Where is your foundation?

Do you know what “Angular stone” is?

The angular stone was the cornerstone used in ancient constructions.

It was characterized by being the first stone placed in the corner of the building. From this stone, it was defined where the other stones would be placed. She was the beginning and foundation of the building, a specific stone.

In the bible this stone is not something, it is someone!

Psalm 118:22: “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone“.

But who is this stone?

After this passage from Psalms we see in Ephesians 2:20: “Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.

Jesus is the cornerstone, it is from Him that it was possible to build a stronger construction, it’s for Him and through Him that we had the privilege of becoming the other subsequent stones. Today we can be the body of Christ!

The miracle of the cross

It was by the resurrection of Jesus that the veil that separates us from the presence of God was torn. That’s why today, we can be so close to Him that we are part of His body. Before He was God of a specific room, the Holy of Holies, something separate from the other rooms.

When on the third day Jesus returned, God became a close father, where we don’t need to scream. He is so close and available to us today that just thinking about something He hears us. You are a member of this body, you today can base your construction on the cornerstone.

To conclude…

Have you based your construction on the Cornerstone? Are your choices and decisions based on Christ? Take time to reflect on this word and, if necessary, start the construction again by positioning this specific stone first.

Prayer: On our knees to reach

God, I thank You for the freedom I have to know Your Word, to open the Scriptures, to hear about You, and to share the Gospel. I know that I often treat this privilege as something common, but today I want to recognize how precious it is. Lead me to places where Your Word encounters closed doors. May I not remain indifferent in the face of barriers that try to prevent Your Word from acting.

We graduated from the Google Play Apps Accelerator 2026

This conviction has driven us since the very first day of the JFA Bible, and over the past few months it has led us to experience one of the most remarkable chapters in our history: we graduated with our new Bible AI app as part of the first global cohort of the Google Play Apps Accelerator 2026. We want to share with you not only the outcome, but also the behind-the-scenes journey of everything that happened. The invitation that changed our year At the end of 2025, Google launched the first edition of the Google Play Apps Accelerator, a pioneering global program that selected only 38 high-potential apps from around the world. Among them, only two were Brazilian, and Bible AI was one of them. We received the news with a mix of joy and gratitude. 12 weeks of the program During twelve intensive weeks, we immersed ourselves in masterclasses led by leaders in the global tech industry, one-on-one mentoring sessions covering everything from technical scalability to leadership, and exclusive conversations with experts from Google and some of the world’s largest technology companies. Every session helped us think bigger, […]
