3 tips for reading the Bible in 2022

The year has started and with that people make plans and goals. We know that the goal of many of our users is to have a routine of prayer and reading the word. That’s why today we want to present to you some features of our APP that can help you in this objective.

We hope that in 2022 you can be even more filled with the Scriptures and the wisdom that comes from above. May it be a year of great intimacy with God and many profound experiences in His presence.

#1 Bible Audios

Reading the Bible can be much more dynamic, because in our application you can listen to the Bible in audio. We recommend you to use the original audios of the New International Version (NIV) and Christian Standard Bible (CSB) translations.

Depending on the city where you live, you may spend a few hours of your day in transit or public transport. Put the Bible audio on your car radio or always have a headset with you. And you can also listen to the Bible while you do your daily activities and tasks. I love to listen to the Scriptures when I am washing the dishes or cooking.

#2 Reading Progress

In the APP there is a feature called “Reading Progress”. By using it you can manage how much you’ve read in each book and part of the Bible. Just mark each chapter as read. The button is available at the end of each chapter.

#3 Choose a Reading Plan

As many know, there are several reading plans available within the application. Some are focused on reading the entire Bible in 1 year:

If you have already started any of these plans, but ended up being late reading, it is possible to get on track. Or you can

We graduated from the Google Play Apps Accelerator 2026

We believe that technology and faith can walk hand in hand. This conviction has driven us since the very first day of the JFA Bible, and over the past few months it has led us to experience one of the most remarkable chapters in our history: we graduated with our new Bible AI app as part of the first global cohort of the Google Play Apps Accelerator 2026. We want to share with you not only the outcome, but also the behind-the-scenes journey of everything that happened. The invitation that changed our year At the end of 2025, Google launched the first edition of the Google Play Apps Accelerator, a pioneering global program that selected only 38 high-potential apps from around the world. Among them, only two were Brazilian, and Bible AI was one of them. We received the news with a mix of joy and gratitude. 12 weeks of the program During twelve intensive weeks, we immersed ourselves in masterclasses led by leaders in the global tech industry, one-on-one mentoring sessions covering everything from technical scalability to leadership, and exclusive conversations with experts from Google and some of the world’s largest technology companies. Every session helped us think bigger, […]

Prayer: Running from religious fear

Prayer: Running from religious fear

In the previous text, we talked a little about religious OCD and how it takes our focus away from what Christ truly expects from us. Today, I want to invite you to pray with me about this subject, so that we may feel free in the Father’s presence, seeking Him with love, gratitude, and true peace. You do not need to pray exactly as I will write here. Open your heart genuinely to God. But it will be a pleasure to accompany you in this moment of prayer and seeking. Prayer Father, I know that many times my mind is filled with fear, guilt, and thoughts that steal the peace of my faith. I know that You do not want me to live imprisoned by spiritual anxiety, constantly trying to earn a love that was already given to me on the cross. Teach me to rest in You and to remember that Your love is not sustained by my performance, but by Your infinite grace. When intrusive thoughts come, when the fear of condemnation tries to dominate my heart, and when I feel spiritually overwhelmed, help me remember Your truth. Your Word says that I was not given a spirit […]

Google chose us… Here’s why

If you use the Bible JFA app, this news is yours too. For the past 15 years, we’ve built something together that we never imagined would go this far: over 130 million downloads, with 3 million people opening the app every month to read, study, and connect with the Word of God. These numbers aren’t just ours—they belong to every person who opened the app in a difficult moment, who read a verse before going to sleep, and who shared a passage with someone who needed it. To everyone who has trusted our work. It’s this foundation, built with great care and faith, that gives us the courage to now create new tools. Introducing Bible AI Bible AI (B.AI) is our newest app. A personalized Bible study experience powered by artificial intelligence, designed to learn how you study and walk alongside your spiritual journey—always staying faithful to the biblical text while supporting you in a personal and individual way. It is not a replacement for Bible JFA. It’s the next step for those who want to go deeper—to ask questions, follow their devotional time, develop more in-depth studies and sermons, and much more. What It Means That Google Chose Us […]
