“Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope”
Lamentations 3:21
Often what we can see is only chaos and darkness. Today, it seems that we can only look at what is in front of our eyes, which is the confusion and concern of a pandemic that has been plaguing us. Closed schools, markets with food shortages, more and more cases of infected people every day and many other factors that have contributed to everyone being worried and desperate in the face of this atypical situation in which we are living.
But the Bible teaches us to place our hope in the Lord! Putting our eyes on Him and not on the circumstances.
An unusual moment
This is an unusual moment for us, but from everything we live we can learn great lessons. The biggest recommendation of health professionals is to stay in quarantine and not leave the house so that there is a decrease in the number of people infected. This situation has taught us to think collectively, as it is something that the whole world is living together.
We have had to take care of our parents, grandparents and family. Ensure the health of everyone in our home. And the Word really teaches us that our practice of our faith begins with our family.
“But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God.”
Timothy 5: 4
Look from a new perspective
Jesus invites us to look in the same way that He sees things: from the perspective from above and not from a place of despair, confusion and fear. May our eyes be invaded with the hope of heaven. May our eyes be transformed as we contemplate Him and may we not allow the stormy days to lead us to discredit the good days to come.
The world is in a state of public calamity, many are losing hope but this is not the time to despair. But to remember that the Lord is for us and that is why we place our hope in Him. Because He lives, we can believe in tomorrow, there is no fear, trust in Him and we do not forget that our life is in the hands of Jesus who is alive.
“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
2 Corinthians 4:17-18
This is the time to find our Hope and put it in the right place, which is in Jesus. We do not have total control in the face of this epidemic that we are facing, but we can do our part: bring to memory the One who brings us hope and stay at home as a way of loving others and caring for our society.
Amen, this is very comforting as we look unto the LORD for His mercy which endures forever.
God bless you woman of God
this is the truth indeed i was just reading hebrews 11 : 27 and i was blessed with what is added to make me understand
As believers we understand by his grace that In the midst of this situation the unseen hope becomes more a substance as we inclune to the direction of the burning bush
jesus is lord

As believers our faith comes from hearing and reading God’s word. Like Paul said it is something hoped for. not yet seen. We can still worship him without large gatherings. Stay fixed on a holy course for I no in the end those that believe will be remembered. God’s word is the only truth!
Thank u very much. This info has been much helpful. God bless u
I see this pandemic as a possible ” birth pain “, a sign of the ” beginning of the end.” Our Lord talks of it in Mat 24. Especially in verses 4 to 8. But the END is not yet. I believe we Christians will go through the Tribulation. We must be steadfast relying on the Lord. Then at the final trumpet sound ” the dead in Christ will rise first and we who remain alive will be caught up to join Him in the air!” Do not fear ” all these things must come to pass.” God is in control. Rom 8:28 says, ” All things are working together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose.” Remember we are only walking through the vally of the shadow of death, we are not to camp there for God is with us and will see us through. Thanks, glory and honor to our God through Christ Jesus. AMEN…
With everything that’s going on God is in control of all things always think and stay positive
Thank you for this… In this moment in fear, worry and anxiety positive truth from Jesus and trust is greatly needed! I pray for everyone and they stay in good healthy! 🙏👍🙏🏽
🙏🙏
Yes despite of whats going on this world there is still God who is in control of everything. If we can put our trust in Him, His perfect loves cast all fears.
I said all these things because I just received a call from my doctor this afternoon told me the good results of my mri test. I give back all the glory and honor to our only one God Jesus Christ because I received miracle healing.
With all the negative news around the world there is still Good News that God perform miracles in the midst of crisis.
GLORY TO GOD.
Amen
We must have hope in whatever we do
“My hope is built on nothing less but Jesus’ love and His righteousness”. I know that because of His love, He is going to take care of His children. Of course that means, those that will endure and come through this ordeal, and those that will be absent here on earth, but present with Him. We must not forget that God is in control and he knows all that is happening to His children. Our faith tells us that He will never forsake us or leave us. He will be with us until the end of the age. No matter what we are going through, we must not take our eyes off the prize of spending eternity with the Trinity. That is what it is all about.
Read 2nd Chronicles 7:14.
We his people have to apply this promise. But the promise comes with a condition on us. Turn from our pet sin, and if we are honest, there are very few who do not have one. And humble ourselves into him. If we do that, our prayers in this regard can be mighty.
I must say that I have seen God richly in this time. My son’s father passed away from cancer a week before quarantine. I have only been able to deal with his remains and nothing more. Everything else is on hold. Mourning has been odd. People must keep distance so hugs are scarce. It is my son and I. However, I have seen God’s love overwhelm this difficult time in so many ways that I cannot help but find joy amidst the suffering. God truly is awesome, beautiful, and purely love. Please do not ever lose hope in Christ. God through Him will always prevail 😊💗🌈🙏🙌
