Sovereignty

Sovereignty

Sovereignty means: “Supreme power especially over a body politic. Freedom from external control, autonomy” Trusting in God’s sovereignty means recognizing that He is above all things and does not owe us explanations. He sees beyond what we can understand and calls us to rest in His will. True faith does not demand constant answers but stands firm in the certainty that God is perfect in all He does. God Does Not Owe Explanations God’s sovereignty means He rules over all things without the need to justify His actions. Often, we want to understand every detail of what happens in our lives, but God is not subject to our limitations. In Job 38:4, He asks: “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?” This passage reminds us that God existed before everything — including us and all the experiences we can accumulate. His knowledge goes far beyond what we can comprehend. He doesn’t need to explain His plans for them to be perfect. Our desire for control and understanding often leads us to seek immediate answers, but true faith means trusting even when we cannot see. When we constantly demand explanations, we place God on the same level as our […]

Crucified with Christ

The cross set us free, transformed our hearts and spirits, and gave us a new purpose. And it continues to renew us and give us new life at every moment. We were raised with Christ—we now have a new identity through Him! Freed from the Weight of Guilt “Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5 Before understanding the meaning of the cross, we carried guilt, mistakes, and memories that imprisoned us. We tried to make up for our failures, seeking to be accepted by God through human effort. But when we look at the crucified Jesus, we realize that He took upon Himself all that we could never bear. The cross changed our story and reminds us daily that forgiveness does not depend on what we do, but on what Christ has already done. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin; shame loses its power over us when we focus on God’s […]

Prayer: Putting on the Armor

Lord, I come before You acknowledging that my strength does not come from myself, but from You. Strengthen me in Your presence, for I know that without You I am vulnerable to the enemy’s schemes. Help me remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Beloved Father, teach me to put on Your armor daily. May I be girded with the belt of truth, living according to Your Word. Clothe me with the breastplate of righteousness, protecting my heart and guiding my actions according to Your will. May my feet be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, ready to proclaim Your message of salvation. Lord, give me the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one that try to strike me. Place on my head the helmet of salvation, guarding my mind in Christ Jesus, that I may stay focused on Your Kingdom. May I take up the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, to resist temptation and proclaim the truth with boldness and authority. Help me to persevere in prayer, seeking You in every […]

Armor of Christ

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” Ephesians 6:10 Before putting on the armor of God, it is essential to understand that our strength does not come from ourselves, but from the Lord. We must be strengthened by God’s power, for only in Him do we have the ability to resist the enemy’s schemes. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces; therefore, we need divine protection. The armor of God is given to us so we may stand firm against the attacks of the enemy. Without it, we are vulnerable and easily deceived. The devil uses doubts, fears, and temptations to lead us away from the truth, and only spiritual armor can keep us protected. Obedience to the Word and constant prayer are essential to prepare us for this daily battle. To seek our strength in God means to develop a life of intimacy with Him. Prayer, studying the Bible, and fellowship with other believers help strengthen our faith. Just as a soldier prepares before going into battle, we must always be clothed in God’s presence, trusting that He will give us the victory. Parts of the Armor The armor described in […]

Perfect timing

Learning to wait with faith and patience strengthens us spiritually, shapes our character, and draws us closer to the Lord. When we rest in His sovereignty, we find peace, knowing that He has the best for us. A Purpose for Every Season “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:“ Ecclesiastes 3:1 God is never late nor early; He works at the perfect time. Often, we seek immediate answers, but He teaches us to trust and wait. Every phase of life has a purpose, and even when we don’t understand it, God is shaping our character and preparing us for what’s ahead. Waiting on the Lord does not mean inactivity but rather a season of learning and growth, acting in pursuit of His purpose. God uses the waiting period to strengthen our faith, teach us patience, and draw us closer to Him. Just as a tree needs time to develop deep roots before growing strong, our lives require a firm foundation in trusting God. When we surrender our plans to Him, we can rest assured that He is in control. Even in times of uncertainty, we must remember that God’s plans are greater […]

Prayer: A Holy Life

Lord, thank You for choosing me and setting me apart for You. I know that I am not worthy by my own strength, but by Your grace, I have been called to live in holiness. Teach me, Lord, to understand Your purpose and to remain faithful to the path You have prepared for me. Help me to reject everything that draws me away from You and to dedicate myself entirely to Your will. Purify my thoughts, my words, and my actions so that my life may reflect Your glory. May I be a light in this world, living according to Your principles. Lord, strengthen me in moments of temptation and weakness. I know the world will try to pull me away from Your calling, but I trust that Your Spirit will guide me. Empower me to deny sin and obey You above all. I desire to walk according to Your heart. Separated by God

