Do you recognize your identity? Or rather, do you know your identity in Christ? These are certainly difficult but important questions.
Your identity determines who you are, which involves many aspects of your life, such as how you act and your personal tastes. So, being sure of it is essential to not lose focus during a walk.
You are a child of God
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.John 1:12
Certainly, much of who we are on earth is determined by nationality, upbringing and family, but by accepting Jesus as our only savior, we became part of a heavenly family, we became God’s beloved children. Bearing in mind that the creator of all things is your father, is the first step in knowing your identity.
Our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, so as it is written in 1 Corinthians 6: 19 – 20, we do not belong to ourselves, as we were bought at a high price and with that we must honor God, through it, which begins in our identity.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!2 Corinthians 5:17
It is not possible to understand his identity in Christ without knowing him. So it is essential that you know the story of your savior and meditate on the Bible, because the scriptures are alive and God speaks to us through them.
Talking to a friend, I commented on how we tend to adhere to the behavior of someone we admire or who is very close, so if we walk with Jesus we will soon be more like him.
Moment to meet again
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.Galatians 2:20
The world has been experiencing a situation of great impact in recent months, the Covid-19 pandemic, where we have suffered emotional and economic losses. In addition, we had to slow down the pace of life due quarantine.
In general, people are spending more time with themselves and reflecting on their own image. It has not been an easy time, but it is in difficulty where we learn and our character is forged.
It is time to rethink areas of our lives, to get even closer to God and to have the confidence that he knows the reason for all things, because when we return to our routine we will be even stronger and with the identity established in the father. Great things are coming!
In conclusion …
You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.Psalm 139: 1-5
Take time to talk to God, ask him to search your heart and shape your identity. God has great plans for your life and you need to be prepared. Preparation is not always easy, but to live the father’s purposes, it is worth it.
God bless you!
Amen and amen!! I know who I’m.I’m the child of god that created heavens and earth.in him I’m protected, covered highly favoured and wonderful made.no weapons formed against me shall prosper.im blessed going in and out.
Thank you and Amen.
May i find my identity only in Jesus the author and finisher of my salvation.
Knowing ones Identity in Father is extremely important. The writer wrote it so well (I will paraphrase). We tend to mimic behaviors of people we love or admire and part of who they are becomes part of our identity. As we study who Father/Jesus is we will begin to take on the attributes of Father and our identity in Father will be affirmed.
Thank you and be Blessed.
Amen… A timely word.. Kno ur identity in Christ.. In him we live n breath n have our being 🙏💕
Thank you for the inspiring messages
Joseph from New Zealand,
Awesome insight regarding our identity, throughly enjoyed your blog about it.
Stand fast in the liberty where Christ has made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
The key to embracing our identity and growing in Christ is as you aptly put it is to yoke ourselves to him and not be entangled AGAIN with the yoke that kept us in bondage, which is designed (fashioned) to keep us in the dark.
God bless you and may the Father continue to work mighty in you according to his glorious purposes.

This morning I was sharing with my friends about how I have lost myself I think it’s the anxiety of all that’s happening around us at this time, today I’ve come across 2 Pastors(actually my Pastor and the other Pastor that I follow)they literally talked about my situation, and I downloaded this bible today only to read this,as if it’s all for me,when God speak we must pay attention. These is indeed a time where we learn who we are, finding our identity and mostly seeking God,there is no better time than now,.
I’m so grateful, and I feel so blessed right now.
He is speaking to You. Pray to Him in thanks, let Him know that you are open to his answer to your situation. Let Him know you are turning it over to Him. Thank Him, then go about your business. He will answer when you are not expecting it.
Creator of Heaven and Earth, Father
I thank You for being my Healer. I ask that You heal my heart. I confess, God, that I have not always loved You or Your people the way I should. I confess that I have been selfish. I confess that sometimes I have played the victim when You have called me victorious. So I thank You for not keeping a record of my wrongs and for forgiving me and cleaning me up when I make mistakes.
I pray, God, that You wash me clean of every hurt and pain that has caused me to rest in depression. I ask, O God, that You strengthen me. I ask, O God, that You would stir up the gifts inside me that I may be successful in the spaces You have appointed me to be successful in. I ask You to bring meaning to every mess in my life and reveal Your glory in me.
God, place a hedge of protection around all your children. Thank You, God, for being my way maker and my help in the time of trouble. I look to You for help in the midst of my trouble. I thank You for giving me another chance to seek Your face and for turning this situation around. I believe it is so by faith, and by faith so it is. Amen.
God bless you all, Family of Thee Most High God of Host. Creator of Heaven and Earth. May the Peace of Christ dwell within us all. Love you all, Guillermo G.
Yes, Amen. Thank you my sweet husband. Love you so much. 😍
