Under grace

Under grace

God’s presence is more than just a fleeting moment; it is the place where we were created to dwell and seek daily. From the very beginning, He called us into deep communion, but sin separated us from this reality.

In Christ, that connection was restored, and now we are invited to remain in Him every day. We must stand firm in the hope of eternal life that He has promised.

Housing

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.”

John 15:4

God’s presence is not a place we simply pass through; it is the eternal home of those who love Him. From creation, we were made to live in communion with Him, but sin distanced us from that reality. Through His sacrifice, Christ restored our access to the Father’s presence, and now we are called to remain in Him every day.

Dwelling in God’s presence means maintaining a constant relationship, not just experiencing isolated moments of visitation. He desires to lead us through the Holy Spirit so that we may live according to His will. This connection transforms our decisions, emotions, and purpose, as we find peace and direction in Him.

We must seek to truly dwell in His presence. The psalmist expresses this longing, saying that his soul thirsts for the living God. When we understand that our true home is in Him, we yearn for His presence above all else.

An Essay for Eternity

“Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.”

James 4:14

Our life on earth is fleeting, a brief moment in light of eternity. That is why we must live with purpose, investing in what truly bears fruit for the Kingdom.

Jesus taught us to store up treasures in heaven. Too often, we become distracted by temporary concerns and forget where our true home is. We must spend our lives in obedience to God, fulfilling His calling while there is still time.

Our earthly life is a rehearsal for what we will experience with Christ. Even our afflictions lose their weight when we remember the glory that is to come.

Eternal Promise

“Simon Peter answered him, ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”

John 6:68

The greatest hope of a Christian is the promise of eternal life. There is no other path to true life except through Christ.

This eternity is not just a destination but a gift that begins now. Living in communion with Him allows us to experience a glimpse of what heaven will be like.

Our journey must be rooted in this hope. Each day should be lived for the glory of God, knowing that life here is temporary and that in Christ, we have an eternal future of joy, peace, and fullness.
