Prayer: What really matters
Previously, I spoke to you about seizing opportunities and the present. Today, I want to pray about this, so that we don’t waste time and enjoy every detail of life: the places, the people, possibilities, moments, opportunities…
Life is a reflection of the One who created it, and we need to enjoy every part of it.
You don’t need to pray exactly as I’m going to say here. I know that everyone has their way of talking to the Father, and it is important that we individually seek intimacy with Him. Therefore, feel comfortable talking to the Lord in your own way. But if you want, I will be happy to accompany you in this prayer.
Prayer
Father, I express my gratitude for the precious gift of life and for every blessing You bestow upon me, even when undeserved.
I acknowledge that You present me with people, places, and opportunities that I can only experience through Your grace and wisdom. Teach me to relish every detail of these gifts.
Guide my heart to love others unconditionally and sacrificially, expressing my feelings to make them feel loved by You. May my heart learn to value places, moments, and opportunities, maintaining the joy of seizing them in each detail. May I focus on what truly matters, without squandering time.
Fill me with Your wisdom to perceive the beauty in each moment, for in Your creation, I find Your reflection. Open my eyes to the wonders before me, even in the simplest circumstances; make my eyes and ears sensitive to Your presence.
Help me understand the importance of each person crossing my path, learning from them, and sharing the knowledge I’ve gained, reflecting Your love and care onto each one. Grant me patience to listen, a heart to understand, and hands ready to serve.
Lord, teach me to appreciate each place as a unique piece of Your grand creation. May I see Your majesty in every part, being a light wherever I go. May I remember and fully experience every moment.
Regarding opportunities, grant me discernment to recognize them and courage to seize them. May I not waste possibilities for growth, crucial meetings for each stage, and chances to make a difference; show me where and how to walk. As I embrace these opportunities, align me with Your eternal purposes.
May every step I take be guided by Your hand, Father. Instill confidence in each step, knowing that each has a purpose beyond my understanding.
Help me live fully, love deeply, and serve generously. May each breath express gratitude for the gift of life that You daily bestow upon me.
