Every day, we need to make decisions, whether big or small, that can change not just an hour but an entire life. These decisions often unsettle us, especially because we don’t know the impact they will have on various areas.
Have you ever wondered what the most significant decision in your life will be? Well, I believe I have the answer for you…
Identity and direction
“Who, then, are those who fear the Lord? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose… The Lord confides in those who fear Him; He makes His covenant known to them.”
Psalm 25:12 and 14
The most significant decision will always be choosing Christ. Without further ado, today I invite you to decide to be the vessel through which God is praised.
Regardless of the magnitude of professional, financial, or family decisions… Choosing Christ should always take precedence.
When our lives are centered on following Him and worshipping Him, others around us are influenced to do the same, and this stance radically transforms our lives, aiding us in making countless other decisions.
A life focused on God provides answers to questions that once seemed insurmountable.
Used daily
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9
I’m not suggesting seeking the Lord merely as a response to a questionnaire, but rather advocating for a genuine and profound relationship with Him.
Through intimacy with the Creator, we can become better creations. And as creations, we are meant to worship Him.
You are an instrument of praise. God utilizes you daily and invites you to engage in everything that glorifies Him. Not because He requires your attention, but because your attention requires Him.
Humans incessantly seek meaning and purpose, but when this relentless pursuit is directed toward finding God, everything else easily aligns, and we continue seeking in Him, knowing that the answers we need lie within Him. Our commitment is this: Living to advance the Kingdom.
Channels for praise
“They will be my people, and I will be their God. I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear Me and that all will then go well for them and for their children after them.”
Jeremiah 32:38-39
Life acquires significance when lived in accordance with God’s principles. This entails relinquishing selfishness and ceasing to base decisions solely on our desires and aspirations, but rather on the desires and aspirations He has for us.
Thus, He is glorified through us. Our actions should aim to bring worship to Him, and our decisions should be made considering their impact on the Kingdom, rather than solely on our individual lives.
Choosing to prioritize worship and praise of God removes from our hearts anything that is not from Him, thereby creating more space for the Father.
Our objective should not be to attain personal goals, but rather to embody a living manifestation of divine grace and mercy. This is achieved through daily choices, regardless of their scale.
Living praise
“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand.”
Isaiah 64:8
Begin by cultivating an attitude of gratitude. Take notice of every detail and recognize that God, through these small elements, has orchestrated something even greater. We can perceive this daily when our hearts are receptive.
Living a life filled with gratitude transforms us in every aspect, as we walk with integrity, adhering to God’s word and guidance. It leads us, molds us, and brings glory to the Lord.
May every step we take fulfill the pledge of becoming instruments of praise to God. Let our lives be a symphony of worship, a song that magnifies the name of the Most High and inspires others to follow this same path.
Decide to be someone through whom God is glorified.
