Prayer: The path to the promise

God, today I come before You acknowledging that the desert has never been a sign of abandonment, but of revelation. Help me understand that even when my steps feel weary, when the hot wind drains me, and when the silence scares me, I know You are still working deeply within me. May I see the desert not as punishment, but as the place where You shape my character, refine my faith, and prepare my heart for Your promise. Just as You led Israel for forty years, teach me to remember the passage in Deuteronomy 8:2 (NIV): “Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years…”Show me that every detail of my journey has purpose and that nothing escapes Your control. When my strength is small and I don’t know which direction to take, I know Your presence guides me. May I learn to depend more on You than on any human support. Jesus, You also went through the desert and overcame. So I ask You: strengthen my heart when temptations come, teach me to walk in Your steps, and when I feel hungry, thirsty, tired, or uncertain, be my sustenance. Reveal who […]

Prayer: Perfected in the fire

Lord, I know that true faith is not born from easy days, but forged in the flames of trials. Even when I do not understand the path, I choose to trust in You. Remind me always that I am not tested to be destroyed, but to be molded, purified, and strengthened. Teach me to rest in Your purpose, even when the fire feels too intense. You know my limitations and my fear in the face of difficulties at times. But I know that the same God who allowed the fire for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego was also inside the furnace with them and did not let it consume them. Do not let my eyes focus on the possible pain, but turn my attention to Your constant presence in the midst of it. May I see Your hand even in the hardest circumstances, and learn to recognize Your care even in the furnace. May the fire transform me, burning away pride, self-sufficiency, and doubt, and reveal a heart completely surrendered to You. Purify me like gold, so that my faith may become precious in Your eyes. Through it all, may Your name be glorified. Father, I believe that every furnace has […]

Faith tested by fire

Faith tested by fire

Faith is easy when everything is going well, but it is forged in the flames of trials. We are not tested for our destruction but to be purified and strengthened—never beyond what we can bear. Just as gold is refined by fire, our faith is strengthened when it remains firm in the midst of adversity. It’s in those moments that we move from merely talking about trusting God to truly living that trust, even when we don’t understand the path ahead. Faith that endures “So that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 1:7 Peter compares faith to gold, which must be purified to reach its true value. Likewise, God allows the fire of trials to remove impurities—pride, doubt, self-reliance. The fire doesn’t come to consume, but to transform. When we remain firm even without seeing the outcome, we are being shaped into the image of Christ. True faith isn’t measured by the absence of struggles but by perseverance through them. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were not spared from the furnace, but […]

Prayer: Eternally healed

Father, thank You for being the God who heals—who transforms us in both visible and invisible ways. Even when physical healing doesn’t come, You are present, working in the unseen. Help me to recognize that Your work goes beyond the flesh—that healing is also divine and spiritual. Even in the face of death or loss, You are the true victory. Teach me to trust in the promise of eternal life with You. Even when we are not healed in this life, we receive eternal healing by Your side. When it is Your will, heal us here and extend our days on earth with health—but help my heart understand that even when we don’t see healing with human eyes, we have already gained eternal life in You. May I learn from Jesus and experience the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help me live in the hope of the healing that is already taking place, even when I cannot see it. May I not fix my eyes on things happening the way I desire, but on who You are—a Father who cares and pours out His grace. Let each day of my life on earth be marked by faith, not by doubt […]

Invisible healing

Invisible healing

Losing someone we love is one of the hardest moments in the human journey. The pain of longing and the physical absence seem to contradict our faith and often make us question why God doesn’t heal or stop the suffering. However, the truth is that God always heals—sometimes in a visible way, other times in an eternal one. When we are in Christ, even death becomes a doorway to life, for He has conquered it. Different forms “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 We often expect healing to come in a physical, immediate, and visible form. We long to see the body restored, the pain fade, and the smile return. But God sees beyond what human eyes can perceive. His healing is not limited to the flesh—it reaches the spirit, the soul, and eternity. There are pains He does not remove but transforms into lessons, comfort, and faith. Spiritual healing goes deeper than any human medicine can reach. God doesn’t just remove sickness; He restores the heart, renews the mind, and strengthens hope. Faith does not […]

