If there’s anything I feel God saying to my heart, it’s always about respecting His time in my life. I’ve always been a restless and restless person, so I don’t like it when things take a long time to happen.
Anyway, when I converted, I found that things didn’t work my way. Being a servant of God, I have no right to my wills. Especially remembering that He is eternal and that He certainly understands much more than I do about life and the times needed for things to be fulfilled.
Don’t be anxious
The biggest problem is in fear. Almost all our problems or limitations as human beings are based on fear, in fact. Not knowing what will happen in the future creates stress and worry and, consequently, anxiety. Everyone wants to have a life full of peace and joy and we hope that will happen immediately. Therefore, we try to have control over every situation of our daily lives. We believe we know the best ways and the best times to enjoy this fullness. When we are fully in God, we are not afraid. In His love there is no fear of what will happen because we trust in His faithfulness to us.
I believe the first thing to do is to recognize our limitations as human beings in understanding something about life. The most correct way, in my view, is to trust and ask things to the creator. God is sovereign over all things and the text of Ecclesiastes makes this very clear. The problem is that by the natural weakness of our flesh we always think we are able to do something by our strength. We do not recognize the beauty of God’s works and time, and His power to do everything as He pleases. Since we are all under one purpose, which is to glorify Him and enjoy His peace and joy for eternity.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the eternity in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end”.
Give your ways to God
Proverbs 16:1 “The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord. (2) All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits. (3) Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established”.
The second thing to do is to give all your trust and your ways to the Lord. He recognizes that in our hearts we make plans and will. But surely not all the plans we make are, in fact, as good as we think. Knowing that God’s will is good, perfect, and pleasant. Handing over our plans to God and letting Him guide our steps allows our hearts to align with His purpose, and of course the planner will be the Holy Spirit within us. Preventing us from making plans that, however pure they may seem in our eyes, will end our fall and the satiety of purely carnal wills.
There is a well-known phrase by writer C. S. Lewis that illustrates well what I have in mind at this moment: “If God had granted all the foolish prayers I have said in my life, where would I be now?”
Live one day at a time
Ecclesiastes 3:12 “I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. (13) And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God. (14) I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
Finally, as the text itself says. There is nothing better for humans than to enjoy the life God gives us, our family, friends and also the fruits of our work.
We leave the fear of the future behind because we trust in a God who is eternal. That is the beginning and the end. And that for Him there is no future, after all, He knows all things.
We trust in His power and love and give Him our plans and wills to Him. The result is a life of peace, where we charge less and know that we are kept and guided in paths of justice. We have learned to respect time for all things. In the moment of pain, we understand that we are being edified, in the moment of joy, that we are being contemplated for your kindness.
Stick around!

Thankfully for this message especially the title “Respect God’s Time”, because I am like, I really need that now God not remembering that God’s timing is Perfect.
I’m not a fan of blogs but I must say, this blog has truly been sanctioned by God. Always timely, never contrary to truth and it feeds the spirit! God bless and keep you.
Thank you for this, I am doing a project and everytime along the way there is roadblock, thanks, now I truly understand that I need to wait on God’s time to continue, he is the one who sees my need for this and I know that he is the one who allows me to start so I will wait on his next move. Thanks again for this message.

