God, I know that many times I have trusted more in myself than in Your grace. Forgive me for every time I tried to carry burdens alone, forgetting that You are the One who sustains, strengthens, and guides me. May my heart not lean toward self-sufficiency, but find rest and direction only in You, the eternal Rock.
Teach me to depend on You in everything. Even when circumstances seem to be under my control, I want to remember that it is not by might nor by my own power, but by Your Spirit that I live and can reach higher places. May I never forget that my very breath comes from You, and that without Your presence, I am only dust. Break down my pride and renew within me a humble spirit that bows before Your sovereignty, leading other people around me, in communion, to also worship You!
Father, help me to trust in Your ways more than my own. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, I want to trust in the Lord with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding. I want to acknowledge Your hand in all my steps and see my paths made straight and shaped by Your wise and loving hands.
Lead my heart daily into dependence on You. In moments of doubt or fear, remind me that my strength comes from You. In important decisions or in the small choices of the day, guide me according to Your will and remove from me any vanity of wanting to be in control. May my life be a living testimony of Your sustaining grace.
Lord, thank You that I don’t have to walk alone. I am grateful for the people that the Lord places by my side, in whom I can trust and walk alongside, being a three-fold cord with You! Thank You for Your patience and for Your love that calls me and welcomes me back, even when I try to go on my own. May my joy be found in living at Your feet—fully surrendered, fully Yours. Today, I surrender once again to Your will, trusting that depending on You is the greatest act of faith and freedom. Amen.
