I would like to say a brief prayer with you, to ask for the Lord’s help! We often lose the incentive and the will to seek the Word of the Lord and His presence!
You do not need to repeat this prayer exactly as I am going to leave it here, not least because each of us has a specific way of communicating with the Lord! So if you want to accompany me, it will be a pleasure, but feel free to speak your way!
“Lord, I came here again today to open my heart and ask you for help!
I have been having difficulties to seek You. I confess that I no longer have the same desire to talk to you, read Your Word and spend time in worship, as it was before This has been bothering me!
I want to seek you with all my heart and worry about what really matters, which is pleasing You! So I ask you for mercy. Give me strength, give me hunger, give me thirst. of the Lord and without You, I cannot survive, without His Word, I have no strength to continue this journey!
I ask you Lord to guide my heart to worship and to Your presence! I need to learn to depend on Your Word, learn that if I don’t have a quality time with you, I will never have the strength to overcome temptations and please You!
Forgive me for my failures and for neglecting Your love for me! You and Your grace! It is in Your Holy name that I pray, thanking you for all that has done for me and asking for forgiveness for my sins!

I can remember there was a time, when I would just blurt out things to God. Not really understanding or having a concept of how to speak to There Creator of Heaven and Earth and even us human beings. But please for the sake of your souls, clear your mind & have your surroundings quiet. Close the door to your room if you have to. And let God minister to your heart, because who knows the heart above all things. Only your Creator All Mighty God, then when you were able to let God’s spirit speak directly to your heart, and then you can pour out your heart to Him because He knows everything already. Staying in prayer in the spirit of God, and just let go and let God do the rest. God bless you all. Amen

I’m continuing to battle against focusing more on social media as opposed to spending time with our God. I’ve just downloaded the bible app. Now, I have no more excuses to not spend time with God. I can read it at work when I’m not busy.

Yes, we all face battle with our phones, tablets, social media etc. You get a message, look to see what iz was and before you know 1-2 hours are gone. Father i pray that you will all of us with these same issues to instead start days with you, hearing from you, asking forgive and seeking you face and help for the day ahead and seeking to give more of our time to you.
