Is the custom of worship present in our lives? Do we understand the true importance of worshiping the Lord? Or do we leave it to praise ministers only?
In these times of social isolation, I have realized how great the impact of worship on our lives. Worship must always be present in our lives! I would like to talk a little about it today!
Come on?
Worship is individual
I always had the habit of not worrying about my secret worship, after all, the fact of praising in the church is enough, right? Quite the opposite. It is very common to think that we go to cults, conferences and events to fill up, but this is completely wrong.
The moments of worship must be of surrender to the Lord. We go to church to serve, to empty ourselves and to worship the Lord. Spiritual food, receiving, being filled and filled is in everyday life, in the secret, in the place where we are not seen, where only the Lord sees our surrender.
Do you think that early church leaders sought the Lord only on Sundays in their services?
“Look to the Lord and his strength;
Psalms 105: 4
seek his face always.”
Since the Old Testament, the Lord has shown us the importance of seeking His presence, His power and His face daily. And worship is not out of that quest. Each of us must have the habit of worshiping and praising the Lord individually. Our search in the form of worship is something that must be 100% present in our daily walk.
Worship goes beyond music
It is also worth remembering that worship is much more than music or a musical genre. Attitudes that please God are acts of worship. Pastor Rick Warren in his book “The purpose driven life” says that: “Every activity can e transformed into an act of worship when you do it for the praise, glory and pleasure of God.”
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31
When we worship, we focus our lives on God and stop focusing on ourselves. We worship by loving God, praising, seeking His face, giving thanks, obeying Him, using our gifts, loving others, having a righteous life, etc.
A sincere adoration!
“God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.””
John 4:24
We must be sincere and authentic when developing a relationship with God. The Father is pleased when we offer genuine and sincere worship. That is why Jesus instructs us to love the Lord with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our mind (Matthew 22:37). It is not about saying beautiful or right words to God externally. It has to be something that really comes from within us.
We need to stop simply singing or saying things about God just by speaking. The words and musical notes that we say or produce, must be with understanding, with knowledge of what we are singing or playing.
Do not sing just because you like to sing, stop throwing words in the wind But think about what you sing, pay attention to the lyrics. Start to listen to the praises and sing them, thinking about what they mean, what they are saying and hand it over to the Lord. May our praises be an expression of the truth and worship that already exists within our hearts.
The Lord seeks worshipers who worship Him with all their heart, who worship Him regardless of the situation, whether it is difficult or the best time of our lives. Make heartfelt worship a habit in your life. in everything you do.
Grace and Peace.
Powerful message let’s lift our hands and praise him 🙏🙏🙏
Amen!
Praise the Lord, for He is and has been good to us!
God bless you, dear Jackie!
I love this message. Sometimes we sing along to Gospel songs, just because the tune is nice and it’s about God. We need to understand the lyrics and fully mean them. ❤️
Amen 🙏 Praise God 🙏

Hallelujah. Praise the Lord this is powerful teaching
Powerful message i am totally touched
Amen!
I wouldn’t trust Rick Warren’s teaching. They don’t apply to biblical teaching on what Jesus had to say. Also that he twisted some of verse to make it sound doctrine for itching ears.
Great article! We need not only to feed our flesh with food, but also our soul with the knowledge of God every day and night!!
Amen 🙏❤️
So true The you for those words of encoragement God bless you my Friend

I started to match every negatve thought with that of a positive one after God had gotten my attention. This simple change of thought helped me to begin to truly focus on Christ and i begin to build a foundstion to a strong relationship with God. Amen
