How do you feel inside?

How do you feel inside?

The problem is not that there is chaos around you, as you need to focus on what is happening inside you.

God is much more concerned about how you are than how things around you are…

He’s in us…

“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”

1 John 4:4

In Acts 16 we see the story of when Paul was arrested. He was in captivity, but Paul’s inside was at peace and that set him free. In the story of Mark 4, when the storm hits, Jesus was at peace within and the storm stoped. Their states of mind, the feeling of peace within them coming from God changed the environment.

What is within us has enough power to transform everything around us, it is not the other way around…

When we fear the Lord, prosperity and peace accompany us wherever we are. Even if the environment calls you to make mistakes, to sin, to lie, to steal… If your principles are well established and your interior is at peace in Him, the environment is changed, not you.

1st step: Obedience

“We must obey God rather than human beings!”

Acts 5:29

But we also cannot go too thirsty, believing that we, with our own strength, can change the world alone.

The strength is His, the will is His and the final word is His. If He doesn’t want a specific environment to be modified by you, leave, withdraw. Don’t let yourself be swallowed by that place, God will raise other people and situations so that the transformation can be made. Remove yourself, praying for it, because sometimes you are not yet prepared in Him for this action.

The objective we must have is to obey and follow the call that God gives us, where He leads us with our hearts filled with His peace, even if with fear, but with faith and hope moving us.

Firm on principles

“Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor. Blessings and prosperity will be yours.”

Psalms 128:1-2

I talk about obeying the Father because, if we try to change an environment without preparing ourselves in Him and without filling ourselves with the peace of the Lord, we run the risk of being distracted by the world, and the environment begins to get inside us.

That’s why our interior needs to be focused on the Creator, as we don’t have enough strength alone. When our inner self is at peace and we seek the Kingdom first, people see a different glow coming from us. The shine of the Holy Spirit.

It is from this that God acts. This is how God raises the right people, at the right times, for transformations and miracles to happen in the right way: His.

Don’t focus on how the environment around you is, because God doesn’t care about that. He wants to know where your heart is. If you are in Him, being filled with the peace that surpasses all understanding. He works through it.

God did not call you to see the scenario, but to remain firm in your principles and faith.

The right place

Throughout life, we are constantly called to make choices. Some seem obvious, attractive, and full of opportunities. Others require faith, patience, and trust in God. The problem is that not everything that looks good to our eyes is truly what is best for our future. The Bible shows us this through the story of Abraham and Lot, a narrative that remains extremely relevant for everyone who desires to live according to God’s will. Appearances can be deceiving “Lot looked around and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan toward Zoar was well watered, like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt. (This was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.)” Genesis 13:10 There came a time when Abraham’s and Lot’s flocks had grown so much that the land could no longer support them together. To avoid conflict, Abraham proposed that they separate and gave Lot the opportunity to choose first where he would go. Lot saw a place that, from a human perspective, seemed like the perfect choice. The plain was fertile, abundant, and promising. Everything pointed to prosperity. But Lot evaluated only what he could see. He observed the appearance of the land but ignored […]

Prayer: Running from religious fear

Prayer: Running from religious fear

In the previous text, we talked a little about religious OCD and how it takes our focus away from what Christ truly expects from us. Today, I want to invite you to pray with me about this subject, so that we may feel free in the Father’s presence, seeking Him with love, gratitude, and true peace. You do not need to pray exactly as I will write here. Open your heart genuinely to God. But it will be a pleasure to accompany you in this moment of prayer and seeking. Prayer Father, I know that many times my mind is filled with fear, guilt, and thoughts that steal the peace of my faith. I know that You do not want me to live imprisoned by spiritual anxiety, constantly trying to earn a love that was already given to me on the cross. Teach me to rest in You and to remember that Your love is not sustained by my performance, but by Your infinite grace. When intrusive thoughts come, when the fear of condemnation tries to dominate my heart, and when I feel spiritually overwhelmed, help me remember Your truth. Your Word says that I was not given a spirit […]
