Towards the future

You need to make your future respect you, but there is a right way to do that. It’s necessary for you to reflect on your steps and work on your path, moving toward God’s plans. Sow today! “Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” John 12:24 The only way for your future to respect you is through your sowing. It will not respect your wishes, your projects, or your personal plans. But what you plant and nurture along the way shapes and prepares your future, and that’s how it respects you. No matter how well-intentioned your dream may be, if it isn’t accompanied by action, it won’t take you anywhere. Walk in obedience “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” Joshua 1:8 Your future does not respect the voice of your promises. If you do not walk in obedience, they will not be fulfilled in your life. God has already activated them in […]

Prayer: Esther’s Heart

The Bible presents many stories and passages that teach us and serve as inspiration for our steps. Esther was the protagonist of one of these stories. She is used as an example of strength, dependence on God, and boldness. Today, I want to pray with you so that we may learn to position ourselves like this queen. God expects from us this courageous and surrendered heart. Prayer Lord, today I come before You, seeking the boldness and attitude that Esther demonstrated in critical moments. May I, like her, understand the power of prayer and positioning. Give me the courage to follow Your direction, knowing that in You, I can face any challenge and transform the realities around me. Transform my heart so that through this, I can be an agent of transformation, a channel for Your work. Father, may I not rely on my own strength or abilities, but may every decision be made in total dependence on You. Let my relationship with You give me the wisdom and discernment necessary to act with clarity and grace. Help me to wait for Your timing and trust in Your guidance. I want to reflect the kindness of Christ in all my […]

Walking like Esther

The story of Esther shows us the power of boldness and action in critical moments. It clearly demonstrates how our prayer and stance can change everything! Authority in the steps As queen, Esther faced the challenge of interceding for her people, risking her own life. God was with her, and because of that, she found the courage to present herself to the king even without being summoned. Esther knew she couldn’t remain silent, and with faith, she made the decision that would save the nation of Israel. She didn’t hold back when she received direction from the Lord. In our lives, we often face challenges that seem too big. But just like Esther, we can find courage in God. He gives us authority, guides us in difficult moments, and directs us to make wise decisions. When we act with that confidence, knowing the Lord is by our side, we can impact not only our lives but also the lives of those around us. Dependence on God Esther was beautiful, but she didn’t rely on her beauty. She was full of wisdom that came from her close relationship with God. Before making any decision, she sought the Lord through fasting and […]

Have you been an example?

God uses people, places, and situations to teach each of us. And often, we are also the ones He uses to teach others. Honorable children “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you…” John 15:1-4 God uses you as an example in one way or another, either as a model of what to do or as a model of what not to follow. You were created and are being directed by God to produce for Him, honoring and bringing glory to His name. He will use you as an example. If you work for the Kingdom, you will be a child that God is proud of, like a father who speaks proudly of what his child has done and how honored he feels to have him. But if you work only to benefit yourself, you will be like someone we should not use as a basis or inspiration. Get up! “Therefore, I urge you, brothers […]

Molded in the ordinary

God has placed you in situations that are not His ultimate purpose for your life, but that shape and prepare you for that greater plan. Daily “Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him” Hebrews 5:8-9 Jesus wasn’t made to be a carpenter, but for 30 years, He was in that position. He knew deep inside that carpentry was not His life’s purpose. He was created and destined for something much greater. God prepared His Son through simple, everyday activities for a supernatural calling, and He can prepare and transform you in your work and daily tasks as well. Constantly obedient “Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us” 2 Corinthians 1:21 We often think that God only prepares us spiritually when we are in a spiritual environment. Of course, that strengthens our contact and relationship with God, but it is not the only place where He works. He is using your daily obedience and consistency to build the supernatural, not through extraordinary events. The one who is faithful in little is also faithful in much. The […]

Submit yourselves!

