“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20
Prayer
Father, I have been crucified with Your Son. Now He lives in me. Help me remember this truth daily, so I can live according to Your will.
I acknowledge that Your presence changes everything. Nothing stays the same where You are. Your presence must put to death who I used to be, so that I may become more like You, aligning myself with the path You have for me. Sometimes I try to change You without even realizing it, but I know that it’s Your will that must prevail. Teach me to fully surrender my heart to You, allowing Your will to be done in my life.
God, help me live a life that reflects Your character. May I be set apart by You, seeking a life of holiness not based on my own strength, but on Your grace that empowers me. Continually transform me, so that my daily choices show my commitment to You. May I walk in the right paths and make the right decisions, one day at a time, led by You.
May I impact the lives of those around me. Help me to pray for others, to be willing to help, to share what You have ministered to my heart, and to take responsibility for my faith. Take the focus off myself, because it’s not about me—it’s about being a vessel willing to be used by You. May I live a life of service and love for others, reflecting Your love.
Lastly, Lord, may I live a life of complete faith in You. Even in affliction, help me to remember the glory that is to come, knowing I can trust Your Word because of all I’ve seen You do and all I still believe You will do. Let me live with purpose, investing in what truly bears fruit for Your Kingdom. Teach me to store up treasures in heaven, living a life of obedience to You, fulfilling Your calling while there is still time. In Jesus’ name, amen.
