes solely from ourselves is limited, but the wisdom that comes from above is pure, peace-loving, and full of good fruit (James 3:17). That’s why God calls us to abandon the idea of spiritual independence and recognize that without Him, we can do nothing. Unrestrained self-confidence leads to isolation, anxiety, and frustration, because we try to control […]

Do I need the Holy Spirit?

In the Bible, we often hear about the Holy Spirit of God. But I’ve also seen some people question the importance of this name in our lives. The promised Comforter “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever” John 14:16 The Holy Spirit is the fulfilled promise of Jesus to His disciples. He would not leave us alone after ascending to heaven, but would send the Comforter—He who dwells with us and in us. The presence of the Spirit is constant, real, and deep, bringing comfort, peace, and guidance even in the midst of our greatest storms. He is not a fleeting emotion, but the continuous dwelling of God within us. Beyond comforting, the Holy Spirit reminds us of Christ’s words and guides us into all truth (John 14:26). When we are confused, He brings clarity. When we are troubled, He brings peace. His role goes beyond easing pain; He also shapes our understanding, aligns our minds with the Word, and strengthens us with wisdom from above. There is no situation in which His presence is not essential. The Holy Spirit is also the seal of our […]

Prayer: Beyond fear

God, so often fear paralyzes and shames me, keeping me from living out what You have planned and dreamed for me. I know that fear does not make me less of a Christian, less loved, or less accepted by You. You know my frame, my limitations, my deepest longings. Teach me to bring my fears before You with honesty, choosing to walk beyond them, trusting that You welcome my weakness and equip me with every step. Help me to remember that faith is not the absence of fear, but the choice to trust above all. Just like Moses, who hesitated before the calling, and Joshua, who needed to hear “be strong and courageous” to move forward, I too need Your Word to remind me that I am not alone—I want to seek it before anything else. Strengthen my heart when I feel incapable, and show me that You do not abandon me in the middle of the battle. May my fear not drive me away from You, but draw me closer to Your embrace, where I find comfort and direction. Jesus, You know what it is to feel afraid. In Gethsemane, in drops of blood, in the anguish before the […]

Prayer: Finding God in the pause

Lord, in the midst of so many commitments, voices, and tasks, I find myself distant from the silence that allows me to hear Your voice. Teach me, Father, to slow down. Show me that stopping is not wasting time, but gaining life. But also teach my heart to hear You amid the noise of the routine. Thank You for reminding me that even the Creator rested on the seventh day and contemplated creation and all that it offers. How precious it is to know that You do not demand constant productivity from me, but a surrendered trust. May I learn to trust that even when I stop, You are still sustaining all things. May rest be more than just physical pause—may it be soul restoration and a pursuit of Your presence. Help me rediscover the value of silence. In the moments when everything feels like noise and chaos, may I step away—even for a few minutes—to be with You in prayer, listening to everything You want me to hear. Like Elijah, may I recognize Your presence not only in grand manifestations, but also in the gentle whisper. Father, may I not live for results, but for Your will. May every […]

Prayer: A constant christian

Lord, today I come before You, recognizing that Your Word is not just something to be heard, but something to be lived. Forgive me, Lord, for all the times I limited my faith, thinking it only needed to exist inside a church, forgetting that the true calling is to live the gospel in the ordinary days, in the small choices, and in the daily actions. Teach me, Father, to be a doer of Your Word and not just a distracted listener. I want my life to be a constant act of worship to You. May I not hide behind religiosity, but may my faith be evident in the streets, at work, in my home, and in every place I set foot. May my works glorify You, and may I be an instrument to shine light to those who are lost, weary, and hopeless. Help me to be a Christian in every step — in traffic, in simple conversations, in difficult decisions, and in every little detail of my routine. I want to follow Christ no matter the place or the time. Father, may Your presence be with me in my everyday life. Help me notice You in every detail. May […]