Prayer: Empowered for the calling

Father, thank You for calling me from the womb and adopting me as Your beloved child. May I not be intimidated by the size of the mission You have placed in my hands, because I know I will not walk this path alone. Strengthen me to say “yes” with courage, knowing that the calling does not depend on my strength, but on Your presence within me. When I feel inadequate or afraid of not being enough, remind my heart that You choose me daily so that Your glory may be revealed through my weakness—and I choose to follow You. May I live in the faith that the purpose of the calling is to see Your power working where my strength cannot reach, so that I remain dependent on You and spread Your love to others, blooming for Your Kingdom. The grace that sustains me is greater than any challenge. God, may Your seal rest upon me, just as Your Spirit rested upon David even before he ascended the throne. Empower me to remain faithful in the deserts, to endure the battles, and to glorify You with all my heart, without seeking human recognition. Teach me to pursue anointing more than […]

Prayer: God works through “yes”

Father, thank You that Your strength does not depend on mine, but that through my “yes,” You strengthen me to keep going. Thank You for teaching me each day that obedience is not following only when everything seems right, but believing and acting even before seeing. May I have the courage to obey Your commandments, even when my understanding fails, trusting that in every obedient step lies the seed of a miracle. Jesus asked the servants to fill the jars with water—and they witnessed a miracle. He asked Peter to cast his nets again after catching nothing all night—and it became the greatest catch of his life! So often, the miracle stands beside the act of faith, the obedient step, even when the situation appears impossible. Lord, do not let my faith be made of mere words or comfortable beliefs. Awaken in me a burning desire to manifest Your Kingdom through obedience, even when it costs me everything. Help me see that the true miracle is not only about visible results, but about the inner transformation that happens when I choose to trust You. May my life be marked by gestures of faith—by steady, daily actions in the details—that reveal […]

Miracle in obedience

Miracle in obedience

Obedience is a key that opens doors human strength could never move. Many times, we wait to see the miracle before obeying—but God calls us to obey before seeing. In John 2:5, at the wedding in Cana, Mary said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you”. That simple instruction preceded Jesus’ first miracle—the transformation of water into wine. The miracle didn’t begin when the wine appeared, but when someone decided to obey. A Step Directed “Simon answered, ‘Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because You say so, I will let down the nets.’” Luke 5:5 To obey is to acknowledge that God knows what He’s doing, even when we don’t understand the path. Peter experienced this when Jesus asked him to cast the nets again after a long, fruitless night. With a single act of faith, the impossible happened—the fish came, the boat overflowed, and Peter’s heart was transformed. Many times, the miracle we’ve been asking for is on the other side of simple obedience—a single step guided by God. The Kingdom of God moves by faith, and true faith is expressed through practice—through the daily “yes” we give to God without hesitation or […]

Prayer: Changing the heart

Prayer: Changing the heart

Father, I recognize that many times I have prayed expecting a visible change—a clear answer that would ease my worries, take me out of one place, and move me to another in the blink of an eye. But I know that You will not always alter the circumstances the way I desire. Forgive my impatience and my doubt of Your love when I should be trusting even in the silence. Help me understand that even when I don’t see external change, You are working within me, and in Your perfect time, everything—including myself—will be transformed. Teach me the mature prayer that Jesus prayed—the one that surrenders control, placing my will under Yours. Teach me to pray not only for relief but for my heart to be shaped by Your grace, for my inner being to be renewed even if my circumstances remain still. God, I pour everything at Your feet—my disappointments, wounds, anguish, joys, dreams, and deepest desires. May my understanding of prayer not be tied to what I see, but to what Your heart has prepared for me. Grant me peace beyond understanding. In the midst of the storm, may my hands still rise in worship and my heart […]

Did God not hear me?

