Prayer: For the sick

These days passing in front of a hospital I got shivers when I thought how many people were there fighting against an illness or worried about a relative in a bed and today I wanted to pray for the sick of the nations. The last few years have not been easy for many with the worldwide crisis caused by the coronavirus, but I have faith that everything will get better.

So today I invite you to pray for those who are sick, either in hospital beds or in their own homes. I leave here a passage especially for you today:

Prayer made with faith will heal the sick; the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

James 5:15

Remember that you don’t have to repeat the prayer exactly as I am going to leave it here, because each one of us has a specific way of communicating with the Lord. But if you want to follow me, it will be a pleasure, feel free to speak it in your own way.

Prayer

Beloved God, first of all I want to thank you for your love, because I know that you are God of healing and abundant life. So I thank you for caring for those in need, for having already allowed so many miracles from the beginning of mankind until today. I know that you are the same God today and always!

Father, today I want to pray for the sick people, those who are inside hospitals or even in their homes facing some weakness in their health. Please, God, enter every bed and heal these people, that Your glory may be manifested in their lives and by the blood of the lamb they may be healed.

Lord, guide every medical procedure that is being performed right now, bless every doctor who serves as your hands for your work. Also visit each friend and family member of mine, I ask that you bring comfort to those who are beside these people.

My God, yours is the power, the glory and the honor forever. It is in the name of Jesus that I pray, give thanks and ask that my words may reach the Lord like a sweet perfume!

Prayer of a mere servant of God

God bless you!

Prayer: Forgiven

Prayer: Forgiven

Previously, we talked about the power of forgiveness and how it heals and frees us. Today, I want to invite you to pray with me about this—so that our hearts may be filled with God’s grace and that we may learn to extend forgiveness and be merciful, just as God is with us daily. Prayer Father, I know that the deepest battles are often internal. Just as David spared Saul even when he had the right to seek revenge, help me learn from that silent victory that pleases Your heart and overflows grace into my life. I confess that harboring resentment weakens my soul and traps me in an invisible prison. Teach me Your way of continual forgiveness. May I release my heart and experience the healing and relief that come from You. I know that forgiveness is an act of obedience to Your word. I ask that Your Spirit transform me, shaping my character in humility and generosity. Even in lonely moments, hidden from the world, may my actions reflect Your forgiveness and love, showing that my greatest glory is not in the sum of my deeds but in my likeness to Jesus Christ. God, help me to leave […]

There is victory in forgiveness

There is victory in forgiveness

It’s easy to admire great public feats, like David’s victory over Goliath, which earned him applause and recognition. But there are silent battles that reveal a heart truly shaped by God. Forgiving someone who has hurt us, as David did with Saul, doesn’t generate fame—but it shows spiritual maturity and obedience to the Lord. While killing giants impresses people, forgiving enemies brings joy to the heart of God. Hidden Power “Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, ‘Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?’ Jesus answered, ‘I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.’” Matthew 18:21–22 Forgiving is not a sign of weakness but of spiritual strength. Jesus taught that forgiveness must be constant and necessary—not as a favor to others, but as healing for ourselves. When David had the chance to take Saul’s life and chose to spare him, he didn’t act out of fear but out of reverence for God. He knew vengeance wasn’t his responsibility and that it wasn’t God’s plan for him. Killing Goliath was a bold act seen by all, vital to David’s journey, and ordained by God. But forgiving Saul was […]

Prayer: I no longer walk alone

Prayer: I no longer walk alone

God, I know that many times I have trusted more in myself than in Your grace. Forgive me for every time I tried to carry burdens alone, forgetting that You are the One who sustains, strengthens, and guides me. May my heart not lean toward self-sufficiency, but find rest and direction only in You, the eternal Rock. Teach me to depend on You in everything. Even when circumstances seem to be under my control, I want to remember that it is not by might nor by my own power, but by Your Spirit that I live and can reach higher places. May I never forget that my very breath comes from You, and that without Your presence, I am only dust. Break down my pride and renew within me a humble spirit that bows before Your sovereignty, leading other people around me, in communion, to also worship You! Father, help me to trust in Your ways more than my own. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, I want to trust in the Lord with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding. I want to acknowledge Your hand in all my steps and see my paths made […]
