Prayer for love

“Because lawlessness will multiply, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

– Matthew 20:12-14

We have seen exactly what this verse says happen. Love has grown cold in all parts of the world, hatred has spread in an overwhelming way, reaching the point where the Church is being contaminated with it.

Today, I want to propose that we pray together so that the Lord may pour out His love on the earth, on the Church and on each one of us. Remembering that you don’t need to pray exactly like I’m doing here, after all, everyone has their own way of talking to our Father, but I’ll be happy to accompany you.

Prayer

“Lord, my God and Father, I thank you for this breath of life that you have given us today.

Father, we have seen so many bad things happen, so much hatred and bitterness among people, even among my brothers. He comes with His overwhelming love for us, a love that constrains us. Help us to love even those who are against us.

Holy Spirit, I cry out to pour out this love on the world. That through our lives, other people can know this beautiful and wonderful love. May we be ambassadors of Your hope and peace.

We don’t want to separate from that love, don’t let us go far from Your love. Draw us close to You, day by day. Help us to remain in the courts of Your love.

I love you, Father, thank you for loving me in spite of me.

I pray to Thee, in Jesus’ Name,
Amen.”

Procrastinators

We live in a tired generation. We constantly hear about procrastination, discouragement, and the difficulty of completing even simple daily tasks. Many times, our lives seem organized on the outside, but inside there is an overwhelmed mind with no strength to begin. Getting out of bed feels difficult. Small tasks become gigantic. Simple things remain unfinished and, without realizing it, we accumulate pending matters that increase our anxiety even more. Procrastination is not always born from laziness. Sometimes, it comes from mental exhaustion, emotional overload, and a mind that can no longer handle so many demands at the same time. And perhaps the answer is not in doing more, but in slowing down, breathing, and learning to walk one step at a time before God again. Slow down

“By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.” Genesis 2:2-3 We live in a world that romanticizes endless productivity, busyness, and overloaded schedules. However, the Bible teaches us that there is deep value in pausing, resting, and being still. God Himself, after creating the world, rested on the seventh day—not because He was tired, but to establish a principle: rest is sacred. Slowing down is not wasting time; it’s aligning our hearts with Heaven’s rhythm. Rest is not just a physical need but a spiritual act. In Exodus 20, God institutes the Sabbath, a day set apart to stop working and remember that He is the source of everything. This teaches us that we are not defined by our productivity but by who we are in Him. Rest recenters us and reminds us that the world is not in our hands but in God’s hands.