This is the most inspiring write I ‘ve read in years. It was as if it was written personally to me. Thanks Marcelo.
Thank you for sharing. God bless
I love ho hear the word of God
Thank you for writing this blog. I have a friend named Andy who has a great deal of sorrow and grief in his life right now and has been that way for quite a while. He doesn’t understand why things are not getting any better. Even though he tries to have faith in God and do right by God, something always seems to go wrong. After reading this blog, I believe I know what to tell him, for I haven’t been able to understand why either or know what to tell him. Recently, I was thinking and told him that I thought that he was missing something that God wanted him to understand and realize. He is a good man, a little rough around the edges, but I believe he has a good heart. He has been used, beat down, and yet still tries to help people, while most others turn their backs on him. I do my best to be there for him and he doesn’t understand how I have so much patience with all of my trials lately. I ask for prayers that he does find more happiness and learns to “let go and let God.” I plan on sharing this article with him in hopes he can see a new perspective in things revolving around his life. Thank you again and God bless!
You must try to keep praying for him. We don’t know the real time of our friends for sure. I have a lot of colleagues that I want to be touched but I’m not the one who choose the right time. Stay close to him and may God bless you both!
Thankyou for this inspiring word my brother in Christ. May God Bless You!
I have struggled with anxiety and panic attacks for a long time and i know that God has been with me throughtout those dark days and has helped me to cope with it all. Yes, i still have bad days but call out to Jesus and know he hears. Thank you for your message today.
Needed to hear this.
This message came at the time I needed it most,God bless u richly
Psalm 34:4 means that as we set ourselves to seek God in prayer, not once but over and over again, He will release ri our hearts His grace, His assurance and His supernatural comfort so that we are not destroyed and overtaken by our fears. To seek means to look for something very determinedly, not just a casual glance and then say “well it doesn’t appear to be here.” It means a person actively looking for God on their knees. As you do that God has promised He will hear all your prayers, and He will move in your life to work out deliverance and solutions that make your fears melt away. Jt means pray with all your heart, and God will rescue you out of the circumstances that are making your fearful. God bless.
Thank you Marcelo .. May the good Lord bless you. Just an encouragement I needed to hear. Thank you Holy spirit
Be grateful only to Jesus! May His name be glorified!
Amen God is the creator of our plans and patience is the key
Someone said a long time ago that, “God’s own clock may seems so slow, but it’s never late.” The problem we have with time is because we confine God to time, space and matter, we forget he is Eternal God and Ancient of days.
Thank you for this message….I often feel anxious about the future and worry about what it holds for me and my loved ones. Blessings to you and all who read this blog…..🙏
Thank you for this reminder…his time is not our time. When I wait on him, things turn out for the best. When I protect my time with him, I am at my best. Thank You Lord!
Ain’t God good?
Last night, I felt so anxious about everything in my life. I woke up this morning and found this message as a notification. This message was just what I needed.
Praise be to God.
So thankful for you, brother Marcelo. May God bless you abundantly. 🙏🏾
Thank you for this! Ive been slowly facing my fears, and knew I had to step up as a woman of faith in my workplace, home, and in the relationships with my friends and boyfriend. I thank God that He gave me a good a faithful partner to walk this life with me, someone filled with the Holy Spirit and true awe for the Lord. He has encouraged me greatly, and through his faithfullness I have grown a relationship with God that has truly changed me. I was someone filled with depression before I met God, and I was someone who always went to church fofor social reasons rather than for God. Boy what a difference it makes when you truly go to worship God and worship alongside other believers with thankfullness😂❤
This message was a topic he and I were on a lot recently. God is the great I AM, and we can trust him in anything and everything. Every test we face is to build perseverance and faith in God. There are lots of people who need the Gospel of Truth and need to recognise God, He is love and the true love, one that is sacrificial and filled with compassion. If we look into the Word of God, the ways of the world will not hinder us as it did before. Proverbs 3:3-4 it says “Let love and faithfulness never leave you, bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.” Ive seen this actively at my workplace, from what Ive seen Im one of the only women there that have faith in God, and the others have come up to me asking why do customers treat me well or why do they open up to me? Even some of the men have questioned this. It is God in us that draws people. I believe a lot of people want change and want to know God but they have fear about it. Jesus came to set captives free, free from the ways of sin and death and to come into Gods presence😌 when we arent afraid, it helps the others who are to not be as well.
Remember, its not our job to save but to be faithful to God and to spread His word. Jesus is the one who saves, we can lead others to Him 😊😊🤗🤗 and dont let age get in the way of spreading His word. Just because you are young or old doesnt devalue or nullify how God can use you. Im only 24, but when I let the God lead me, I see miracles in my workplace and homelife. In the lives of my friends. Give God the room to work, when you trust Him you can never go wrong!
Be encouraged🤗🤗🤗🤗
I so needed this. Like just some minutes a go I was like why can’t this happen now and I felt doubtful but then this just popped up on my phone. I just want to thank you for this now I’m just going trust God’s timing cause he’s never failed yet. Thanks again for allowing God to use you to inspire others

But after reading this, it made me remember who is still in charge and I decided to belive that God is orchestrating and perfecting all that concerns me.
Thank you so much sir marcelo its very uplifting! God bless!
I get restless when don’t happen in my time or when I want them to happen. This was a good message for me. It reminded me that things happen in God’s time, learn to be patient.
Thank you for this teaching on timing through the scriptures. I have been an impatient person and this has caused me worries and fear. I have made requests for my family to God and have always tried to fix the timing of events. I have ended up frustrated and think that God has not heard me. This message is directed to me today. I feel healed already. I have peace in my heart. I now relinquish my quest for timing of things in my life and let God work on my behalf. God has the best for me. This is a message, I will relay to many who undergoing similar siruations. I had also heaped blames either to others or myself for not acting smart. Now i know, i am delivered, i understand. Thanks to God
Am blessed by this message this morning. Thanks.
Thank you Marcelo!!!!! God is speaking to us thru this Blog. My husband lost his job 2 months ago. We have mortgage to pay and bills and so forth. He’s been submitting his applications elsewhere, but he hasn’t received any positive response. Most of the times he’s quite and I know he is really worried about our situation.
I thank God for always making Himself known, that He is present in our situation.
We lift up our burdens to Him, and put our trust in the process.
Psalm 33:20-21
We were in a similar situation some years ago, one day I said to my wife you can’t buy a loaf of bread without asking me first, she started to cry and said “what are we going to do?” At that moment I felt my spirit moving in me and replied, we are going to start trusting a God, that’s what we’re going to do.
Tem minutes later the phone rang, it was a friend of mine saying he thought his boss was going to give me an invitation for an interview, I can report that I got the job.
Ten minutes from crying, my wife was now laughing! Our situation hadn’t changed (yet), but hope had returned, I did get the job and although the salary was much lower than what I had been earning we insisted on Tithing and God honoured our faithfulness, and led us from strength to strength over the years.
So please stop trying to make things happen in your own strength, and start relying on our amazing God, as I’m sure you know He is no respecter of persons, so He will help you as well, please just trust Him.
God Bless
Thank you Steve! I trust His perfect timing.
God bless you and your family.
Amen
Amen..I commit everything into His mighty hands.
Hey Marcelo!
This is a great article. When did you start your spiritual journey? I’m curious. Thanks for this!
Dana
I was born inside a Christian family and turned my back to God at 17’s. As the years went by I became atheist. I just came back and had a real conversion on the last year, on july 1st. After this, I started to study a lot and that’s why I learned all of the things that I post here weekly. On resume, I have minus than two years converted. I am here just because of His infinite mercy.
God bless you. Keep you strong and shine His grace on you.
Whenever I got problems, I always ask the Lord He always helped me to overcome and remove my anxiety. Im so grateful that He always saves me from the work pressure. It is always a miracle that I can do things that I thought I cannot and I believe that He is the reason why. He is my strength,my savior, my God. Praise the LORD!
