Prayer: Renewed by the word

The Gospel transforms us. When we truly live out the Word, we are renewed and become unrecognizable.

Today, I want to set aside this moment to pray for this genuine transformation, so that Christ has freedom in all areas of our lives.

Remembering that you don’t need to pray exactly as I’m going to say here. I know that everyone has their own way of communicating with the Father, and it is important that we seek this intimacy. Feel free to talk to the Lord in your way. But if you wish, I am here to accompany you in this prayer.

Prayer

“Father, I desire to be truly transformed by Your Word. I acknowledge, Lord, that Your Word is living and effective, capable of penetrating our hearts and shaping us according to Your will, and I am willing to fully surrender myself to make this a reality.

Above all, I long to love and seek Your Word and Your presence more deeply, immersing myself in the Scriptures daily to seek Your wisdom and guidance in every aspect of my life. Your Word serves as a lamp for my feet and a light for my path, leading me in the ways of righteousness and truth, and transforming me into someone unrecognizable.

Lord, strip away all shame and timidity from my heart so that I can speak about the Gospel without fear, with authority and understanding. Fill me with courage and boldness to share Your truth with others, being a living testimony to the transformative power of the Gospel in my life and inspiring others to seek this truth.

Guide me to live in accordance with the truths I discover in Your Word, being a living reflection of Your love and grace. You have shown me immense mercy, pouring out Your blessings upon me even when I did not deserve it. May there be freedom in every aspect of my life, God, so that You may move and act as You desire.

Lord, may Your Word ignite a fire within my heart, consuming all that is impure and transforming me entirely, so that I may increasingly resemble Christ in both my understanding and character.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen!”

The right place

Throughout life, we are constantly called to make choices. Some seem obvious, attractive, and full of opportunities. Others require faith, patience, and trust in God. The problem is that not everything that looks good to our eyes is truly what is best for our future. The Bible shows us this through the story of Abraham and Lot, a narrative that remains extremely relevant for everyone who desires to live according to God’s will. Appearances can be deceiving “Lot looked around and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan toward Zoar was well watered, like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt. (This was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.)” Genesis 13:10 There came a time when Abraham’s and Lot’s flocks had grown so much that the land could no longer support them together. To avoid conflict, Abraham proposed that they separate and gave Lot the opportunity to choose first where he would go. Lot saw a place that, from a human perspective, seemed like the perfect choice. The plain was fertile, abundant, and promising. Everything pointed to prosperity. But Lot evaluated only what he could see. He observed the appearance of the land but ignored […]

Prayer: Running from religious fear

Prayer: Running from religious fear

In the previous text, we talked a little about religious OCD and how it takes our focus away from what Christ truly expects from us. Today, I want to invite you to pray with me about this subject, so that we may feel free in the Father’s presence, seeking Him with love, gratitude, and true peace. You do not need to pray exactly as I will write here. Open your heart genuinely to God. But it will be a pleasure to accompany you in this moment of prayer and seeking. Prayer Father, I know that many times my mind is filled with fear, guilt, and thoughts that steal the peace of my faith. I know that You do not want me to live imprisoned by spiritual anxiety, constantly trying to earn a love that was already given to me on the cross. Teach me to rest in You and to remember that Your love is not sustained by my performance, but by Your infinite grace. When intrusive thoughts come, when the fear of condemnation tries to dominate my heart, and when I feel spiritually overwhelmed, help me remember Your truth. Your Word says that I was not given a spirit […]
