Prayer: Adopted by a Father

Father, thank You for calling me to Your table, where I find love, forgiveness, and fellowship. I recognize that my family is the first ministry You entrusted to me. Help me to love and care for the people around me—the ones who gave me life—with patience, responsibility, and sacrificial devotion, reflecting Your character in my home and in my daily life.

Thank You for making me part of Your spiritual family, for giving me brothers and sisters, and for being a present and kind Father, shaping and transforming my heart through the identity of a child that I received in You. In the church, I find brothers and sisters with whom I share the faith. Teach me to live in unity, forgiving and supporting the people who are part of my life, showing the brotherly love that unites us in Christ.

I am grateful to be adopted as Your child. In Christ, I received a new identity and full access to You. Help me to live as a child of light, reflecting Your love and grace in my daily actions.

My greatest desire is that people would see Your light in me—in every step I take.

Lord, may I never forget the privilege of sitting at Your table. Strengthen me to fulfill the calling of loving my biological and spiritual family, my friends, and everyone You’ve placed in my path, being a witness of Your Kingdom wherever I go.

In the name of Jesus, Your beloved Son, I pray. Amen.

New beginnings

Ruth’s story doesn’t belong only to the past; it resonates deeply today. In a world marked by loss, unexpected changes, and difficult new beginnings, her journey reveals that God continues to write stories of redemption amidst pain. Ruth didn’t have an easy life. She faced grief, uncertainty, and displacement. Yet, her faith, her choices, and her perseverance led her to experience something far greater than she could have imagined. And this also speaks directly to us today. In the midst of pain “But Ruth said, ‘Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.’” Ruth 1:16 Ruth loses everything that, humanly speaking, gave stability to her life. A widow, a foreigner, and without guarantees, she decides not to turn back. Ruth’s choice to stay with Naomi reveals a faith that doesn’t depend on comfort. Today, many people face similar losses—emotional, familial, professional. In the midst of all this, the decision to remain steadfast in God continues to be an act of faith. It’s not about having answers, but about choosing to trust even […]

A sound that only comes from us

A sound that only comes from us

All of creation reveals the glory of God. The sky, the sea, the mountains, and even the wind express, in their own way, who He is. There is a constant praise happening all around us, often imperceptible to our ears because it is so commonplace in our daily lives, yet fully known by God. Yet, there is something unique about human worship. There is a sound, a surrender, an awareness that only we, as His children, can offer. Nature praises for what it was created to be. We worship because we know who created us, and that changes everything. Creation glorifies “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” Psalm 19:1 Nature lives in constant witness to the greatness of the Creator. The sun rises and sets in perfect order, the seas obey their limits, and all creation responds to the voice of God without question. Psalm 148 invites the sun, the moon, the stars, and all the earth to praise the Lord. This praise does not depend on choice, feeling, or circumstance. Creation fulfills its purpose automatically, reflecting God’s majesty simply by existing. It doesn’t need to understand in order to obey; it simply responds […]

Prayer: I no longer walk alone

God, I know that many times I have trusted more in myself than in Your grace. Forgive me for every time I tried to carry burdens alone, forgetting that You are the One who sustains, strengthens, and guides me. May my heart not lean toward self-sufficiency, but find rest and direction only in You, the eternal Rock. Teach me to depend on You in everything. Even when circumstances seem to be under my control, I want to remember that it is not by might nor by my own power, but by Your Spirit that I live and can reach higher places. May I never forget that my very breath comes from You, and that without Your presence, I am only dust. Break down my pride and renew within me a humble spirit that bows before Your sovereignty, leading other people around me, in communion, to also worship You! Father, help me to trust in Your ways more than my own. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, I want to trust in the Lord with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding. I want to acknowledge Your hand in all my steps and see my paths made […]
