Did you sin? Take Christ’s hand and get up!

Did you sin? Take Christ’s hand and get up!

From the moment we sin, accusations arise and can take over our minds. We need to talk about the danger of the charges.

This is a topic that has spoken a lot to my heart and I have realized how much the accusations can hinder our spiritual journey!

Come on?

The accusation does not come from God

“Then I heard a strong voice from heaven, saying: “Now has come the salvation, the power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ, forbeen cast out the accuser of our brothers has, who accuses them before our God, day and night.”

Revelation 12:10

Whenever we fall into temptation, Satan will try to put us down, saying that” we are no longer children of God, who “are not worthy of God’s forgiveness” and many other things.

Undoubtedly, listening to the accusations was one of the things that hindered me most in my spiritual journey. From the moment we give, we let the accusations enter our minds, we enter a cycle, in which we sin and feel ashamed to speak with God and this distances us from Him, how we return to sin.

This has happened to me several times and, sometimes, I confess that they happen again. However, the Holy Spirit guides our hearts and, thanks to Him, we can be freed from it and live under the grace of the Lord.

But for that, we need to be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit and listen to it. Only then can we live the will of God and truly live in His peace.

The Spirit Guides Us

“And hope brings no confusion, because the love of God is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

Romans 5: 5

The Holy Spirit brings us the love of the father and comforts our hearts in difficult times and in the midst of temptations. He is the one who illuminates our ways and searches our hearts. It shows us what’s wrong with us and drives us to transformation.

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Romans 8:15-16

The Holy Spirit of God testifies to our spirit and confirms our identity as children. We can no longer be enslaved by accusations, fear or sin. Through the power of this same Spirit, we can overcome the works of the flesh.

“Now go and sin no more”

“And when Jesus straightened up and saw no one but the woman, he said to him, Woman, where are your accusers? Has anyone condemned you?  And she said, No one, Lord. And Jesus said to him, Nor do I condemn you; go and sin no more. “

John 8: 10-11

But for that to happen, we need to get up and ally ourselves with the power, grace and glory of God. Christ demonstrated His compassion for the adulterous woman:” So little I condemn you “. If Christ, who is God Himself, does not condemn us, what power does Satan have to leave us on the ground in the midst of difficulties.

But at this very moment, there is a delicate point. Christ’s speech does not stop there, he continues:… “Now go and sin no more” He lifts us, after we sin and shows us that we do not condemn But we can not remain the same after a meeting with the grace and love of Christ

As I said in one of the last texts, a phrase that I heard and touched me a lot: “As long as sin is not bitter, Christ will not be sweet!” We need to stop letting Satan’s accusations enter our minds and cling to the precious grace of Christ,

sinned, fell, failed, repent, give yourself into the hands of the One who and has power to save us and feel His sweet and tender love.

Grace and peace