Praying doesn’t always mean seeing circumstances change before our eyes. Being removed from certain situations is often not God’s plan. Sometimes the circumstances remain the same, yet something deep happens within us. If we look closely, with open and sensitive hearts, we’ll see that God, in His infinite wisdom, may not remove the problem—but instead shape us through it. Prayer is not only a key that moves heaven but also an instrument that aligns our heart with the Father’s. Transforming the inner self “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10 Many times, we approach prayer as a means for external change, hoping God will fix what troubles us. But just as David understood, the true power of prayer lies in transforming what’s inside. When we kneel, open our hearts, and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal what needs healing, what needs to die, and what needs to grow, real transformation begins. We must tell God our desires, dreams, and plans—not just to receive or make Him follow our steps, but to expose ourselves to His presence and allow Him to touch what’s hidden, reshaping our hearts so that we follow […]

Resurrection and eternal life!

Resurrection and eternal life!

“And this is what he promised us—eternal life.” 1 John 2:25 Eternal life is the greatest gift we receive in Christ. It is not something earned by human merit, but by God’s grace through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. This promise reminds us that death is not the end, but the door to eternity with the Lord. Living with this certainty transforms the way we face the present. When we know our story does not end here, we can better deal with pain, loss, and challenges, for nothing is final. The hope of eternal life sustains us and gives us reason to remain steadfast, even in the midst of adversity. Jesus Himself declared that He is the resurrection and the life, and that whoever believes in this truth, though they die, will live. This is the guarantee that by believing in Him, we will experience victory over death. Eternal life is the fulfillment of God’s love, which never abandons us, not even in the face of what we see as the end. Learning and transformation “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into […]

Prayer: Seeking God’s “No”

Father, I don’t always understand Your ways. But I am grateful because, even when I feel like I can’t go on, You continue to care for me. May I understand that Your true care sometimes includes setting “limits” in my life. Not to hurt me, but to protect me, shape me, and teach me about dependence. When I face difficulties that seem beyond my strength, when I ask You to remove afflictions and yet they remain, help me remember that Your grace is sufficient for me. May I not feel abandoned, but secure in the truth that You are strengthening me and perfecting my faith in the place of my weakness. May Your grace be my foundation, even in silence and trial. May I not see my limits as failures, but as spaces where I can experience more of You. Give me patience to wait, courage to remain faithful, and wisdom not to rush ahead, trusting in the right time You have prepared for me. I know You will never stop loving me or working in my life. I trust that You are orchestrating something greater. I want to depend completely on You and on Your care. I don’t want […]

The limit of God’s care

The limit of God’s care

We don’t always understand God’s ways, especially when He doesn’t respond as we would like or allows certain situations to remain in our lives. But Scripture teaches us that God’s “enough” is not a sign of abandonment, but rather a demonstration of His care and the sufficiency of His grace. Grace That Sustains “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’” 2 Corinthians 12:9 The apostle Paul asked three times for God to remove the “thorn in the flesh,” but the answer he received was a loving “no.” That “no” was not rejection, but teaching. God’s grace did not remove the pain but empowered Paul to endure it and even to boast in his weakness, for it was there that the power of Christ was fully revealed. The same happens with us. Many times, we ask God to take away our difficulties, but He answers: “My grace is sufficient.” Not because He ignores our pain, but because He wants us to experience a strength that does not come from us, but from Him. It is in that place that we learn deep dependence and trust. God’s response teaches us […]

What is more powerful than God

What is more powerful than God

In Exodus 7 to 9, we see the narrative of the plagues of Egypt and the direct confrontation between the power of God and the illusion of human power. Pharaoh, hardened in his heart, believed he could resist the Lord, and his magicians tried to replicate the signs performed by Moses. For a time, it seemed they could imitate, but soon it became evident that only God had the true power. This story reminds us that, in our lives, the world may seem to offer strength, stability, or solutions similar to God’s, but nothing compares to the sovereignty of the Lord. Unsustained imitation “Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts. Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake…” Exodus 7:11 The magicians managed to reproduce some of Moses’ signs, like turning the staff into a snake or imitating the initial plagues. This shows that the world may offer alternatives that resemble God’s work: riches, power, pleasure, and even a false spirituality. However, this imitation cannot last long, for it lacks the true source. Human power, limited as it is, always tries to compete with […]

