
Prayer: Surrender to the Source
Father, I know that many times I act as if I were the one who is always right. How often have I trusted more in my own understanding than in Your wisdom, forgetting that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7). Today I surrender, recognizing that true wisdom does not come from within me, but from You. I confess my pride. Many times I struggle to accept correction, to listen, and to acknowledge when I am wrong. My ego speaks louder than Your voice. Therefore, I ask You—break in me everything that prevents me from having a teachable heart that is sensitive to Your direction. Teach me to trust less in myself and more in You. May my heart not be grounded in my own opinions, but in Your truth. As Your Word says, what I value directs my life, so align my desires, thoughts, and decisions with Your will, so that I will not lose my way by trusting in myself.
