
My calling is too big!
There are moments when God’s calling seems too great for us to carry. We look at our limitations, insecurities, and weaknesses and think, “Lord, did You choose the wrong person?” But what we need to understand is that the calling never depends on our natural ability, but on God’s presence within us. He never makes mistakes and doesn’t choose us because we are strong, but to make us strong in Him. The courage in saying “yes” “Ah, Sovereign Lord! I do not know how to speak; I am too young.” Jeremiah 1:6 Jeremiah felt afraid when God called him—just like Moses before Pharaoh and Gideon in the middle of the battle. They all saw themselves as small before the greatness of the mission, but God always responded in the same way: “I will be with you.” The calling is not a burden for those who trust in God’s presence; it is an invitation to experience His power working through our weakness.
