It is not far from Christ that we find transformation

It is not far from Christ that we find transformation

We are sinners and failures, so shame before God’s presence can so often come upon us, but let me let you in on a secret… did you know that our Father is willing to forgive you no matter what the mistake was?

Sometimes we may think we are not worthy of God’s love because we have made mistakes or our faults, but he sent his son to save us from condemnation and today we can have free access to Him. We are set free from our fears, bonds and our sins no longer dictate who we are, for in Christ we find our true identity. We understand the identity that God gave us when He created us.

It may be that at the moment you find yourself ashamed of yourself for an attitude and it is taking you away from God and all that he has for you. But it is not away from Christ that you will get rid of sins and the old man, after all, He is the way, the truth, and the life. If there is anyone who can transform your life it is your Savior and I can assure you that He wants you by His side and not far away.

“Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.

Joel 2:12,13

Come to Christ and allow to be transformed, many times we see people who want to be close to God, but don’t want to be transformed, don’t want to leave their old habits. Our Father is merciful, but that doesn’t mean we can continue to live life as we please, we need to be willing to change our attitude and he will help us too, because he knows our weaknesses.

Shame for our mistakes can not only lead us away from Christ, but also away from the church, however, this should not happen, for as I once heard: the church is a place for sick people. Perhaps as you read, that may sound a bit extreme, but my point is that church is the place where we are cared for and have people to walk together with.

So if you find yourself in this situation, take some time today to pray to the Lord, repenting of your sins, mistakes and failures. He wants to hear you and there is no need to feel ashamed, for in Christ’s presence you can surrender completely.

God bless you!

We graduated from the Google Play Apps Accelerator 2026

We believe that technology and faith can walk hand in hand. This conviction has driven us since the very first day of the JFA Bible, and over the past few months it has led us to experience one of the most remarkable chapters in our history: we graduated with our new Bible AI app as part of the first global cohort of the Google Play Apps Accelerator 2026. We want to share with you not only the outcome, but also the behind-the-scenes journey of everything that happened. The invitation that changed our year At the end of 2025, Google launched the first edition of the Google Play Apps Accelerator, a pioneering global program that selected only 38 high-potential apps from around the world. Among them, only two were Brazilian, and Bible AI was one of them. We received the news with a mix of joy and gratitude. 12 weeks of the program During twelve intensive weeks, we immersed ourselves in masterclasses led by leaders in the global tech industry, one-on-one mentoring sessions covering everything from technical scalability to leadership, and exclusive conversations with experts from Google and some of the world’s largest technology companies. Every session helped us think bigger, […]

Prayer: Running from religious fear

Prayer: Running from religious fear

In the previous text, we talked a little about religious OCD and how it takes our focus away from what Christ truly expects from us. Today, I want to invite you to pray with me about this subject, so that we may feel free in the Father’s presence, seeking Him with love, gratitude, and true peace. You do not need to pray exactly as I will write here. Open your heart genuinely to God. But it will be a pleasure to accompany you in this moment of prayer and seeking. Prayer Father, I know that many times my mind is filled with fear, guilt, and thoughts that steal the peace of my faith. I know that You do not want me to live imprisoned by spiritual anxiety, constantly trying to earn a love that was already given to me on the cross. Teach me to rest in You and to remember that Your love is not sustained by my performance, but by Your infinite grace. When intrusive thoughts come, when the fear of condemnation tries to dominate my heart, and when I feel spiritually overwhelmed, help me remember Your truth. Your Word says that I was not given a spirit […]
