Prayer: Wisdom in the midst of crisis

Prayer: Wisdom in the midst of crisis

We are not in an easy moment worldwide, the coronavirus is still circulating around, many people are hospitalized, others are still unemployed, and with this we see the hope of many getting dimmed. More than ever we need to be strategic, focus on what matters, and be wise in our actions and decisions.

That is why I want to pray together with you for wisdom in the midst of this crisis, so that we can deal with it in the best way. I leave here a passage especially for you today:

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28

Remember that you don’t have to repeat the prayer exactly as I am going to leave it here, because each one of us has a specific way of communicating with the Lord. But if you want to follow me, it will be a pleasure, feel free to speak it in your own way.

Prayer

Beloved God, I want to thank you first of all for all that you have been doing, for your care and protection. I thank you for your provision throughout this crisis period and for your infinite love.

I know that this is not an easy time for many and I put myself among those people, but still, I have You and there are many people who still in the midst of all this do not know Your word and truth.

You know Father, I want to make wise decisions in all my life, but especially in such a delicate moment as this, I ask for your direction and wisdom to deal in the best way with my family, finances and friends.

May my decisions be based on Your will, please You and bring me closer to You. I know that I fail in my attitudes, words, and thoughts, and I ask forgiveness for that too, Father.

I pray for the homes in my country, change the reality of my nation, and give discernment to its leaders, so that they will also make wise decisions in this period of crisis.

My God, yours is the power, the glory and the honor forever. It is in the name of Jesus that I pray, give thanks and ask that my words may reach the Lord like a sweet perfume!

Prayer of a mere servant of God

God bless you!
