Where Christ is not welcome
As tempting as it may be to journey where you desire, refrain from proceeding if it means leaving God behind along the way.
Any path without Him leads towards the abyss. Despite the pain involved, relinquishment and surrender bring us peace and accomplishments far beyond what we could ever imagine.
Don’t follow your limits
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm. Lord, give victory to the king! Answer us when we call!”
God calls you to live your best life in this world, not as a slave to your desires and dreams, but with the Father by your side, guiding you to ever greater heights.
When we walk alone, we rely solely on our own abilities and strength, reaching only as far as our own limits allow.
However, when we choose to walk with God, we surpass our own strength, being empowered by Him. Consequently, we reach places that we could never reach on our own, as there are no limits to Him.
Our minds can only comprehend so much, and our strength has its limits. But when we fix our focus on Him, we go much further.
Working in the unlikely
“Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set His seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.”
2 Corinthians 1:21-22
Do not venture to a place where you would have to forsake God’s presence along the way.
No matter how long you have pursued this dream, building your foundation on anything other than God leads to destruction. The Lord has bestowed His presence upon us, and we desperately need it. All joy, fulfillment, peace, and rest flow from His presence.
Yet, we are unworthy of it. Though it may be difficult to accept, it is also cause for great rejoicing, for we rely on God’s grace, and His mercy is everlasting!
He calls the unlikely.
If the Father only summoned those we deem “good,” then the glory would belong to the righteous. But God operates through the improbable, showing us where true glory originates. Without His grace, there is no goodness sufficient.
What was once incapable becomes capable, and those who strive to be something will find abundance in Him.
Completely willing
“The path of life leads upward for the prudent to keep them from going down to the realm of the dead.”
Proverbs 15:24
If you sense peace in your heart regarding something that appears impossible in your eyes, rest assured that God is attending to it.
The Father’s perspective transcends ours; He discerns the innermost aspects of situations that we perceive only superficially.
Consider David, chosen despite his physical frailty; Zacchaeus, selected for his faith despite his sins; and Joseph, recipient of promises even while imprisoned.
Ultimately, it hinges on the willingness and openness of your heart to serve and follow Jesus. This necessitates relinquishing everything to make room for the Lord.
He desires all of you, not just a portion. Refrain from stepping toward places where God’s presence isn’t welcomed. He is your everything!