Human beings love freedom, the feeling of having control and the power to make decisions. If something good results from the choice, we celebrate and feel extremely intelligent and accomplished. But if the choice brings negative consequences, we rebel against someone close or even against God, trying at all costs to shift the responsibility away from ourselves. Educated children God gave us free will, but with it, we also received the responsibility for our choices and decisions. I’m saying this to remind you that the world is not in the hands of the enemy because God gave it to him, or because the Lord desires destruction. Rather, it’s because man, having received the earth from the Lord, handed it over to the devil. Do not blame the father for the choices of the son. No matter how much the father’s authority teaches, the world and the experiences lived throughout the days can transform the son and shape his thoughts. This changes the entire path and ultimately distances the son from what the Lord desires for His children. But the son can always return to his origins, to what shaped who he is in his essence. Call the sky “God blessed […]

Immature and loved

We have already talked about how dependent we are on the Father. No matter how much we know how to do certain things on our own, the best choice is still to follow His steps. He wants to be in control of our lives because He dreams of the best for us. Patient father “The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will He harbor his anger forever; He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him.” Psalm 103:8-11 God knows everything, so He is by our side, already aware of our limitations and human mistakes. But He is patient with our childishness and immaturity. He knows our lack of knowledge and our difficulty in controlling ourselves. The Bible says in several verses how the Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in love. In all the ancient stories, we see God showing immeasurable patience with His people, guiding them through spiritual deserts and moments of darkness. He sees us as beloved children, […]

Independents

I don’t know the exact moment when you matured, when you realized that it was necessary to grow up. In each season of our lives, we learn something that shapes and transforms us. We learn so many things simultaneously and end up not giving everything its due value. Time to grow “When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.” 1 Corinthians 13:11 I started working at 13 years old. I helped at a stationery store on the avenue near my house. It wasn’t my parents’ desire, and they only allowed it because they saw that it was my desire to have my own money and learn. As the owner of the place was a friend of theirs, I was able to go in to help her. I did various tasks, some days cleaning to maintain the environment, receiving new merchandise, among many other things that, even though they seemed small, made me grow a lot. I matured very early. Since that age, I knew the value of my money and my work, I had my responsibilities, […]

Prayer: Deciding paths

God knows what is best for us and wants to have intimacy and freedom to act in our lives. To do this, we need to position ourselves in the face of situations so that there is real change and transformation in us and around us. Let’s pray together about this position? Prayer “Father, everything that You expect from us and dream for our lives is already written in Your book. I know that we need to seek answers from You and we ask for wisdom and direction on this path. Grant us the wisdom to form our opinions according to Your will. May we seek Your guidance in all the decisions we need to make, focusing on achieving Your dreams for us. May we have the courage to let go of the old self, allowing a real transformation in us and around us. God, we want to fully trust You as our guide. Help us to remain firm in the face of situations that arise and do not allow us to deviate from the paths that You have designed for us. Strengthen our relationship with You, granting us unshakable confidence in Your love and Your wisdom, showering us with discernment. […]

Stand firm!

A position defines your limits and ideals. We are generally afraid to take a stand, as it brings many changes. Change is scary, and the beginning is uncomfortable. But you are not alone! Free in Christ “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Psalm 119:105 Often, when making the right decision, we get the impression that everything is going wrong around us. This happens because the light turns on and reveals everything. What you previously couldn’t see in the dark is now clear and visible, fixable. When we do not position ourselves in the face of a situation, we allow it to remain covered in uncertainty and fear, generating trauma within us. We get stuck in situations that make us sick. God offered you freedom and wants to introduce you to a lighter way of living life. Allowing changes “Whoever watches the wind will not plant. Whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.” Ecclesiastes 11:4 There will be times when your positioning will make you lose people, or it will be necessary for you to say goodbye to places and dreams. In other situations, He will not move you from place to place or keep you […]

Prayer: Building tomorrow

Previously, I spoke to you about being grateful for everything we have today. The Father pours blessings upon us every day so that we can build our future with Him. Shall we pray about this gratitude? You don’t need to pray exactly as I’m going to say here. I know that everyone has their own way of communicating with the Father, and it is important that we seek this intimacy. Feel free to talk to the Lord in your way. But if you wish, I am here to accompany you in this prayer. Prayer “Father, the Lord pours so much upon us! Unique blessings and wonders, things that we only achieve by being in You, for the Lord is the source of everything! Help us to recognize and value everything You have already placed in our hands, to live a life of gratitude, even without having yet reached the place we dreamed of, but recognizing that the Lord places us in a place of honor every day, before Your grace and majesty! May our eyes be open to see each of the blessings we have already received, for it is through what we have and are now that the Lord […]

Too busy for Christ

When we choose to listen to the Lord, we take the best path. Spending our time at the feet of Christ is the best choice, and nothing else matters when we have this closeness to Him. In Luke 10, we see God clearly express this truth to Martha and Mary. Hear Him now! “As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said.” Luke 10:38-39 Mary left behind everything that had to be done in the house, as she knew what a great opportunity it was to have Jesus there with them. They could hear the Master, face to face, sitting with them. We don’t encounter Jesus in the flesh, like they did. But we have Him with us every day and at all times. He lives in our hearts, and we can talk to Him at any time of the day. The Lord knocks on the door to sit with us too and invites us to be at His feet, listening to everything He has to teach. All […]

How do I measure my faith?

