Have you made plans?

Have you made plans?

Are you a person who plans or who prefers to see where it goes? I particularly have always planned everything, which does not mean that everything has happened as I thought. But the point is that I have always made plans, about my education, lifestyle, family and so many other areas that I consider important.

The Bible teaches us to plan, in Luke 14:28, it is written: “Which of you, if you want to build a tower, first don’t sit down and calculate the price, to see if you have enough money to complete it? As reported in this verse, planning is essential if we want to make our dreams come true.

In another passage of the Bible, Proverbs 13:16, we are also warned about the need for prudence, which is so necessary when we have dreams and plans, in the first place so that we can evaluate whether or not such a desire is convenient and plan how to make it come true.

Act upon your dreams

I believe that every realization begins in our dreams, one day a little seed sprouts in our hearts and minds, which may or may not be cultivated – now if you’ll allow me, I’d like to use a simple example to better explain what I’ve been reflecting on – I’m sure that children dream of miraculous things, but they don’t always cultivate, and that’s why we don’t have an absurd number of dancers, astronauts and firemen in the world.

Anyway, this happens because after dreaming, we ponder about it and it’s a good thing that we do it, because that’s where we separate the dreams that are just for fun, from those that in fact can be something more. And then, the plans arise, the purchase of a property, a professional aspiration, a wedding, the arrival of a child and so many others.

This is the point where there are people who act on it, or just imagine and see ships, and there is the difference between dreams and plans. But now we go to the fundamental point of plans, especially if you want to realize them… God needs to be in them, because as it is written in Proverbs 16:9, we can make plans, but it is the Lord who determines our steps, it is from him that the answer comes.

Put it in God’s hands!

Something that with my short time of life I have realized, is that when we are afraid to deliver a plan into the hands of God, is because we know that as a father he would not want that for us. Snd many times we are still stubborn in not asking for His direction, in not delivering to Him that plan trusting that if that is not good, it will not be fulfilled. However, in doing so we are being rebellious children.

When we receive a no from the Lord and continue, it may not be in 1 day or in 1 year, but we will get frustrated sooner or later, because we as failed men and women often do not see the danger in a path no matter how perfect it seems, but unlike us God is omnipotent and omniscient and He knows about tomorrow.

When we put God in charge of our plans only the best can happen, because as it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, it is God who knows the plans He has for us, plans to make us prosper and not to cause harm, plans to give hope and a future. So the most important thing is to have our Father’s direction.

Knowing that God is in this plan, then we must act, there is little point in standing still, remember do your part that God is already doing His. Do everything you can and the impossible is God who does it.

Conclusion

A new year is about to begin and we must dream, make plans and act on them, remembering that our good God is taking care of what for us would be impossible and that putting our wishes in His hands is the best we can do.

God bless you!

We graduated from the Google Play Apps Accelerator 2026

We believe that technology and faith can walk hand in hand. This conviction has driven us since the very first day of the JFA Bible, and over the past few months it has led us to experience one of the most remarkable chapters in our history: we graduated with our new Bible AI app as part of the first global cohort of the Google Play Apps Accelerator 2026. We want to share with you not only the outcome, but also the behind-the-scenes journey of everything that happened. The invitation that changed our year At the end of 2025, Google launched the first edition of the Google Play Apps Accelerator, a pioneering global program that selected only 38 high-potential apps from around the world. Among them, only two were Brazilian, and Bible AI was one of them. We received the news with a mix of joy and gratitude. 12 weeks of the program During twelve intensive weeks, we immersed ourselves in masterclasses led by leaders in the global tech industry, one-on-one mentoring sessions covering everything from technical scalability to leadership, and exclusive conversations with experts from Google and some of the world’s largest technology companies. Every session helped us think bigger, […]

Prayer: Running from religious fear

Prayer: Running from religious fear

In the previous text, we talked a little about religious OCD and how it takes our focus away from what Christ truly expects from us. Today, I want to invite you to pray with me about this subject, so that we may feel free in the Father’s presence, seeking Him with love, gratitude, and true peace. You do not need to pray exactly as I will write here. Open your heart genuinely to God. But it will be a pleasure to accompany you in this moment of prayer and seeking. Prayer Father, I know that many times my mind is filled with fear, guilt, and thoughts that steal the peace of my faith. I know that You do not want me to live imprisoned by spiritual anxiety, constantly trying to earn a love that was already given to me on the cross. Teach me to rest in You and to remember that Your love is not sustained by my performance, but by Your infinite grace. When intrusive thoughts come, when the fear of condemnation tries to dominate my heart, and when I feel spiritually overwhelmed, help me remember Your truth. Your Word says that I was not given a spirit […]
