Prayer: Where will I go?

It’s been a while since we’ve had a prayer moment around here, hasn’t it?

Prayer is an opportunity to show our feelings to God and for God.

We can use these moments to surrender our worship to Him, to learn in practice to trust, rest and say with our mouths how we want Him in every detail of our lives.

I don’t want to bring a specific topic to pray together today, but I want to use this space to pray for His work in our lives.

Feel free to pray in your own words as you present your needs and requests before the Lord. Or if you prefer you can accompany me. It will be a pleasure to have this moment together.

PRAYER

Lord, at this moment we cry out for Your complete act in our lives.

We are human and constantly have a need to grab control. The feeling that everything is going according to our wishes and that our lives are going as planned gives us the false feeling that everything is going well. But with our failing hands everything can fall apart at any moment.

Remind us at all times how we need to let go of the rope and how we need to pour everything out at Your feet.

Under Your command, even if it doesn’t make sense to us at first, we know that things are permanent and grounded.

Lord, put faith and trust in our hearts. May we close our eyes and just follow Your voice, knowing it leads us to a safe place filled with Your peace and Your love.

Let nothing make sense to us if it doesn’t have your presence. Teach us to have the Lord as our starting point and goal, as our complete way, truth and life.

Just as Peter says in the text of John 6: To whom shall we go? The words that give us eternal life, that give us direction and give us our real essence can only come from you, Lord. We want to stop looking for fulfillment in other places and things that soon go away. May the source of our lives be You and Your words.

Be by our side in all decisions. May every step we take be by Your side, following Your voice no matter how difficult what we need to leave behind. Your will is always good, perfect and pleasant.

Bless our lives and give us strength to carry on.
In Jesus name, Amen!

We graduated from the Google Play Apps Accelerator 2026

We believe that technology and faith can walk hand in hand. This conviction has driven us since the very first day of the JFA Bible, and over the past few months it has led us to experience one of the most remarkable chapters in our history: we graduated with our new Bible AI app as part of the first global cohort of the Google Play Apps Accelerator 2026. We want to share with you not only the outcome, but also the behind-the-scenes journey of everything that happened. The invitation that changed our year At the end of 2025, Google launched the first edition of the Google Play Apps Accelerator, a pioneering global program that selected only 38 high-potential apps from around the world. Among them, only two were Brazilian, and Bible AI was one of them. We received the news with a mix of joy and gratitude. 12 weeks of the program During twelve intensive weeks, we immersed ourselves in masterclasses led by leaders in the global tech industry, one-on-one mentoring sessions covering everything from technical scalability to leadership, and exclusive conversations with experts from Google and some of the world’s largest technology companies. Every session helped us think bigger, […]

Prayer: Running from religious fear

Prayer: Running from religious fear

In the previous text, we talked a little about religious OCD and how it takes our focus away from what Christ truly expects from us. Today, I want to invite you to pray with me about this subject, so that we may feel free in the Father’s presence, seeking Him with love, gratitude, and true peace. You do not need to pray exactly as I will write here. Open your heart genuinely to God. But it will be a pleasure to accompany you in this moment of prayer and seeking. Prayer Father, I know that many times my mind is filled with fear, guilt, and thoughts that steal the peace of my faith. I know that You do not want me to live imprisoned by spiritual anxiety, constantly trying to earn a love that was already given to me on the cross. Teach me to rest in You and to remember that Your love is not sustained by my performance, but by Your infinite grace. When intrusive thoughts come, when the fear of condemnation tries to dominate my heart, and when I feel spiritually overwhelmed, help me remember Your truth. Your Word says that I was not given a spirit […]

Google chose us… Here’s why

If you use the Bible JFA app, this news is yours too. For the past 15 years, we’ve built something together that we never imagined would go this far: over 130 million downloads, with 3 million people opening the app every month to read, study, and connect with the Word of God. These numbers aren’t just ours—they belong to every person who opened the app in a difficult moment, who read a verse before going to sleep, and who shared a passage with someone who needed it. To everyone who has trusted our work. It’s this foundation, built with great care and faith, that gives us the courage to now create new tools. Introducing Bible AI Bible AI (B.AI) is our newest app. A personalized Bible study experience powered by artificial intelligence, designed to learn how you study and walk alongside your spiritual journey—always staying faithful to the biblical text while supporting you in a personal and individual way. It is not a replacement for Bible JFA. It’s the next step for those who want to go deeper—to ask questions, follow their devotional time, develop more in-depth studies and sermons, and much more. What It Means That Google Chose Us […]
