Prayer: Calm down and everything will be solved!

Stress is not good for anyone, but we know that with the rush of everyday life it comes and only makes everything worse. However, the word of God, in Romans 12:12, talks about being patient in tribulations and there it is written: “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, persevere in prayer.

Certainly we are not 100% every day, but stress only creates more stress, so today I want to talk to you who find yourself in one of those days where one thing happens after another and it seems like nothing will ever get solved. I also want to remind you that feelings and situations are transient, after all, there is no evil that lasts forever. I leave here a passage especially for you today:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplications, and with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7

Remember that you don’t have to repeat the prayer exactly as I am going to leave it here, because each one of us has a specific way of communicating with the Lord. But if you want to accompany me, it will be a pleasure, feel free to speak it in your own way.

Prayer

Beloved God, first of all I want to thank you for this day, because I woke up and even though the days are not easy, and I don’t know the solution to everything that is happening, I know that you know and I find peace in that. I know that you are a good God and that with your help I will overcome the bad days.

Father, please help me to be calm in situations that frustrate or stress me, give me wisdom and discernment to conduct every conversation I need. May the patience of those who have been renewed in You, be a reality in my life.

Forgive me for any harm I may have caused by being stressed, and that with calm I may resolve all that I need to resolve these twenty-four hour period. Take away from me all anxiety and anguish, may my consolation be in You, for I know that as Your child, I am more than a winner.

My God, Yours is the power, the glory, and the honor forever. It is in the name of Jesus that I pray, give thanks and ask that my words may reach the Lord like a sweet perfume!

Prayer of a mere servant of God

Rain and fire upon us

Rain and fire upon us

Throughout the Scriptures, God uses powerful images to reveal the work of the Holy Spirit. Among them, two appear repeatedly: rain and fire. They may seem like completely opposite images when we read them, but rain speaks of life, renewal, and abundance, while fire speaks of purification, holiness, and power. When we cry out, “Holy Spirit, fall like a flood” or “Holy Spirit, send Your fire,” we are echoing deeply biblical symbols that point to God’s work among His people. The Holy Spirit is not merely a force or a passing emotion. He is the living presence of God dwelling within us, transforming dry hearts into fertile ground and igniting cold lives with the fire of His presence. Rain upon dry ground “I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.” Ezekiel 34:26 Since the Old Testament, God has promised to pour out blessings upon His people like rain that falls at the proper time. The image of water is frequently used to describe spiritual renewal, restoration, and abundant life that come from the Lord. In a world marked by spiritual exhaustion, many hearts […]

Prayer: Guarding my steps

Father, I know that many times I make decisions based only on what my eyes can see. Just as Lot saw a land that was beautiful, fertile, and full of possibilities, I am also tempted to choose paths based on appearance, comfort, and immediate opportunities. Forgive me for the times when I considered only the visible benefits and failed to seek Your direction. Give me a sensitive heart to discern not only what seems good, but what is truly part of Your will for my life. Help me understand that the environments I choose to remain in deeply influence who I become. Guard my heart from influences that pull me away from Your presence, and strengthen my faith to remain in places that promote spiritual growth, even when they do not seem the most attractive in human eyes. May I never exchange Your peace for temporary advantages, nor Your presence for empty promises that do not come from You. Father, give me wisdom to recognize the moments when I need to leave behind certain seasons, relationships, habits, or environments. Many times I cling to what I already know out of fear of change or uncertainty. But I know that when […]

The crisis of life “with” God

The crisis of life “with” God

We live in a generation that values what is visible, shareable, and recognized. In the midst of this, life with God faces a silent risk: losing the value of what is done in secret. What should be the foundation of our faith—intimacy with the Father—is often replaced by a spirituality that is visible, yet empty. Jesus taught us a completely different path—a path where what is done in secret is not optional, but essential. Where It all begins “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen…” Matthew 6:6 A true life with God is not born in public, but in secret. It is there, away from human eyes, that the relationship is built, the heart is aligned, and faith becomes real. Jesus was not only teaching about prayer, but about priorities. What we do in secret reveals where our heart truly is. When that place loses value, faith begins to grow shallow, and everything starts to feel difficult. Without secrecy, there is no depth. Without intimacy, there is no real transformation. Public expressions may impress, but it is the secret place that sustains. I know there are days when […]
