Prayer: Urgency to move

Prayer: Urgency to move

In recent texts, I spoke to you about how the Father is not just a priority, but an urgency. And how He moves through us.

Today, I want to use this space to pray about these matters. I want to ask that we can move for Him with that sense of urgency, looking for the Spirit and His work in us. Having strength and boldness to put Him before first place and move in favor of it.

Remembering that you don’t need to pray exactly as I’m going to leave it here, because I know that everyone has their own way of talking to the Father and I want you to feel comfortable talking to Him in your own way. But if you want, I’ll be happy to accompany you in this prayer.

Prayer

“Father, how good it is to know that, even moving in You, I can rest in Your love and in Your action. I can rest knowing that You move through me and gives me strength in the face of everything that is impossible.

I want to ask today for my heart to be open and understand how important and essential it is that my first search in every situation is the Lord. May my ears and eyes be open to follow in His footsteps and obey His ways, first and foremost.

Fill my being with Your courage, so that I can move by Your Holy Spirit, responding to every call that You, Lord, makes to me with faith and hope. That just like in the text of Matthew 6, I seek before all Your Kingdom and Your righteousness. May my heart be attentive to what You speak and may everything I hear from You be like an order for my feet to follow with vehemence and authority.

God, don’t let anything take your place in my life. May everything I dream and plan be in second place compared to You and may I understand that, before anything and all my priorities, the Lord is my urgency. May every step I take be led by the Spirit and what He wants to move through me, working miracles and reaching people and places through my feet.

Be the center of everything and guide me where Your Holy Spirit desires. May participating in Your work be the greatest objective of my life and may I have the strength and faith to do what is within my reach, fearing the moment when I need to leave free space for the action of Your hands.

Lord, I ask you this and thank you for everything You will still do through my life. Teach me to grow and deepen myself more and more in Your love, having such a close relationship to the point that Your voice is the only one that I listen to as a guide and that, through this closeness with You, I become Your extension on earth, practicing the GO together with Your Spirit.

It is in the name of Jesus that I pray. Amen!”