Be a Christian on Monday

Be a Christian on Monday

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” James 1:22 The gospel is not just about attending services but about living like Jesus every day. Monday faith shows up in meeting deadlines, caring for people, being honest, showing empathy, and being consistent. A Christian After the Service “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 Being a Christian is not an identity we put on for Sunday and then hang back in the closet until the next service. The true gospel shapes us in the ordinary — the day after the service, in traffic, at work, in simple conversations, and in daily choices. James 1:22 reminds us that hearing the Word is not enough; we must live it, especially in the ordinary days. We are called to be light. But light for whom? Lighting up where it’s already bright is simple and natural. While it’s important to be an example inside the church, we must be light especially in the dark places — among people who are far from God, where there are challenges, stress, pressure, and imperfect relationships. Our […]

Prayer: The process of a son

God, I praise You and thank You for who You are and for Your perfect plans, which are always greater and better than mine. Thank You because, just as Your Son Jesus went through a process of growth, maturity, and preparation, I too am cared for and shaped by You in every detail of my life. Nothing goes unnoticed by Your eyes, and even when I cannot see it, You continue working in my heart. Father, so often I feel impatient, wanting things to happen in my own time. But today I acknowledge that there is beauty in the process. That every stage has a purpose and that the behind-the-scenes moments are part of the construction of Your plan in me. Help me, Lord, not to despise the days of small beginnings and to value the simple moments, knowing that they are also full of Your presence and care. Just as Jesus lived the ordinary — learning to walk, to speak, working, feeling pain, and facing challenges — teach me to understand that You are with me in every detail of my journey. May I learn to see You in the ordinary days, in routines, in simple tasks, and may […]

The Master’s process

The Master’s process

The Bible is not just a book of stories — it reveals processes, teaches principles, and invites us to see life from God’s perspective. When we look at Jesus’ journey, we often focus on His public ministry — the miracles, sermons, and healings. But there is a quieter part, barely detailed in Scripture, that holds immense value: the years of preparation, growth, and development. Jesus went through common processes while being continuously shaped by the Father. The process is part of the purpose, and even behind the scenes, God is forming something great within us. Walking in the Steps of the Son “After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers.” Luke 2:46-47 When we look at Jesus, we instantly recognize the Master — the One who taught multitudes, healed the sick, and performed miracles. We know He began His public ministry at the age of 30 (as cited in Luke 3:23), but we often overlook everything that happened before that. Jesus spent years being formed — silent to the world, but fully active before the […]

Prayer: Worship in Stillness

Father, thank You for allowing us to be in Your presence for another day. I acknowledge that I don’t always perceive You in the moments of silence and routine. Many times, I wait for grand manifestations and forget that You are also present in the stillness. Help me understand that boredom is not the absence of You, but an opportunity to worship You in a deeper and more sincere way, truly seeking You. Teach me to value the simple and repetitive moments of daily life. May I find joy in serving You even in the most ordinary tasks, knowing that every act done with love and dedication is a form of praise to You. May I not despise the ordinary, but see in it a chance to grow in intimacy with You. Holy Spirit, strengthen my faith so that I may remain steadfast in my walk, even when I don’t feel intense emotions or see immediate results. Remind me that faithfulness in the little prepares me for the greater, and that You are shaping my character in every small act of obedience. May I follow Your example of humility and service. May I be attentive to the opportunities to love […]

Worshiping in boredom

Worshiping in boredom

Not everything from God will feel exciting to do. Many times, we will need patience and consistency—even in the midst of “boredom.” Learning to handle boredom is also an act of honor to God, because we worship Him in the silence too. Worshiping in Boredom “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 Sometimes we stop doing certain things because they feel boring, tiring, or repetitive. Just because they don’t bring instant fulfillment. Not every time you go into your room to read the Bible will be a powerful encounter with God—those moments where you cry and pour your heart out. Most times, it will be quiet. You may even feel that familiar “boredom.” But God is still doing something in that moment. The problem is, when there’s no thunder or noise, we tend to believe God isn’t present. And little by little, we start giving up, letting go of the ordinary—and missing out on moments that could become visibly extraordinary. We long so much to see the Lord in […]

