Prayer: Crying out for God’s help!
What is the help or care from God that you need? We live in a world of 7.874 billion people and each one is going through a different struggle, has a different need, which God knows well and is there to care for and teach. Even with so many people in the world, our Lord still knows the innermost of each one, for He is God, powerful, omnipotent and omniscient.
Have you ever thought about how wonderful this is? Well, even with all His majesty, He still has patience for you and me, He cares for each of His children. That is why he hears your and mine cries, in the desert times he is by our side and thinking about this today I want to pray with you. Let’s pray together for God’s help, in whatever area you need it.
I leave here a passage especially for you today:
The Lord watches over the life of the upright, and their inheritance will remain forever. In times of trouble they will not be disappointed; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.
Psalms 37:18-19
Remember that you don’t have to repeat the prayer exactly as I’m going to leave it here, because each one of us has a specific way of communicating with the Lord. But if you want to follow me, it will be a pleasure, feel free to speak it in your own way.
Prayer
Beloved God, I thank you because I know that you hear my cry, in the day of my distress you are at my side, you do not forsake me and you lift me up before my enemies. I thank you for caring also to have mercy on us human beings, mere sinners. Forgive me if at any time I have not expressed my gratitude to You for all that You have already done.
Father, I have been going through difficulties in some areas of my life (tell here where you need help from the Most High). I have faced struggles that I don’t know how to overcome. Deliver me also from the traps of the enemy. I ask the Lord for strength to remain firm and strong, in the mood to overcome the evil day.
I ask for strength from above, wisdom and discernment, that I may be clothed in your armor. Lord, I ask for help in the financial area, please don’t let me lack food in my home, I ask you to pour your grace over me and my home, and may your army of angels be with me.
My God, Yours is the power, the glory, and the honor forever. It is in the name of Jesus that I pray, give thanks and ask that my words may reach the Lord like a sweet perfume!
