In times when the world is in constant motion and we are always in a hurry, it can be difficult to pay attention to what God has to say to us, with this many believe they are incapable of it, or even that our Father chooses people to speak, but in In truth, the Lord wants to have a deep relationship with us, so much that He speaks to us at all times and in different ways. In this blog post, you will see the 4 ways in which God speaks to you.
1. God speaks through the Bible
All Scripture is divinely inspired and profitable to teach, write, correct, instruct in justice; So that the man of God may be perfect and perfectly instructed for every good work.
2 Timothy 3: 16,17
The Bible is God’s main tool for talking to us, because as it is written in the above passage it was entirely inspired by God, and therefore it is sacred and important for us to know His will for our lives. Through it the Lord manifests himself, whether to advise, exhort or comfort us. Therefore, try to take the time to read the Bible daily, it is through the knowledge of the word that we are instructed and guided to walk the path that pleases our Father.
2. God speaks through situations
And we know that all things contribute to the good of those who love God, of those who are called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28
Our Lord uses everyday situations to talk to us and even work on our minds and hearts. Whether due to a disease where He provides the cure, or a moment of financial difficulty that He comes with resources, or even in the small moments of the week when we need a solution, through these situations he acts on us and shows his faithfulness.
3. God speaks through people
But the wisdom that comes from above is first pure, then peaceful, moderate, treatable, full of mercy and good fruit, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
James 3:17
God uses people to talk to us, a church leader, a friend, a chief, or even someone we barely know in everyday situations. Sometimes these people know that the Lord is using them because they have been guided by Him to pass that word on to us, but it also happens that someone speaks a word of blessing, learning, or even exhortation to us without knowing that we need to hear it.
In the same way, God wants to use you and me to talk to other people, we must always be attentive and allow him to use us as agents of blessing to our brothers, always seeking the wisdom that comes from above.
4. God speaks in supernatural ways
And Jesus, looking at them, said to them, This is impossible with men, but with God everything is possible.
Matthew 19:26
Finally, we must not forget that even today God speaks in supernatural ways. There are countless accounts in the Bible in which God used dreams, visions and even a donkey to speak, as in the story of Balaam. Our Lord remains the same and wants to communicate with us.
Speaking of dreams, they are often a way for God to talk to us while preparing or warning us about something, and to understand it we must seek to discern what is spiritual and what is not, through an intimate relationship with the Lord.
God bless you!
