Prayer: Good Fruits

In the last text we talked about the seed that He sows in our hearts and the fruit that is generated in us when we are in Him.

Today I want to use this space to pray together about these fruits and these seeds. Let’s pray for the soil we are (or should be) to be fertile for the Kingdom.

I invite you to pray with me. Remembering that you don’t have to pray exactly as it is written here. Everyone has their own way of talking to the Father and I want you to feel free to pray as you prefer. But if you want, I’ll be happy to accompany you. 🙂

PRAYER

“Father, thank you for pouring so much on me, even though I didn’t deserve it. I am filled with gratitude for your work, for your mercy, love and care. For entrusting me with something so much greater than myself. I thank you for my gifts and my calling.

More than giving thanks for what I receive from You every day, I want to pray for what I deliver before it. God, teach me to take care of what You have entrusted to my hands. Give me wisdom and discernment to handle Your gifts with care and responsibility. I want all my actions to bear good fruit, and that my objective in sowing goes far beyond what is earthly. May everything I do have Your Kingdom and Eternity as its purpose.

Put in me a spirit ready to serve, deliver, work. A heart willing to receive, plant, sow and reap wisely, being guided by Your love and Your word.

Lord, make me sensitive to Your voice and make my ears fear it. That when listening to You, my spirit has the need to follow the sound of Your voice, taking with courage and faith each step You direct.

May every detail of my walk honor Your name and glorify Your greatness. Make me good soil, a fertile ground for the seeds that You, Lord, have entrusted to me.

It is in the name of Jesus that I pray.
Amen!”

Prayer: Purify and restore

Prayer: Purify and restore

Father, today I stand before You, acknowledging my need for the presence of Your Holy Spirit. There are areas of my life that often resemble dry, weary, and barren land. There are times when my faith weakens, my heart becomes heavy, and my soul thirsts for the water that only You can offer. Therefore, I ask You: pour out Your showers of blessing upon me. May Your Spirit renew what is worn out, restore what is broken, and bring life where there is dryness. Just as You promised to pour water upon the thirsty land, I acknowledge my dependence on You. I do not want to seek satisfaction in the fleeting things of this world, but in the inexhaustible source of Your presence. Fill my heart with Your peace, strengthen my faith, and help me remain close to You at all times. May Your Spirit flow through my life like rivers of living water, bringing hope, direction, and renewal to every area that needs Your touch. Holy Spirit, fall upon me like a flood. Invade the places in my heart that I have not yet fully surrendered to the Lord. Wash away my worries, my fears, my insecurities, and everything […]

Rain and fire upon us

Rain and fire upon us

Throughout the Scriptures, God uses powerful images to reveal the work of the Holy Spirit. Among them, two appear repeatedly: rain and fire. They may seem like completely opposite images when we read them, but rain speaks of life, renewal, and abundance, while fire speaks of purification, holiness, and power. When we cry out, “Holy Spirit, fall like a flood” or “Holy Spirit, send Your fire,” we are echoing deeply biblical symbols that point to God’s work among His people. The Holy Spirit is not merely a force or a passing emotion. He is the living presence of God dwelling within us, transforming dry hearts into fertile ground and igniting cold lives with the fire of His presence. Rain upon dry ground “I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.” Ezekiel 34:26 Since the Old Testament, God has promised to pour out blessings upon His people like rain that falls at the proper time. The image of water is frequently used to describe spiritual renewal, restoration, and abundant life that come from the Lord. In a world marked by spiritual exhaustion, many hearts […]

Prayer: Meet me in the secret place

Prayer: Meet me in the secret place

Father, today I stand before You, acknowledging that many times I have allowed busyness, distractions, and the need for approval to steal from me the value of the secret place. Forgive me for the times I sought appearance more than intimacy, and recognition more than Your presence. I do not want to live a superficial faith, but a true relationship with You, built away from prying eyes and close to Your heart. Teach me once again to return to the secret place. May my prayer time not be a matter of obligation, but of a deep desire to encounter You. May I learn to seek You not only for what You can do for me, but for who You are. Give me a heart that delights in Your presence, that longs to hear Your voice and remain with You even in silence. Holy Spirit, reveal everything that has taken the center of my heart. If there is vanity, spiritual pride, or a need for human validation within me, I ask You: transform me. May I not live to appear spiritual before people, but to be known by You. Form in me a sincere and profound life, aligned with Your will. […]