How do I measure my faith?

Difficult times do not mean little faith. Walking with God does not make us immune to difficulties and pain. But God taught us in the Bible the difference it makes to be with Him, walking in His footsteps. Faith in the lion’s den “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.” Matthew 7:24-26 The storm comes for everyone, both for those who built their house on the sand and for those who built their house on the rock. Difficulties will always exist; the difference is in the foundation, where we are built. Our trust cannot be in something volatile; we need to establish it in God. Just as in the story of Daniel, when he was thrown into a pit full of hungry lions, he stood firm, not in his […]

Prayer: Directing dreams

There are dreams that are aligned with God’s, others that walk outside of God’s footsteps, and even those that are blessed by the Lord but become wrong dreams because we seek them incorrectly, far from God’s teachings. I want to invite you to pray together at this moment so that our dreams and paths align with those of the Father. Only in this way can we bear fruit for the Kingdom and experience everything that God desires for us. Remembering that you don’t need to pray exactly as I’m going to say here. I know that everyone has their own way of communicating with the Father, and it is important that we seek this intimacy. Feel free to talk to the Lord in your way. But if you wish, I am here to accompany you in this prayer. Prayer “Father, thank You for everything You give to me. Be the Author of my dreams and the guide of my paths. May my dreams and projects be in perfect harmony with Yours, so that I can live according to Your purpose and Your will. Structured by the Creator

Human beings have always cared about what can be seen. We have observed beauty standards for people and places being imposed since ancient times, and we tend to focus more on that than on who we are inside and what we do when no one is watching. But who are you inside? What is your identity? What is its structure? Surface base “Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.” John 7:24 Nowadays, with technology and so much information, appearance and what you are like on the outside have become an unhealthy concern. We think we know people because of what they seem to be, and we choose to go to places because of what they appear to be. Then we get frustrated when we get to know the inside; we place a lot of expectations on what we form from such a superficial characteristic. I don’t know about you, but I love home decor. Seeing an organized, clean, and beautiful environment is something I really appreciate. The look always catches our attention. We are dazzled by what adorns us and, most of the time, we are led to focus more on it. In the end, what matters least […]

Prayer: Blessed to Bless

The Lord has a calling for each of us, with a personal and individual direction. But this calling is for the Kingdom, not for oneself. In the word of God, we are encouraged to love as God loved us, caring for one another and being channels of blessings to those around us. The answer to someone’s prayer could be you! Today, I want to invite you to pray together for this sense of community and body, so that we may understand that, in addition to our calling to serve the Kingdom, we must also serve people. Remembering that you don’t need to pray exactly as I’m going to say here. I know that everyone has their own way of communicating with the Father, and it is important that we seek this intimacy. Feel free to talk to the Lord in your way. But if you wish, I am here to accompany you in this prayer. Prayer “Dear God, I want to thank You for Your blessings upon my family and friends. Prayer: Love that directs

We know that God is a Father of justice and love, who cares for us and calls us to the best path. Today, I want to pray with you about this. We should not feel punished in some situations, but rather cared for and directed towards something much greater, learning and growing along the way. Remembering that you don’t need to pray exactly as I’m going to say here. I know that everyone has their own way of communicating with the Father, and it is important that we seek this intimacy. Feel free to talk to the Lord in your way. But if you wish, I am here to accompany you in this prayer. Prayer “God, I recognize Your perfect justice and Your endless love. Lord, I know that You are a God of love and justice, who desires for me to live in harmony with Your principles of love and righteousness. Justice and love!

Justice and love!

