Prayer: Stay focused on what is eternal!

Keep your focus on what is eternal, allow yourself to trust in the Lord, for He assures us in His Word that if we live with integrity and trust in Him, we will find security and prosperity. Your new year will be prosperous and secure in God’s presence. Surrender your path to the Lord, submit your life, your choices, your attitudes to Him, and He promises you care, prosperity, and help. Seek the Father’s presence with intensity and you will find the relief and refreshment you need in Him. Many times we suffer because we live far away from the presence and the will of the Lord, so keep your focus on eternity!

Here is a passage especially for you today:

In his heart man plans his way, but the Lord determines his steps.

Proverbs 16:9

Remember that you don’t have to repeat the prayer exactly as I’m going to leave it here, because each one of us has a specific way of communicating with the Lord. But if you want to follow me, it will be a pleasure, feel free to speak it in your own way.

Prayer

Beloved God, thank You because in order to live I can count on Your care and Your grace. I thank You because up to this point You have taken care of me. Lord, I want to invite You to rule my life in the coming year. Teach me to prioritize You, to prioritize having time with You, to listen to Your voice, and to live Your plans for my life.

Teach me to be dependent on You and to trust You with everything I do and plan. Come to give me strength and breath to persist in what is worth persisting in for the coming year. I cry out for a Wisdom that comes from on high. Remove from me my human and limited thoughts. It is part of a good year to know how to wait and trust in the Lord, to put all hope in You. Teach me to quiet my heart in You and to deliver before Your altar everything that burdens and worries me about the future. My future is in You.

Lord, help me to desire to live Your will and a life led by Your Holy Spirit. Thank You because You promise me help, prosperity and security. Help me to trust You and believe in Your complete care. Only in You can I be truly kept and protected. May I not place my hope in anything or anyone but You.

Keep my heart and may I be able to take hold of the blessings that have already been released through the work of Christ in the new year to come. My God, yours is the power, the glory and the honor forever. It is in the name of Jesus that I pray, give thanks and ask that my words may reach the Lord like a sweet perfume!

Prayer: Purify and restore

Father, today I stand before You, acknowledging my need for the presence of Your Holy Spirit. There are areas of my life that often resemble dry, weary, and barren land. There are times when my faith weakens, my heart becomes heavy, and my soul thirsts for the water that only You can offer. Therefore, I ask You: pour out Your showers of blessing upon me. May Your Spirit renew what is worn out, restore what is broken, and bring life where there is dryness. Just as You promised to pour water upon the thirsty land, I acknowledge my dependence on You. I do not want to seek satisfaction in the fleeting things of this world, but in the inexhaustible source of Your presence. Fill my heart with Your peace, strengthen my faith, and help me remain close to You at all times. May Your Spirit flow through my life like rivers of living water, bringing hope, direction, and renewal to every area that needs Your touch. Holy Spirit, fall upon me like a flood. Invade the places in my heart that I have not yet fully surrendered to the Lord. Wash away my worries, my fears, my insecurities, and everything […]