Holiness is not a distant or unattainable concept but a calling that God extends to each of us. In a world full of distractions and challenges, pursuing holiness means living a life set apart for Him, grounded in His Word, and guided by the Holy Spirit. We were created to dwell in His presence, finding strength to persevere and experiencing the true peace that only He can give. The Call to Holiness “But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.’” 1 Peter 1:15-16 Holiness is not an option for Christians—it is a direct calling from God. In the Bible, we are instructed to be holy in all aspects of our lives because He is holy. This means that holiness should shape our thoughts, words, and actions. It is not just about avoiding sin but about actively pursuing a life that reflects the character of Christ. God does not call us to holiness based on our own strength but through the grace that empowers us. Being set apart for God requires continuous transformation, where our daily choices reflect our commitment to Him. It […]

Prayer: Anchored in Grace

Lord, in Your grace, I find refuge and rest. I know that nothing I am or do can make me worthy of Your love, yet You love me unconditionally. Thank You for reaching me even in my weakness, for sustaining me when I feel like giving up, and for reminding me every day that my identity is firmly rooted in You. Teach me to live under this grace and not under the weight of guilt or perfection. May my response to Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross be a surrendered heart, willing to obey and walk in righteousness—not out of obligation, but out of gratitude for all that You are in my life. When struggles come and fear tries to paralyze me, help me remember that Your grace is enough. Let me trust in Your unmerited favor and rest in the certainty that You are in control of all things. Even when I do not understand Your plans, I want to remain steadfast, knowing that Your goodness never fails. Father, give me a teachable heart so that I may learn to depend more on You and less on myself. May each day be lived for Your glory, recognizing that I am […]

Under grace

God’s presence is more than just a fleeting moment; it is the place where we were created to dwell and seek daily. From the very beginning, He called us into deep communion, but sin separated us from this reality. In Christ, that connection was restored, and now we are invited to remain in Him every day. We must stand firm in the hope of eternal life that He has promised. Housing “Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” John 15:4 God’s presence is not a place we simply pass through; it is the eternal home of those who love Him. From creation, we were made to live in communion with Him, but sin distanced us from that reality. Through His sacrifice, Christ restored our access to the Father’s presence, and now we are called to remain in Him every day. Dwelling in God’s presence means maintaining a constant relationship, not just experiencing isolated moments of visitation. He desires to lead us through the Holy Spirit so that we may live according to His will. This connection […]

Lord, I come before You with a heart longing for Your presence. I know that without Your Spirit, my life becomes empty and directionless. Holy Spirit, guide me in every step, teaching me to walk according to the Father’s will. I know that in Your presence, I find rest and security. May I never grow accustomed to a life distant from You, but always seek to be in communion with You, listening to Your voice and following Your ways. Purify my heart and renew my mind so that I may discern what comes from You. May my life reflect Your light and love so that others may be touched by Your grace through me. May my faith not depend on circumstances but be firmly rooted in who You are. I surrender completely to You. Remove from me anything that keeps me from experiencing the fullness of Your presence. Sweet presence

“As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on Him.” Matthew 3:16 Since biblical times, the dove has been a symbol of peace and purity. When the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus at His baptism, He came in the form of a dove, demonstrating the gentleness and peace that accompany His presence. Just as a dove does not dwell in places of turmoil and unrest, the Holy Spirit manifests where hearts are humble and open to receive Him. The presence of the Spirit brings a peace that surpasses all understanding. He calms us in the storms of life, guiding us with tenderness. His touch is not forceful but serene and transformative, leading us into a deeper relationship with God. In Genesis 8, it says that Noah sent out a dove to find dry land after the flood. In the same way, the Holy Spirit guides us to a safe place in God’s presence. He leads us to true peace, drawing us away from the chaos of the world and firmly establishing us in divine grace. Gracious Spirit “After […]