I’ve heard many people talk about God’s justice as divine punishment. He doesn’t punish; He teaches and guides. The consequences of our choices have never been God’s fault, but rather our own errors and steps taken alone. Warning “He rules the world in righteousness and judges the peoples with equity.” Psalm 9:8 He is love. But God cannot be a God of love without also being a just God. Love comforts and confronts. It corrects, guides, warns, and cares. If your child makes a mistake, you teach them. You show them where they went wrong, instruct them on the right way to do things. But most of the time, you cannot prevent the consequences. If they climb somewhere they shouldn’t and fall, the pain of the fall is inevitable. However, your role as a parent is to instruct and correct, so that it does not happen again. God warns us, gives us new chances, directs us, and calls our attention repeatedly. But often, we continue in error and suffer the consequences, blaming God for them. Fair judge “For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: […]

Prayer: Anointing of the Spirit

God grants us gifts, pours His grace upon us, and empowers us for various actions, specific to each of His children. But, furthermore, He also desires to anoint us in these areas. He has set us apart for the Kingdom and guides us daily toward His work. I want to invite you to pray today for this anointing, for boldness and wisdom to serve the Kingdom. It’s important for us to pray for our dreams, but beyond that, it’s necessary to be thankful for what we already have and to seek empowerment for what He calls us to do. You don’t need to pray exactly as I’m going to say here. I know that everyone has their way of talking to the Father, and it is important that we individually seek intimacy with Him. Therefore, feel comfortable talking to the Lord in your own way. But if you want, I will be happy to accompany you in this prayer. Prayer: Consuming fire

I want to invite you to pray together for revival. We are living in a time where we witness the desires of the flesh outweighing the purposes of the Spirit. People are getting lost, entangled in ties and chains that hold them back and distance them from God and His paths. But He calls us, you and me, to be voices in this generation, bringing His life back to hearts and spirits. One way to accomplish this is by praying for the people around you, for your city, and for your country. Keep in mind that it is not necessary for you to pray exactly as I am about to do here. Everyone has their own way of communicating with the Father, and it is important that we seek this intimacy with Him. Feel free to speak to the Lord in your own way. However, if you wish, I am here to join you in this prayer. Prayer “Lord, Your presence burns like fire, and we yearn to feel it once again, increasingly. Prayer: Fighting with Christ

In Proverbs 3:5-6, it is written: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” This verse reminds us of the importance of fully trusting in God and recognizing Him in all areas of our lives. In one of the previous texts (“Unnecessary Battles”), we discussed avoiding fighting battles that do not come from the Lord, conflicts that arise from our own decisions and can divert us from the plan that God has for us. Today, I want to pray with you for the courage to completely surrender our lives to God, trusting in His wisdom and guidance to lead us along the right path. You don’t need to pray exactly as I’m going to say here. I know that everyone has their way of talking to the Father, and it is important that we individually seek intimacy with Him. Unnecessary battles

Unnecessary battles

There are battles necessary for our growth, where God strengthens us and reveals Himself to us. However, we cannot forget that actions generate reactions and consequences, and depending on the step we take, the result may be an unnecessary battle that we ourselves create. Guided fights “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 Daniel was placed in the den with lions, and David was sent to fight Goliath. Similarly, we are also called to battles, urged to be strong and courageous, receiving direction and power from Him. These confrontations elevate us to new levels, drawing us nearer to Him and His promises. They are moments of strength and shaping, fostering our growth. However, at times, we engage in unnecessary battles not initiated by Him. The Bible instructs us to involve the Lord in our decisions from the very first step. Yet, in our daily hustle and bustle, we often decide for ourselves. This leads us into places, relationships, and circumstances not aligned with God’s plans, thus delaying the […]

Who are you?

Every day, we need to make decisions, whether big or small, that can change not just an hour but an entire life. These decisions often unsettle us, especially because we don’t know the impact they will have on various areas. Have you ever wondered what the most significant decision in your life will be? Well, I believe I have the answer for you… Identity and direction “Who, then, are those who fear the Lord? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose… The Lord confides in those who fear Him; He makes His covenant known to them.” Psalm 25:12 and 14 The most significant decision will always be choosing Christ. Without further ado, today I invite you to decide to be the vessel through which God is praised. Regardless of the magnitude of professional, financial, or family decisions… Choosing Christ should always take precedence. When our lives are centered on following Him and worshipping Him, others around us are influenced to do the same, and this stance radically transforms our lives, aiding us in making countless other decisions. A life focused on God provides answers to questions that once seemed insurmountable. Used daily “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special […]