Sovereignty

Sovereignty

Sovereignty means: “Supreme power especially over a body politic. Freedom from external control, autonomy” Trusting in God’s sovereignty means recognizing that He is above all things and does not owe us explanations. He sees beyond what we can understand and calls us to rest in His will. True faith does not demand constant answers but stands firm in the certainty that God is perfect in all He does. God Does Not Owe Explanations God’s sovereignty means He rules over all things without the need to justify His actions. Often, we want to understand every detail of what happens in our lives, but God is not subject to our limitations. In Job 38:4, He asks: “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?” This passage reminds us that God existed before everything — including us and all the experiences we can accumulate. His knowledge goes far beyond what we can comprehend. He doesn’t need to explain His plans for them to be perfect. Our desire for control and understanding often leads us to seek immediate answers, but true faith means trusting even when we cannot see. When we constantly demand explanations, we place God on the same level as our […]

Prayer: Christ lives in me

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 Prayer Father, I have been crucified with Your Son. Now He lives in me. Help me remember this truth daily, so I can live according to Your will. I acknowledge that Your presence changes everything. Nothing stays the same where You are. Your presence must put to death who I used to be, so that I may become more like You, aligning myself with the path You have for me. Sometimes I try to change You without even realizing it, but I know that it’s Your will that must prevail. Teach me to fully surrender my heart to You, allowing Your will to be done in my life. God, help me live a life that reflects Your character. May I be set apart by You, seeking a life of holiness not based on my own strength, but on Your grace that empowers me. Continually transform me, so that my daily choices show my commitment to You. May […]

Serving the Kingdom

Serving the Kingdom

“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35 Serving God and others is a privilege that brings us closer to His divine purpose. True joy is found in blessing others. When we serve without seeking recognition, we reflect the character of Christ, who came into the world to serve. The joy of serving does not come from personal exaltation but from the impact we create for God’s Kingdom. John the Baptist expressed this truth by saying, “He must become greater; I must become less.” (John 3:30). Our calling is to act so that people experience God’s presence, not so they remember us. Humility in service teaches us to place God’s glory above our desire for recognition. When we understand that serving is an act of love, we find purpose even in the simplest tasks. We serve because we love God and desire for others to know Him. Thus, our joy is not in human applause but in the certainty that we are bearing fruit and that God delights in our […]

Prayer: Waiting, Faith, and Perseverance

Lord, today I come before You to surrender every part of my life to Your perfect control. I know that everything has its appointed time, and nothing happens outside of Your sovereign plan. Help me to trust in You, even when I do not understand Your ways. Teach me to wait patiently, without demanding answers, knowing that each season has a purpose and that You are faithful to fulfill Your promises in my life. Father, strengthen my faith in moments of uncertainty. When the waiting feels long and the silence seems deafening, remind me that You are working behind the scenes. Just as You prepared every detail in the lives of Your servants in the Bible, I know that You are shaping my path. Help me to grow during this waiting period, to learn the lessons You want to teach me, and to remain steadfast in Your presence. May I not despair when doors close, but instead trust that You are protecting me from paths that could lead me away from You or even harm me. I want to rest in the assurance that Your plans are greater and better than mine. Renew my hope and fill my heart with […]

Perfect timing

Learning to wait with faith and patience strengthens us spiritually, shapes our character, and draws us closer to the Lord. When we rest in His sovereignty, we find peace, knowing that He has the best for us. A Purpose for Every Season “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:“ Ecclesiastes 3:1 God is never late nor early; He works at the perfect time. Often, we seek immediate answers, but He teaches us to trust and wait. Every phase of life has a purpose, and even when we don’t understand it, God is shaping our character and preparing us for what’s ahead. Waiting on the Lord does not mean inactivity but rather a season of learning and growth, acting in pursuit of His purpose. God uses the waiting period to strengthen our faith, teach us patience, and draw us closer to Him. Just as a tree needs time to develop deep roots before growing strong, our lives require a firm foundation in trusting God. When we surrender our plans to Him, we can rest assured that He is in control. Even in times of uncertainty, we must remember that God’s plans are greater […]
