Towards the future

Towards the future

You need to make your future respect you, but there is a right way to do that.

It’s necessary for you to reflect on your steps and work on your path, moving toward God’s plans.

Sow today!

“Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.”

John 12:24

The only way for your future to respect you is through your sowing.

It will not respect your wishes, your projects, or your personal plans. But what you plant and nurture along the way shapes and prepares your future, and that’s how it respects you.

No matter how well-intentioned your dream may be, if it isn’t accompanied by action, it won’t take you anywhere.

Walk in obedience

“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

Joshua 1:8

Your future does not respect the voice of your promises. If you do not walk in obedience, they will not be fulfilled in your life.

God has already activated them in the spiritual realm, but for them to become real and tangible, you will need to work towards that.

Many stories in the Bible show us this. None of them would have happened without action and effort. For your future to unfold, you will need to work with obedience and consistency.

Focused on grace

“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”

Hebrews 12:2-3

This doesn’t mean there won’t be fear and obstacles along the way, but by keeping your eyes fixed on God and His promises, you will find strength and courage to keep moving forward.

Your future depends on your present, on what you do today to make it happen. Don’t stand still, don’t let fear paralyze you, and don’t allow difficulties to make you give up.

You have a God who is by your side, guiding and accompanying you at all times. Walk in God’s ways!
