Father, fulfill your plans in my life!
How many times have you prayed asking for the concretion of a plan or a dream? I can say that I have prayed this prayer a few times and I have not always received what I wanted in the time I was waiting. Many people are discouraged by this, but they forget that there are some reasons for these wishes not to come true.
The most obvious is that these plans and dreams might not be good for us and our God as Father does not grant them because he knows the evil they would bring. Another, and that many times still is not the right time, so the Lord needs to work in us so that they can be realized in a perfect way.
Besides, I believe that one of the most important reasons is the fact that God has the best in us, and thinking about this, today we will pray that not our own, but the Lord’s plans will come true in our lives. I also want to leave here 3 verses for you today:
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
Ephesians 3:20-21 (NIV)
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:33-34 (NIV)
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalms 37:4 (NIV)
Remembering that you don’t have to repeat the prayer exactly as I’m going to leave it here, because each one of us has a specific way to communicate with the Lord. But if you want to accompany me, it will be a pleasure, feel free to speak your way.
Prayer
Dear God, I thank You for everything You have done in my life, for taking care of me in the smallest details and always having the best prepared. I know that even the “no’s” I receive are your care and I thank you for each release. I ask you to help me to trust You more and not to become discouraged under the circumstances.
The Lord knows that I have great plans and dreams, which I yearn to fulfill. However, some seem never to be granted. That is why I wanted to pray to the Lord, asking Him to make the dreams that are according to His will for me come true. I also ask that my desires be aligned with yours. I pray that those who can take me away from You will no longer be in my thoughts and heart.
May my greatest desire always be to worship You and live what the Lord has for me. I know that I am flawed and often do not do what is of Your will, but I no longer want to act that way. Forgive me for every time I disobey Your will. Touch my heart and also take away all the anxiety I have, because it only hinders me in making decisions.
May instead of anxiety there be peace that exceeds all understanding, because I know that I am cared for by the only one who has all the answers and who is sure of what is best for me. Here I am, Lord, touch the most intimate part of my being, bringing transformation so that your plans come true in my life. It is in the name of Jesus that I pray, give thanks and ask that my words come like a sweet perfume to the Lord!
