Have we enjoyed the communion of people, even through technology? Have we spent time with our brothers / sisters in the faith? Or have we walked alone?
Today I would like to talk a little about the importance of communion between the brothers. We often think that there is no need to be in communion! Is that really it?

” Praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord, you his servants;

praise the name of the Lord.
Let the name of the Lord be praised,
both now and forevermore.
From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,
the name of the Lord is to be praised. “
As we have already said in one of the last texts, it is not new for any of us who live in society. And, because we live in society, we need to understand the value of relating to the people around us.
Many times, people hurt us or we hurt other people and it ends up disturbing our relationships. In fact, many people turn away from God and stop attending churches, due to the attitudes of people who hurt them. But we need to understand that just as we have flaws, so do the people around us.
We will never find perfect churches, with perfect people. We are flawed and we live with flawed people. Therefore, at some point we will experience difficulties or problems in our relationships. However, none of this should be a reason big enough to turn away from the Lord.
Our faith needs to be established in such a way that, no matter what happens in our lives, we will not depart from the Lord and lose confidence in His plans. I am not saying that this is anything easy at all. In fact, it is very difficult. But Christ already said that we would go through difficulties.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
We are the Church of Christ.
“In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. “
Ephesians 2:21
Paul was one of the authors who spoke most about ecclesiological life (life in and of the church) and, with him, we learned several things. But, in my view, there is something extremely important in Paul’s teachings about the Church.
The apostle tells us that the whole church is adjusted and grows to become a holy sanctuary in the Lord, that is, all of us, together, are shaped by the Holy Spirit, through the renewal of our minds (Romans 12: 2), so that we can glorify the name of God.
We, the church, are the body of Christ and each of us has a role. Just as in a functional organism, every organ has its function (the legs walk, the eyes come, the heart pumps blood to the rest of the body), each of us has a function within a larger plane, which is the plane of God.
From the moment that we do not walk in unity, helping each other, in order to grow in wisdom, faith and discernment, we will have more and more difficulty to go through problems and difficulties. Two minds are better than one and, moreover, experience is something that interferes a lot in this. If a brother / sister in the faith has already experienced a problem that we are experiencing, he will certainly be able to help us and vice versa.
” And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. “
Hebrews 10: 24-25
Communicate!
Knowing all these things, I would like to leave a request to the whole Church of Christ: communicate!
Don’t you think it’s time we had unnecessary intrigues with the brothers in the church? Don’t you think it’s past time to ask forgiveness from those we hurt and release forgiveness over those who hurt us?
We are often ashamed to talk about the difficulties we have, because we think the wrong way. We think a lot about what others will think of us if they learn about our faults, instead of thinking about the horrible pain that will bring us to continue with certain problems rooted and unresolved in our hearts.
So, get in the habit of communicating! Invest time talking to your leaders, telling about your difficulties and talking about your desires and desires. Do not keep this burden to yourself, because the more you try to carry it alone, the heavier it will become, as the years, months, days, hours, minutes and seconds pass. Share, talk and have communion!
