
Prayer: Beyond fear
God, so often fear paralyzes and shames me, keeping me from living out what You have planned and dreamed for me. I know that fear does not make me less of a Christian, less loved, or less accepted by You. You know my frame, my limitations, my deepest longings. Teach me to bring my fears before You with honesty, choosing to walk beyond them, trusting that You welcome my weakness and equip me with every step. Help me to remember that faith is not the absence of fear, but the choice to trust above all. Just like Moses, who hesitated before the calling, and Joshua, who needed to hear “be strong and courageous” to move forward, I too need Your Word to remind me that I am not alone—I want to seek it before anything else. Strengthen my heart when I feel incapable, and show me that You do not abandon me in the middle of the battle. May my fear not drive me away from You, but draw me closer to Your embrace, where I find comfort and direction. Jesus, You know what it is to feel afraid.
