Prayer: A quiet night’s sleep!
How are your nights sleeping? Have you been able to relax? The Bible instructs us that the night was made for sleeping, but often with the rush of day to day at bed we can not relax, a thousand and one things pass in our minds.
The moment before we sleep, is not the time to look for a solution to our challenges, but to give everything in God’s hands, trusting that he is already working in each of the areas you need.
Our Lord takes care of us, whether during the day or at night, and today we will pray for a quiet and safe night’s sleep, so that you wake up renewed, willing for another day of many blessings.
I leave here a passage especially for you today:
I lay down and slept; I woke up because the Lord sustained me.
Psalms 3:5
Remembering that you don’t have to repeat the prayer exactly as I will leave it here, because each of us has a specific way to communicate with the Lord. But if you want to accompany me, it will be a pleasure, feel free to speak your way.
Prayer
Dear God, I thank you for another night’s sleep, for my day and blessings that the Lord has given me throughout it. Thank you for your protection, care, love and mercy. I thank you for making the night for the rest of your children and for having a protected place where I can lie down and rest.
I also pray to You to bring peace to my heart, everything that is distressing me, afflicting me or taking away my sleep, I rebuke in the authority I have in the name of Jesus Christ. May my mind and heart be still, I ask You to take care of my uncertainties, insecurities and problems.
I know that I can rest, so the Lord takes care of everything I need, but although I know this, sometimes there is a restlessness that does not come from You, so I rebuke it and declare about my life and that of my family, peace, happiness, prosperity, quiet nights of sleep, health and love for the Lord.
Father, please cover me with your roasts, may no evil come to me this night, may no evil come to my tent, keep my house. I pray and pray that the Lord will cover me and all those I love with the blood of the lamb, freeing us from the tricks of the enemy.
My God, yours is the power, the glory and the honor forever. It is in Jesus’ name that I pray, give thanks, and ask that my words may reach the Lord like a sweet perfume!