Prayer: Christ in every step

Father, I know that many times I underestimate the power of the small choices in my life. Help me to understand that every gesture, no matter how small it seems, can be an act of holiness when done with the intention of honoring You and following in Your steps. May my life not be guided by automatic routine, but by a vigilant heart, ready to reflect Your presence in words, actions, and thoughts each day. Fill me with discernment to choose wisely in the simplest moments: in the way I treat, forgive, act, and speak with others. In how I use my time and in what I seek in my daily routine. Teach me to act like Jesus and to have authority to act in His name in everything I do—transforming the ordinary into an encounter with Him and making my life an expression of gratitude and praise to the Lord. You are my perfect example—may I live with Your love pulsing in my heart and Your light shining through my actions. Even in daily decisions, may I reflect Your character and contribute to building up Your Kingdom. May every choice reveal that I follow the Way, the Truth, and […]

Prayer: Burning myself

Father, I so easily cling to my own achievements and merits instead of depending on Your grace. Forgive me for so often conditioning our communion on my efforts or possessions. Teach me to remember that I received Your Spirit not by human merit, but by faith, believing in Your Word. Help me burn the symbolic “chariots” that keep me bound. I want to burn the pride that believes it is by my efforts that You remain with me, the plans that exclude Your supernatural power, and the self-sufficiency that ignores the dependence every child must have on the Father. May I truly surrender my strategies and control into Your hands. God, lead me beyond the earthly conditions I believe bring me closer to You. Show me that Your Kingdom is accessible in simplicity, in the struggle, and in the silence. Help me understand that You dwell in my imperfect routine and in my genuine faith, not in the perfection I strive for. May I live by faith and not by sight, trusting in the promises that surpass every situation. When circumstances seem unfavorable, affirm in my heart that I was made to walk in trust in You. May Your presence […]

By works or by the Spirit?

“I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard?” Galatians 3:2 How often do we condition our relationship with God on earthly circumstances? We say we seek Him first, but deep down, we live as if we need certain achievements to truly draw near to Him. Galatians 3:2 confronts us with a crucial question: did we receive the Spirit through works or through faith? Every moment is the right moment to reevaluate where our heart truly is. Beyond the Conditions “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33 We often say God is our priority, but in practice, we wait to seek Him “once life is in order”—when we have a more comfortable home, a better job, or a calmer routine. We condition our relationship with the Father on earthly stability, as if He needed those things to draw near to us. As if everything rested on the foundation of God, but He were the foundation of nothing. The Kingdom of God is not limited by circumstances. […]

Prayer: Surrender to the Father

God, in the midst of the busyness of my days, I come before You in silence and humility. I acknowledge that so often I’ve become occupied with many things and neglected what is most important: Your presence. Forgive me for every time I’ve placed You second, allowing tasks, responsibilities, and distractions to dominate my heart. Today, I ask You: teach me to pause, to hear Your voice, and to prioritize seeking Your presence above all else. I want to seek You with a whole and available heart. I know it’s not You who moves away—it’s me who gets distracted by the noise of this world and changes my steps. I want to learn from Mary, who chose to sit at Your feet, rather than follow the path of Martha’s busyness. I know Martha longed to serve and welcome You well into her home, but give me the wisdom to reorganize my life and time around what truly matters: communion with You. Father, I no longer want to offer You what’s left over. I desire to give You my best—my first thoughts in the morning, my attention throughout the day, and my rest in the evening. May Your Word dwell richly […]

Too busy for God

Too busy for God

We live in a world that glorifies and encourages performance, control, and busyness. In the midst of rush and anxiety, we often forget something essential: God moves when we rest in Him. The areas where we are overly anxious become closed zones for the Lord’s move, because we insist on solving everything with our own strength. Rest is not the same as inactivity, but rather trust. Where God Works “Do not be anxious about anything…” Philippians 4:6 I like to talk about this here, to reach more and more people. This is a very present topic in our lives and it’s extremely important to be discussed. Anxiety reflects our desire to control what is beyond our reach. When we are restless, worried, and impatient, we close our ears to God’s voice and block our hearts from His work. Faith trusts in the Lord’s timing, while the anxious mind wants to anticipate the future and, as a result, skip important steps. When we understand that anxiety doesn’t solve anything, but rather gets in the way, we take the first step toward spiritual rest. God doesn’t move in hearts that do not listen to Him, and anxiety often speaks so loudly that […]