Discerning God’s Will

I’ve mentioned this a few times before, but I want to remind you again: Alone, you may get somewhere, but with God, you will go much further. Your work and strength may keep you moving, but only by walking with Christ will you reach a place far greater than what you had planned. Seeking God “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:12-13 To discern God’s will, it is essential to seek intimacy with Him through prayer and the Bible. He is always here, guiding us and revealing His plans, but when we seek Him and dive deeper into His Word, we become more sensitive to His voice, developing a courageous heart full of trust in the Father. The Bible is a lamp to our feet (Psalm 119:105), illuminating the path we should follow. That’s why dedicating daily time to reading Scripture helps us understand divine principles and align our lives with God’s will. Moreover, throughout the Bible, we see that Jesus often withdrew to pray, understanding how essential that moment was for His ministry and journey. When […]

Prayer: Walking in Lightness

Beloved Lord, I thank You because, in Your infinite goodness, You offer me a light path and an easy burden. Help me to lay the weights of my heart in Your hands, trusting fully in Your care and provision. May I live with the certainty that You are my rest and my refuge. Father, teach me to depend less on my own strength and more on Your grace. May I not get lost in anxieties or pressures that draw me away from You, but may every step I take be aligned with Your will and perfect plans. Grant me discernment to identify what unnecessarily burdens me and wisdom to lay it at Your feet. I want to walk the path You have prepared for me, experiencing the peace that comes only from Your presence and Spirit. May I seek You not only in moments of difficulty but every day of my life. May my communion with You be constant, allowing Your Word to light my steps and Your voice to guide my choices in every moment. Thank You for Your patience, love, and unwavering care, Father. Zeal for the temple

Zeal for the temple

The same zeal with which Jesus cleansed the temple in the story of Matthew 21 is necessary to purify the church today. We are called to this—to be purified and to also become a channel of purification. Jesus Cares for the Temple “Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. ‘It is written,’ he said to them, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a den of robbers.’”Matthew 21:12-13 (NIV) When Jesus entered the temple and saw the merchants and money changers disrespecting God’s house, He reacted with righteous indignation. He did not tolerate corruption and irreverence because He understood the true purpose of that place: to be a house of prayer. Just as Jesus cleansed the physical temple, we must seek purity and holiness within the church, rejecting anything that dishonors God’s name. The church is not just a building or location but the Body of Christ. Jesus teaches us that zeal for holiness should be a priority because He desires a pure and blameless church. This zeal should motivate […]

Prayer: Constant God

God, I know You are everything I need. No circumstance in this world changes who You are, and I am grateful for Your constant presence and promises in my life, which remain steadfast beyond human struggles. Our limitations often try to confine You, but may my heart always remember Your infinite mercy and love, and how Your words are eternal and unchanging. Teach me, Father, to trust in You completely, surrendering every decision and plan into Your hands. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on the Kingdom and on eternal purpose so that the challenges of this world won’t shake my faith or divert my heart. I know I will never be deserving of Your love, yet You love me and care for me with every step I take. My salvation does not come from me or my efforts but from Your grace. Guide my eyes so that they stay focused on You. May I seek Your presence and direction in prayer before making any decision. I don’t want to walk according to my own understanding but in alignment with Your plans and purposes. Father, do not let anything else take Your place in my life. You deserve the […]

Kingdom Focused

We are human, and daily, we deal with other humans—with their mistakes, failures, and shortcomings. Because we are so accustomed to living with people, we sometimes project human traits onto God in our minds, thinking He is like us, with flaws and limitations. But even though He once became flesh and walked among us, He remained God. Constant God “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 It’s not because people have abandoned you that God will do the same. Or because you lost a job that God stopped being your provider. People are not as constant as God; they easily break promises and lose focus on their goals. But God remains steadfast, strengthening and guiding those who seek direction and power in Christ. It is crucial that our foundation is built on God, on His truths and His presence. Do not rely on human understanding—it can frustrate your plans. Instead, focus on God’s grace and follow it. Seek in Christ “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing… Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and […]

Prayer: Burning without consuming

I invite you to say this prayer, a moment to surrender all areas and situations of your life to the Lord, allowing Him to take control and use you constantly to bear fruit for His Kingdom. Remember, you don’t have to pray exactly as written here; I know everyone has their own way of speaking to the Father. But if you’d like to follow along, it will be my pleasure. Prayer Lord, I want to be like the bush that burned before Moses: a flame that does not consume itself, a reflection of Your presence. May I burn continually with love, faith, and obedience, fulfilling Your purpose with every step I take. I acknowledge that I am not indispensable to Your work, but I thank You for Your grace that chooses to use me. Use me, Lord, to draw others to You so that everyone around me may know Your greatness and mercy. Teach me to remain in Your presence without being consumed by the pressures of this world. May my strength come from You, and may I fully trust in Your power that sustains me. Make me burn with passion for Your Kingdom, guided by Your Holy Spirit. The […]

Something new!

