Prayer: Fear, never again!
Fear is a natural feeling, which can even be positive in some situations, serving as an alert, but often causes us harm, despair, paralysis and leads to wrong decisions. All of this is not good, but I have some good news to give you today … and it is, with God’s help, you can win! In Psalm 34: 4 it is written: “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears”.
We cannot let ourselves be dominated by fear, so today I invite you to pray, throw away all the fear that paralyzed you, remember that God is greater than everything that afflicts you so much and He will take care of you. Here are some verses to help you:
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
Hebrews 13:6
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Psalms 23:4
Remembering that you do not need to repeat the prayer exactly as I am going to leave it here, as each of us has a specific way of communicating with the Lord. But if you want to accompany me, it will be a pleasure, feel free to speak your way.
Prayer
Dear God, I ask you to take all the fear out of me, I often feel paralyzed by it and I cannot make good decisions. This evil bothered me, but I don’t want to be held hostage by fear, I know that I have the strength to overcome it, even though it seems difficult in my human and fragile perception.
In 2 Timothy 1: 7 it is written: “Because God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of strength, love and moderation”, and I take this word, my Father, I ask for your strength and to act in my life and specifically in this area . I also ask that the Holy Spirit bring healing and liberation to my heart.
My Lord, I want to be free from this evil, so I pray that you will investigate my thoughts as well and, wherever the roots of my fears are, set me free. Heal me from the fears that I carry since my birth, whether from something I heard, felt or saw, with the authority that was given to me in Christ, I rebuke all the fears that I carry from the past until today. Right now, I pray that the Lord will destroy everything the enemy tries to throw into my mind and heart.
Please, my Father, sell my ears and eyes, protecting me from what does not come from you. Free me also from night terror, fear of animals and disease. That instead of fear, I have the courage to fight and win the daily battles. It is in the name of Jesus that I pray and ask that my words reach the Lord like a sweet perfume!