A new way of living

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33 The Kingdom of God “The time has come,” He said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” Mark 1:15 Jesus came into the world announcing a new reality: the Kingdom of God. Not a political kingdom with borders, but a spiritual realm that transforms the heart and life of those who believe. This Kingdom begins within us and is reflected in our attitudes, values, and decisions. Jesus taught that the Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed (Mark 4:30-32)—small in human eyes, but it grows and transforms everything around it. It is also like a hidden treasure (Matthew 13:44), worth more than any earthly possession once found. These teachings show that living under God’s rule means letting go of what is temporary to receive what is eternal. To live the Kingdom is to love as Jesus loved, forgive as He forgave, and serve as He served. It’s not a distant future, but a present reality for those who surrender to God’s will and place Christ at the center of everything. […]

Prayer: Beyond fear

God, so often fear paralyzes and shames me, keeping me from living out what You have planned and dreamed for me. I know that fear does not make me less of a Christian, less loved, or less accepted by You. You know my frame, my limitations, my deepest longings. Teach me to bring my fears before You with honesty, choosing to walk beyond them, trusting that You welcome my weakness and equip me with every step. Help me to remember that faith is not the absence of fear, but the choice to trust above all. Just like Moses, who hesitated before the calling, and Joshua, who needed to hear “be strong and courageous” to move forward, I too need Your Word to remind me that I am not alone—I want to seek it before anything else. Strengthen my heart when I feel incapable, and show me that You do not abandon me in the middle of the battle. May my fear not drive me away from You, but draw me closer to Your embrace, where I find comfort and direction. Jesus, You know what it is to feel afraid. In Gethsemane, in drops of blood, in the anguish before the […]

Am I less of a christian for being afraid?

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.“ Psalm 56:3 Above fear “But Moses said to God, ‘Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” Exodus 3:11 The story of Moses shows us that even the greatest leaders chosen by God faced fear. When the Lord called him to deliver the people of Israel, Moses immediately expressed his insecurity. He was afraid, questioned his ability, and even asked God to send someone else (Exodus 4:13), someone more qualified. This teaches us that fear is part of the journey but it cannot be the final voice that determines our decisions. Even in the face of his insecurity, Moses chose to obey. God reminded him that he wouldn’t be alone (Exodus 3:12). That promise was what sustained Moses to take the first steps. He didn’t go because he was fearless, but because God was with him, so he had nothing to fear. The same applies to us: God calls us for our obedience and trust in Him. Courage exists when, even with fear, we choose to walk forward. Many times we become paralyzed before even starting because we fear failure, feel incapable, or fear […]

Prayer: Worship in Stillness

Father, thank You for allowing us to be in Your presence for another day. I acknowledge that I don’t always perceive You in the moments of silence and routine. Many times, I wait for grand manifestations and forget that You are also present in the stillness. Help me understand that boredom is not the absence of You, but an opportunity to worship You in a deeper and more sincere way, truly seeking You. Teach me to value the simple and repetitive moments of daily life. May I find joy in serving You even in the most ordinary tasks, knowing that every act done with love and dedication is a form of praise to You. May I not despise the ordinary, but see in it a chance to grow in intimacy with You. Holy Spirit, strengthen my faith so that I may remain steadfast in my walk, even when I don’t feel intense emotions or see immediate results. Remind me that faithfulness in the little prepares me for the greater, and that You are shaping my character in every small act of obedience. May I follow Your example of humility and service. Lord, I come before You acknowledging that my strength does not come from myself, but from You. Strengthen me in Your presence, for I know that without You I am vulnerable to the enemy’s schemes. Help me remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Beloved Father, teach me to put on Your armor daily. May I be girded with the belt of truth, living according to Your Word. Clothe me with the breastplate of righteousness, protecting my heart and guiding my actions according to Your will. May my feet be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, ready to proclaim Your message of salvation. Lord, give me the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one that try to strike me. Place on my head the helmet of salvation, guarding my mind in Christ Jesus, that I may stay focused on Your Kingdom. May I take up the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, to resist temptation and proclaim the truth with boldness and authority. Help me to persevere in prayer, seeking You in every […]