The start of a new year is always an opportunity for renewal and reflection. In times of uncertainty, we often question what the future holds and what challenges may arise. However, the Word of God offers us promises that can strengthen us and guide us through every step. In it, we find reasons to trust fully in God, knowing that He has control and plans for our lives. Facing New Beginnings “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19 He is doing something new. This promise teaches us that, even in the face of difficulties and uncertainties, God is working in and around us. We must keep our faith firm, believing that He will open new paths and provide new beginnings. Faith in God is the key to facing the challenges of each new start. As we trust in His promises, we can overcome obstacles and grow, knowing that He always has the best for us. Only He can guide us in wisdom, strength, and love. In every new stage, you can be sure that He will […]

Settle your debts

When the end of the year approaches, we reflect deeply on what has passed and what lies ahead for the next steps. But to move forward into the new, we must resolve lingering issues that hold us back. So, what are the steps to do this? Repentance “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:7-9 God gives us second chances. He knows that we, as humans, fail. Regardless of the error, shortcoming, or failure, we must have a sincere heart—toward ourselves, others, and most importantly, God. This leads us to true repentance and a change of mind. To follow Christ, it is essential that we experience a renewal of our thoughts. When God is present in our lives, we experience true transformation and live at peace with our past, present, and future, acting with wisdom and discernment. Humility “Before […]

Prayer: Come as you are!

The Lord knows our humanity, understands that we are imperfect, and yet chooses to love us. When we deserve only God’s wrath, He responds with love, a result of His mercy and grace. Shall we pray together about this? Prayer Father, I come to You acknowledging my imperfections and limitations, but also remembering Your love that sees beyond them, giving me a new identity. Thank You for loving me and staying by my side, even when I fail and drift away from You. Teach me to trust in Your grace, which reaches me even in my worst moments, renewing my strength and hope each day. I can draw near to You even in my brokenness because I trust in the power of Your grace and mercy, which rebuilds and shapes me. I know I don’t need to be perfect for You to accept and love me, but I desire to become more like Your Son Jesus every day. In a world that demands so much, I am reminded that Your love is unconditional and not based on what I do, but on Who You are. Imperfect and loved

God Doesn’t Just Love Our Best Version God doesn’t love only the best version of us—the one that prays every day, follows His commandments, and lives an exemplary life. It wasn’t just that version of us that received salvation. Jesus came to heal, transform, and renew those in need. He loved and still loves our imperfect, broken, and flawed version. We have been rescued! Reconciled “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 God does not expect perfection from us. He knows our struggles, our mistakes, and our weaknesses, but He desires that we strive to become more like Jesus. When we stray from His will, when we make mistakes, or even when we rebel against His plans, He doesn’t abandon us. He sent His Son so that, even in our imperfect state, we could be reconciled with Him. God loves us not for what we do right but for who we are in Him, regardless of our faults. Our mistakes are not accepted or loved by Him, and we must seek change and transformation. However, we are received by Him above and beyond our errors because […]

Truly transformed

You can change everything in your life: a new job, a marriage, new friendships, travels, and countless other things. Yet, even if you change everything around you, nothing will truly change in your life unless God changes the times and seasons. It is He who brings fresh air and new directions. God of Movement “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.” Romans 12:2 All these changes may bring a sense of novelty, but external changes cannot transform the essence of who we are. Often, we try to fill internal gaps by altering our surroundings, but the emptiness remains when God is not at the center of these changes. True transformation occurs when the Lord renews our minds and hearts. He is the one who gives us purpose and direction. Without divine intervention, even the most significant external changes will not satisfy the deep needs of the soul. Creator of New Beginnings “He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge […]

Remembering that you don’t need to pray exactly as I’m going to say here. I know that everyone has their own way of communicating with the Father, and it is important that we seek this intimacy. Feel free to talk to the Lord in your way. But if you wish, I am here to accompany you in this prayer. Prayer Lord, thank You for making me salt and light in this world, reflecting Your love and grace with every step I take. May I bring a fresh taste where there is sorrow and shine amid darkness, guiding others to You. Allow Your light to be seen by those who do not yet know Your goodness.
