Today we are going to pray for something that can be so basic, but is sometimes so forgotten by us, the value that we have as children of God. We are more valuable than birds to Him, but sometimes we put ourselves in the condition of being forgotten by the Lord, we believe that He is not looking after us and seeing our pains, but do you know what? He is, He sees your pain, He knows your needs and as a loving Father will satisfy them when the time is right!
I leave here a passage especially for you today:
“No one can serve two masters; for he will hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Money.” “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your own lives, as to what to eat or drink; nor about your own bodies, as to what to wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air: they do not sow or reap or store in barns, yet their heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they are? Who among you, no matter how much he worries, can add even one hour to his life? “Why do you worry about clothes? Look at how the lilies of the field grow. They neither work nor weave. Yet I tell you that even Solomon, in all his splendor, did not dress like one of them. If God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is there and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will He not much more clothe you, men of little faith? So don’t worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear? But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. So don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Sufficient for each day is its own evil.”
Matthew 6:24-34
Remembering that you don’t have to repeat the prayer exactly as I’m going to leave it here, because each one of us has a specific way of communicating with the Lord. But if you want to follow me, it will be a pleasure, feel free to speak it in your own way.
Prayer
Beloved God, I thank you for all that you have done and will do, today I pray to you recognizing that I am loved by you, that you love in a perfect way, that you take care of me in the smallest details, even when I don’t see your action there you are, acting in adversities and when everything is fine you are also with me, taking care of the present and of what comes ahead.
I don’t always recognize your action in my life and I show myself unhappy for what you have already done, so I ask for your forgiveness, because even though you are faithful, many times I don’t correspond to your faithfulness. Father, I love you and I want to walk with you forever. Thank you for everything, for your love, goodness and justice.
Father, you know my needs, you know my pains, yet I bring them to you and ask for your intervention in each of these matters (name needs and requests). My God, yours is the power, the glory and the honor forever. It is in the name of Jesus that I pray, give thanks and ask that my words may reach the Lord like a sweet perfume!
